rosy27: am really so sorry for what the boy is going through right now and the pain the parents are also going through cus i also went through some painful moments of my life 2months ago, when i had a set of twins and i lost one at birth and the other one was struggling with his life in the nursery. They were boys., the one that survive was so tiny that u could hardly carry him but with God on my side he survive and he is doing great now. The docs lost hope, some family members lost hope, even it got to a stage i myself lost hope but God gave me testimony. It was when i started saying the words of faith to the boy's ears that his condition started improving, things like u will not die, u will live, becouse u have tasted my breast milk u will not die, whatever that is not of God in ur system will leave and continue reading psalm 8 and 19 morning and night in the nursery and with tears in my eyes God of heaven answered me speedily.
All my write up is mainly for the mother of this boy, let her enter covenant with God, its not all about money or surgery, its about miracle. I'v seen it, it has happened to my boy and will surely happen again with brian amen. He will not need surgery when God takeover. I pray that the breath of God will enter him in Jesus name amen.

Well, I apologize if you took Offence to my comment but it still stands none the less..


I am currently building my house and thanks to my years of experience supervising the building of some of my fathers properties and interacting with site supervisors and architects, I can say I am quite knowledgable in building technology but not everyone is. An example of one of the challenges I have encountered was that the property developer (the company the house was bought from) used substandard materials all over the house. I even had to do an inspection of the beams and pillars to make sure they used the right gauge of rods for them. The electrical wires used all around the house were aluminum cables which we all know are cheaper and heat up quickly and can cause a house fire.. Now imagine how many of my neighbors are living with this problem unknowingly.

You can't punish a property owner outrightly for something that could have been caused by several unforeseen factors ranging from but not limited to:

1. The greed of his Builder who opts for substandard materials or even uses incorrect materials knowingly to save cost for his pocket.

2. Natural factors like 'creep' or mass wasting in some cases.

3. Substandard cement from the manufacturers or adulterated cement (which can fool even the most experienced builder)

4. Substandard rods that are highly malleable which are currently available in the market and can be passed off as the top grade ones.

5. Poor structural building plan which can cause poor distribution of weight and thus lead to failure..

You can't blame a home owner until it is proven that he deliberately short changed on materials and building quality to save cost. I would rather attack the building regulatory body for not doing their jobs. I worked in construction in Canada during my stay their for a building construction company and they had to inspect every stage of work we did before it was done especially the basement setting and layout, the insulation for heat and the electricals.


So my disappointment in your comment was your rush to stand with this rather barbaric suggestion of killing home owners without proper regard for the several other factors that could lead to a buildings failure.

steveyen: I took my Maxima on a out-of-the-state journey and through some very rough Lagos roads ( Ajao estate bad roads, Barracks estate, ogudu terrible roads). After a couple of days I suddenly noticed ' Service engine soon' showing on the dashboard.

I did a scan on the car and got the following error codes:
p0420 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)

p0328 - Knock Sensor Circuit High Input

Please what could these do to the engine? What is the implication of driving the car with these codes still on? How can these be fixed?

I also noticed the car makes a louder/deeper sound than before when revved. This happens after the codes now when I accelerates i do hear a more deep/loud sound.

Kindly help your inputs will be appreciated.

True, even with their SAV's as is the case with most or all German SUVs don't attempt to run them with your JapSUV's. I out ran a toyota V8 4runner when I still had my QX4 but I couldn't even out do a German, I switched to a RX AWD I felt its gonna be a new case but still they still trash the hell out[color=#990000][/color] of the RX. So the moral is unless you've got way much power and performance modification effect on your Japmobile, don't attempt running against a German no matter the engine size, its almost gonna be futile.
