The only efficient way to get anything done in Nigeria these days is by coming down, setting up, and running the operation yourself. Otherwise indiscipline will overcome our people and they'll just move on with your money with no results.

Politics / Re: The Oil In Bayelsa Belongs To Jigawa State by K0ala7(m): 3:12am On Nov 16, 2013
I'll agree with him if he tells me one thing from Jigawa that belongs to Bayelsa...one useful thing. I always wonder when resource control will take effect in Nigeria. Because each state needs to be forced to develop it's economy instead of feeding off the suffering of other like parasites.

Why did Bulletine Construction Company even feature?! They are the useless lot who spent over 6 years on the Air force/Eliozu fly over in Port Harcourt and never completed it until Ameachi gave it to someone else.

15-20. How about including the polling feature, for people who don't wish to share their ages under their usernames?

Travel / Ongoing Remodelling At PH Intl Airport by K0ala7(m): 5:04pm On Jul 13, 2013
Was at PH Intl Airport today and I noticed very distinct changes as compared to when I first came through here to PH in May. Back then the main terminal was boarded up and I couldn't really see what was going on there. But today when I passed through, I noticed the terminal and it looks like it's gonna be good.

Meanwhile, we still have to use the tarp tents as our makeshift terminal and the Federal Govt cannot possibly be a able to solve the temperature problems in there.
Politics / Re: EU Offers Nigeria $450 Million To Fight Corruption by K0ala7(m): 12:28pm On Jul 06, 2013
So after 60+ years since humans began exploiting the ability to leave this world for and explore deep space, Europeans still have not realized that you do not offer more food to a hungry, yet greedy tryant because it will only lead to more greed.

My suggestion is that all our 419/yahoo yahoo resources should be devoted towards instilling common sense into the peoples of Europe and whatever other inexplicably retarded, but supposedly advanced nations out there.

Nairaland / General / Re: Share Your Experience With Hunger by K0ala7(m): 12:12am On Jul 03, 2013
So I school in the US and it was my first summer semester. My guardian had paid for my fees and everything and then gave me $800 for feeding for 2 months. Since I didn't have a car and transport was difficult cuz the school is in the south, oklahoma, I had no provisions. So I decided to order pizza. I ordered large pizza with 2 pasta plates, cheese sticks and mountain dew 2 liter. Next day I wasn't feeling the trip and the cost to Walmart, so I ordered again. It went on for 3 weeks before I realized I was left with only $120. So I found someone to take me to Walmart and I bought provisions and a lot of ramen noodles just to snack at midnight. I consumed the provisions quickly and with 2 weeks to go, I only had 15 sachets left. Needless to say, during the exams week I had become the first person in my family to go abroad and live on less than a dollar a day. I made my only B of my university career that summer.

Microwaved ramen noodles is of the devil.

shakomende:

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, Nigeria currently has an unemployment rate of 23.9 per cent.

Not only are they bold enough to lie about the jobs, they also have the testicular fortitude to lie about our unemployment rate!

Mind you, Europe used to solve their problems like this some 1000 years ago. And then they made progress, so that tells you a lot about how deep in sh.it we are.

Granted, they might have plans to reach 10,000 MW. And they might (keyword: might) have sincere intentions of carrying out these plans. And the plans might be hindered by events beyond human control. But can they please just do something and tell us the result when it is done, instead of telling us and then failing? Please.

People should actually take time time to read the piece as it gives a much more different view of D'banj than the one we know in the media. I honestly don't know who's side to take (neither do I have any business doing so), but it is kind of an eye opener on how Don Jazzy who is a twitter addict is playing his cards to his advantage.

another wrong "invention"
cant they produce gen set or solar powered gens which everybody needs for electricity instead of bomb?

Do you know the amount of energy a bomb creates, it even attracts the FBI and if we improve capacity soon enough we would attract US Drones cool cool cool
Politics / Re: Nigerian Policeman & SARS Operatives Infiltrate & Bust Kidnap Gang by K0ala7(m): 7:27pm On Sep 03, 2011
Good News. But Nigerian Govt. is still gonna dissapoint us again. They should reward these officers in the public eye and see how many officers voluntarily begin their true duties as policemen in Nigeria.
