If you earn in Naira and have not been used to traveling by Air and paying hotel bills in US dollars, then it will look expensive to you when you travel and then yours bills are in dollars given with the current exchange rates as the naira is sick at the moment.
That is why i said you should first check out the price for flight on their website, check out for hotel price on booking.com, check out for cost of food, drinks, boat cruise, etc everything is online.
You can then make a judgement of if you can afford the trip or not. CHEERS

To my understanding as a travel freak, the cost or amount individual needs for any trip is relative.... The most important and cash consuming aspect of every trip is transportation and accommodation. At the time I made the quoted submit, there was no direct flight from Lagos to Praia but Cabo Verde Air started direct flight in Dec 2019 and only suspended operation when covid show faced.... So you can check out for cost of flight on their website.
For accommodation, my choice of hotel or Air BnB might be different from yours so you need to check that online too.
For feeding, tourist sites sightseeing, hanging out, boat Cruise,etc I don't know if my choice will be yours too but what I always advice folks is that, when you get the total cost of flight and hotel of your choice, always make sure you have at least same amount of that as your pocket money which will cater for feeding, logistics, sightseeing, etc so you can have max fun. For example if after checking flight and hotel of your choice rounded to the number of days you wanna stay and the total cost is $1000, then having $1000 as pocket money is cool.

I been planning a trip to cape Verde with my friends (my maternal greatgran is Cabo Verdean) I have a theory that travelling in group saves more? Things aren't very solid rn so I just wanted to know if Cape Verde is a very expensive place

CV is a country consisting of islands( the islands I have visited are Fogo, Santiago, Brava and the capital Praia), a Portuguese speaking nation though they mainly speak a native language called Kriolu, lots of its citizens speaks French too. The islands have lots of forts and castles, very beautiful women and friendly too.
Getting to Praia is either by air from Dakar airport or through cruise vessels ( I have done both). There are flights everyday( CV is a member of the ECOWAS so it's visa free for Nigeria passport holders) but be very careful of our naija brothers at Dakar airport who are ready to rent you fake dollar notes as BTA as it will be requested at the airport in Praia on arrival.
CV is not a business hub so hustling there isn't gonna be easy. The islands are more of tourists destination and few fishing and port or harbour jobs.
Cost of living is quiet high there too. Lots of naija Yahoo boys based in Dakar always go into CV to flex during weekends when they confirm cash from their clients.

Now what does the Bible teach about death? The Bible says death is like a deep sleep, John 11:11. When we die we know nothing again, Ecclesiastes chapter 9:5,6. Why do we die? We die because of the sin we inherited from our first parents Adam and Eve. Where do we go when we die? God himself answers this question at Genesis chapter 3:19. Addressing the first sinner Adam, God said "in the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of the dust you were made, for dust you are, and to dust you will return". So when we die, whether we are righteous or sinners, we return to the dust. Death is the opposite of life. Therefore, punishment for sin is forfeiture of life, since life is a gift from God, according to Romans 6:23.
When we die, is that the end? No. Jesus Christ promised that a time is coming in the future when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, John 5:28,29. That is what the Bible calls Resurrection.
Now to the main question, what is the fate of those who did not hear the good news of Christ's kingdom until they die? Here comes the loving promise of God found at Acts chapter 24:15 where God promise that both the righteous and the unrighteous will rise again.
There is a beautiful truth I must let you know as gleaned from God's word the Bible and it is the fact that there are 3 categories of persons on earth:
1) Those who study God's word and try to live by it. These the Bible call righteous.
2) Those who study the Bible but deliberately refused to live by what they learn or even oppose God's word - these are the wicked.
3) Those who did not have access to God's word until their death - these are the unrighteous. Here falls the little children being talked about. God has promised to resurrect them from the dead where they will have the opportunity of doing his will, if they so choose, Revelation 20:11 - 15.
The wicked, for sure will pay for their wickedness, and their punishment is sure - everlasting destruction which the Bible calls Second death or lake of fire, - a total forfeiture of life, Rev 21:8.

Well said. I've become agnostic bordering on atheism thanks to posts like this with zero reasoning.

I just believe in the obvious fact that a curious, intelligent mind made all of this possible for some sort of pleasure or something to fill his/her empty tank of real love. Idk how comfortable Christians worship a God who'd send a kid to hell for being involuntarily born into a "wrong" religion when he's belived to create us all.
