Xplodes2700: Age is definitely an issue, it makes me sick hearing a 25yrs old girl even dating a 35yrs old guy, in my own opinion i feel the age difference shud be @ least four years

When I hear of age difference of 10 years,I call it child abuse(not literal though)

People dont even consider the average age at which people die(let say the average man who leaves long die at 7O,so that means the widow will likely remain unmarried from age 60 till she dies.)

Have you thought about how you want your chiildrent to be raised,do you want the, to be raised catholic and do you think he will agree to that.

You have to understand that he may likely agree to every requirement you ask of him now,but when you eventualy get married,he will demand you follow his own way since he is the head.

If you are willing to renounce catholism or allow your children to be raised non catholic,then I see no reason why you shouldnt marry him but if otherwise,then your parents might have a point.
They probably have seen most of marriages like this and how it turned out to be.


Understand Love is not sufficient to have a blissful marriage,compatibility and other factors must be factored in.

I thought of what to write for the past few minute(about 10 minutes),I just couldn't come up with anything,I thought about reinforcing one of your points but all your points are self explanatory on it's own.

Looking at the number of views,the number of comments and the type of comments,it shows most people probably felt the way I do,we don't really know what else to write.

She is only 27,she can still get other suitors,but let her know the longer she stays in this marriage,the lower her chances of getting a good suitor because I can assure her she will eventually file for divorce later(that I know for sure)
