Romance › Re: When They Say"grow Up"what Do They Raeally Mean. by K9blunt(f): 8:59am On Apr 13, 2015
Dygeasy:
Stop typing from your anus and use your head. This is nothing to be proud up and you really need to grow up.

It's something else if she visits you on her own or you invite her without the promise of transport fare but inviting her, promising her and deliberately not fulfilling the promise is the height of childishness.

Grow up! Real men do not go back on their words.
like seriously from a guy shocked
so there's hope for some lucky lady that will get hooked up with you.

this is the best comment av ever read on romance section. *thumbs up*

op you no try at all....... grow up jawe!
Romance › Re: Ladies: Would You Date A Guy Wearing Something Like This?? by K9blunt(f): 8:52am On Apr 13, 2015
hell no, first impression matters and for me seeing this on a guy no matter how fine he may be I won't give him a minute audience if he approaches. it looks teenage to me not matured.

hmn I did all except the tooth and the roof thingy, acting in uncompleted building na, it was actually Nigeria vs brazil 2-1 I remember and people started singing "when Nigeria beat Brazil, when Nigeria beat Brazil o, then baybo(I don't remember the name well) come dey cry, when Nigeria beat Brazil"
Never washed legs and hands and go to school(momsy will use me for beating practice) never used legs to build houses but drew them on turn out exercise papers including girl with curly hairs and ear rings.never heared of spirits or ojuju on mango trees (momsys tales by darklight was enough to scare the bejesus out of me, thank you)
will never forget ayamatanga we use to scramble to watch on our black and white TV.

Thanks for your response..., i started it two days ago by myself since I couldn't find any locktician nearby, so i read this tutorial online.. Then i twisted it myself with wax... Problem now is i didn't twist it properly(not from the root) so it's a bit rough and all that.. That's why i need a professional locktician to do it properly...
I'm in festac lagos.. Thanks.

I don't know if you're OK with it, you can add me on whatsapp so I can share the pics of hair with you. 0808 745 3591.

I love it. How long have you carried it?

Do i have to cut my permed hair before i can lock my hair?

what are the beauty routine attached to locked hair?
yes you have to cut your permed hair, but not right away, you can keep braids or make wool braids on it and keep for like 3 to 6months to let your virgin hair out (new growth) then go to a good hair dresser to have the permed hair cut of , you should have long enough hair to start and in no time to park as you please.

my hair routine is to shampoo and condition once a week, then whenever I feel less lazy or remember (am too lazy no mind me.. lol) I apply Shea butter and massage vigorously in the night before I sleep, but I make sure I put the Shea butter and or dreadwax when the hair is just washed and therefore wet. once a month I relock my hair, why is because too much relocking thins the hair out making it look scanty and oldy grin and I love it when it looks manely.lol
just keep it simple .

I need to have an idea so I can recommend one for you and also give you his number.

that babe is hilarious!
well its indeed cheap, no mind some people telling you to get this or that o. just keep it simple with ori (Shea butter) , shampoo and conditioner. and please keep away from any product that has petroleum chemicals and alcohol.
having dread wax is good as well. e no cost at all.

BaebieHot:
This is very nice.
I love dreads but do not have the mind to lock my hair. grin grin

The thought of carrying it for years is discouraging.
I was like that, my elder sister started it and encouraged me but I refused cause I wanted to be rocking weaves and attachments which I eventually did do... but something just snapped in my mind that made me chop of my relaxed hair and start the locks, a lady complemented my attached hair by saying 'wow YOUR HAIR looks nice can I touch it?' and I was like *its not my hair, its artificial* and I felt uncomfortable and made up my mind. so babe you just have to think outside the box, and their are blogs where you can see the versality of dreadlocks and read blogs of natural hairs if you don't want locks. its nice .
at the end of the day just be happy with whatever decision you make. grin

hi everyone!

I came across a thread here about dreadlocks before NL went M.I.A and I was impressed that some Nigerian ladies are now going natural or locked..... so as to keep the spirit going I want to post my locked pic and invite others like me to share theirs as well.
PS am not hating any non-natural, its your choice but this is for those who are indecisive about what they want , discouraged people to be encouraged and haters of naturals to have an open mind or hug a transformer and save us some space in this planet. thanks.
I will share my hair care routine and journey as well as time and positive comments progresses.
ciao!

I don suffer for this life cry, when use to disturb my elders for doll baby that was white with real foreign hair I could comb everyday, and then when none was forth coming *in tears* I think I stole (or rather) commandeered my neigbour friends own.
then when I got tired of just looking at its lifeless annoying rigidity, I used it for mutilating purposes. : lipsrsealed undecided-X

changeagent:
I saw something somehow funny to me to the extent that I couldn't hold than to laughed out loud today. I boarded a taxi from dugbe to challenge Ibadan. One of the passengers( a guy) engaged in a conversation with a lady and later exchanged numbers. When it was time to pay the guy dipped his hand into his pocket and brought out #200 which I guess it was last money with him and the next thing I heard was for two of us. When he alighted the girl started laughing and told who asked him to pay. Please is it wrong to pay for the person you are meeting for the first time? Does she not have her transport fare?
that babe is an ungrateful nincompoop ... if he hadnt paid, she would have called the guy 'stingy',or 'not man enough'
if she did not want she would've politely declined or paid in his stead. some women!
and by the way its not bad in fact its just a polite kindness, that sometimes gets ungrateful backfires.

oh well op, you do realise its previledged kids with gadgets and unlimited internet that got heart broken that bash Nigerian women.

only kids bash people either men or women. but where's the fun if only grown ups put relevant threads on romance thread, we need some bits of fun reading the stupidity of kids posting on NL. so op chillax. grin
