Exnavyboy62: Mr Ramaphosa really handled this well. I aspire to have his level of calmness during tense situations like this. One wrong word or mistake in his speech and the likes of CNN would spam propaganda portraying S.A as anti-white. And the opposition party Minister of Agriculture did well to back him up without looking at differences in race or political affiliations.
https://youtube.com/shorts/KGjFGjviwZo?si=0ukyqeU3nYSTEAkl Ramaphosa did not handle this well. There's a time and a place to be calm, this wasn't it. You have to push back on the lies and delusions of others, else those lies and delusions become fact. What Ramaphosa needed in his team was someone like Femi Fani Kayode, a clear and articulate mind to push back on the claims of the Orange man. |

GreenandGold: We knew it was going to happen. Elon Musk and Right-Winger Afrikaners had already bought Trump..... We expected the orange man to be on the attack, luckily our president is a lawyer by profession and he deals with white nationalists all the time.
But the crazy part is that the Afrikaner Right Wingers are mad that the white Minister of Agriculture didn't tell their propaganda as they were hoping he would... They are even threatening not to vote for him in the next election... They don't know that Julius Malema can team up with Jacob Zuma in the next election and give them their white g#nocide they so desire. Ramaphosa has been humiliated beyond reasonable doubt. Trump was well prepared for him, and he wasn't prepared for this meeting. He should have sent his foreign minister instead. The answers from Rupert and the Agriculture minister were not convincing enough. They did try to save face, but they needed to be more articulate with their responses. Infact Rupert was begging for American help, I mean you negotiate a better agreement, not beg the person accusing you of genocide. The whole thing was not well handled and your President should have traveled with a better team. I mean the claims of farmer genocide are absolute nonsense, but Right wingers have now perfected the art of spreading misinformation and Ramaphosa was ill prepared. |

In less than 12 hours, India have lost at least 5 fighter aircraft, possibly more, to Pakistan.
3 x Rafale, SU-30 and MIG-29
This is the most aircraft that have been lost by India in a conflict since the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. |

NAF Delegation Strengthens Air Defence Ties in China
From 20 to 25 April 2025, a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) delegation led by Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar visited China to advance Nigeria’s Military Total Radar Coverage (MTRACON) and air defence programs. They engaged major firms like CETC and NORINCO, receiving demonstrations of advanced systems including the Sky Dragon 50, a medium range air defence system NAF is considering for acquisition. Discussions also covered training programs, technology transfer, and plans to establish a Radar Maintenance and Research Facility in Nigeria, highlighting NAF’s drive to modernize its airspace defence.

If you follow military accounts on X , you might has seen it.
Twitter used to be a left wing platform, now it's a right wing, in many cases extreme right wing platform. |

GreenandGold: Not many companies are willing to leave China... Setting up production and supply chain takes years. They're simply going to navigate Trumps tarrifs as long as possible, he has 3 years and 9 months left in power. They are now placing bonds on imported goods and actively doctoring paperwork. American companies don't simply have the manufacturing, skill or manpower to shift supply chains from China. This whole tarrif thing will fail!! While I understand Trump's desire to correct trade imbalances, this approach he has taken will not work. What many of these American companies do is important from China and Taiwan, conduct tests in the US and slap on their logos. |

MiddleDimension: South Africa has more defence experience than we have. They also have better drone manufacturing capability than we do.
The Breich you posted, will be our first attempt, apart from the Gulma and the Amebo prototypes we made, to go into the market. This is another good example of you exposing your ignorance about topics you are unfamiliar with. Read up and get educated before making comments. Proforce Defence, EPAIL, Terrahapix and BriechUAS all make drones. Amebo and Gulma are not the only drones that have been built in Nigeria. |

andrewza: Those rebels all so never took over the SANDF base. They held there ground unlike the times nigerian solders have dressed as civlians to run away.
What defeat in mozambique. When we left there where no more rebel attacks and the local government was not working with us. We have picture and video of defeated SA soldiers raising the white flag. There's enough video evidence showing SA soldiers celebrating with their captors and taking videos with them. The SANDF is toast.!!!! |

andrewza: News 24 is not our nastional news. They a online news site
The fact you dont know this means maybe you should not talk.
The closet we have to a nastional news is SABC You're too dull! A national news is any media that has significant representation/Presence across the federation. With people like you in the SANDF, I see exactly why you only have 6 operational aircraft. |

andrewza: The white flag is a flag of truce not surrender. İt is a sign to intent to talk or to show that you not in combat. There have been time when the attacker has flowen a white flag to aproach a defender to talk to them.
So please dont talk about things you know nothing about You military got comprehensively beaten, begged for a ceasefire and took tiktok videos with their victors. Good sportsmanship I guess!!! What a shame. Defeated in Mozambique, defeated in the DRC yet you want to go to war with Rwanda. Two theaters with heavy Rwandan presence. What a joke!! |

andrewza: A helcopter is a class of aircraft. There is no difrence according to the SAAF An aircraft includes all flying machine. Your national news provided data you only have 6 operational flying machines, not just helicopters which is a type of aircraft, but not the only aircraft. You don't understand the difference, yet here you are arguing. This is exactly why the SAAF only has 6 operational. |

jl115: M23 couldn't even take the SANDF base while outnumbering a peacekeeping force 10-1 , Nigeria loses bases in Nigeria to BH weekly There enough video evidence showing your soldiers raising the white flag and taking pictures with their captors in admiration. The SANDF is a joke. |
