You are posting the history of a shirt instead of posting an article that supports your claim.

I am showing you pictures from the website of garment makers that are authorities in clothing. See Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren calling it a Polo Shirt.

We are not arguing about the history of the shirt. We are talking about the name it is called. Whether it predates the game of Polo is not the issue here.

You didn’t read. Some people don tell you this before but you refused to listen..

Under Nigerian law, parties must secure at least 25 percent of the votes in a state during a presidential election or win at least one elective seat at the national, state, or local government level to maintain their registration. The court ruled that these parties performed poorly and failed to meet these benchmarks during the 2023 elections and subsequent by-elections.
But NDC is a new party sir. I think this is the first election that it will be contesting

Yes if you say Nigeria is retrogressing, I will agree with you because we have neglected things that were working for us. In the year 1993 , I remember vividly that our neighbor then was a secondary school principal, he had 2 grown up boys that were in SS classes and other children. Farming in those days was a normal thing for every household. This man and his boys usually farm all their farm crops year in, year out. E.g all the cassava that will later be processed into Garri and cassava flower that the whole family of 6 will eat all through the year, same with ebery other grains that the family will consume all through the year and there will be excess that will later be taken to Market for some money. He was a secondary Principal who was also earning salary.. all they had to spend their money on was petty things like fish and sometimes meat because his trap usually catches animal. Now with Technology advancements, everyone wants to be the tech guru, oil and gas business mogul. People prefer white collar jobs by so doing abandoning our natural or normal way of life as Africans. Everyone wants to move to the city, with inception of yahoo, young folks are not willing to learn anything but they want to blow like Wizkid or hushpuppi.. our food production as growing Population country is another factor to talk about. Is our food production outputs sufficient enough for our population? You see we have lots of factors that are causing Nigeria’s current situations. One of it is Migration other occurrence like the banditry issues.. brotherman we can’t finish this debate about why this country is like this today. My advice. We should all work on ourselves as individuals because you see those that will be power in the nearest future are not going to be people that are not part of us.. there can never be a good leader if we don’t have good followers because the leaders will emerge from the followers. It’s Monday morning I rest my case here.
I think you are generalising. Many Nigerians will go back to farming if they have access to land. And everything rests on leadership. The most advanced countries in the world got to there because of the deliberate efforts of the leadership to drive change. People will rally round a leader that has the capacity. Go and read about how Lee Kuan Yew turned his country around. Read about how King Rama IX of Thailand turned his country around. Even people like David in the Bible turned Israel around. Everything rests on leadership.

Mobile phones (GSM) was introduced sometimes after year 2,000 except those that were using Turaya and not everyone can afford it then. yes there was Pipe borne water and free education as you've mentioned but don’t forget that before lots of student would go to school back then they would have to hawk one or two items to sell or even after school, let me remind you, nearly all family usually have small or big farm that they are engaging back then.. and some will have to go farm first before thinking of going to school and that was why food production was sufficient back then except if you reside in Lagos or some other cities.. do we still do the family farming as much as it was in the 90s? Life was good but there were other things missing which the new generation are enjoying like the technology advancement. If you attended higher institution then you would know what it means to get your Medicaid done or if you have to borrow materials from the school Library. With the use of internet and AI you now have all information at your palm.. even in the 70s when they said Nigeria was better. They were also suffering and majorly of Nigerians back then are living primitively. Like I said earlier things will never be the same.. we should be sure that we don’t stop evolving.
From all you listed, it shows that Nigeria is actually retrogressing. Even the farming you talked about is a plus. It is nice if people have gardens where they farm as it shows the availability of lands and organic food in the society.

How I wish I have d opportunity to blend some of his raps to my choruses and rebrand it.

Waste or rap.

The lyrics of one rap song is more than 20 afro beat tracks
I dont think he wasted rap o. You know Art is a form of expression and some artists are satisfied even if they do not reach big commercial levels. They just want to express themselves.

But I still play his tracks on YouTube and Audiomack regularly. I love Death Blow and Talking To You very much.He dissed Ruggedman in both songs. I can replay his hard songs but "Cry" which is his biggest song doesn't have replay value to me.

But you can still sample his songs. You just have to seek his permission and give him hiis credits.

But I understand your point very well. He could have achieved more if he had good choruses and catchy hooks. For example Ill Bliss's Aiye Po Gan ft Terry G was a big hit.

Mode 9 is very good in rap but his beats were off key with nasty choruses.

Tubaba showed him how to make rap hit in " This Lagos wey we dey so...is our own '

But ,the big bros no dey listen to correction.
You are right. He was too hard core for the Nigerian audience. His biggest song is Cry. And it had a good chorus. But I still respect Mode 9 anyday anytime.

PoliticsRe: Osa Director National Honour: Odinkalu Replies Obidient On NDC Secretary by kachistone: 8:54am On Jun 13
phemray:
Labour party belonging to NLC and every workers, artisan and students in Nigeria are very strong and big since 2003, Obi was never in essence in politics. Obi using the platform just got the heavy support of most Nigeria workers and students added to so called MNK followers turned Obidents then
So the result of 2027 will show u that it's was the labour party that gave Obi the wider votes he got plus SE rigging in 2023.
NDC results in 2027 by God's grace, will show u Obi level in Nigeria, just watch.
So why didn't the labour party gain traction in other presidential elections? And why is their current presidential candidate unknown?

I know Mimiko became governor via Labour party and Omo Agege became a senator in 2015 via LP but the party never had nationwide traction like it did in 2023.

Don't downplay Obi's influece in LP's trajectory.

Well, I'm happy Omo agege has finally gotten the courage to leave the party for Dem Sheriff and okowa since Tinubu seems to trust those duo more than the people who were in the party before they joined.

Despite being the incumbent deputy president of the senate and the candidate of APC, what was Omo-Agege's performance at the last election? The Okowa led PDP won the governorship, all senate and all house of reps seats including majority of the state assembly. So, what's Omo-Agege's strength against an APC structure that now has the Okowa group fully integrated?

In case you don't know, APC deliberately discarded him for working against the party during the last presidential election. That is why nothing was given to him. He can go to hell for all I care. He has no relevance.
APC won the senate seat in his constituency. Sen. Dafione is the imcumbent. He won under APC while Omo Agege was vying for the governorship. The same Sen. Dafione defeated Omo Agege in this year's primaries.

Omo Agege is a big name o. But I will still remember him as the mace thief.
Educational ServicesRe: Difference Between Polytechnic And Universities In Nigeria. by kachistone: 7:06am On May 09
DuttyChuks:
In Nigeria, they messed up polytechnic, in reality polytechnic is far more better than universities. They're well taught, well exposed and 100% employable. I don't know why the discrimination against polytechnics. But, the system on board now had messed up Polytechnic system of education. Its not as it use to be before.
Polytechnics are not better than universities. They bought have different targets. Polytechnics are designed to train low and middle level officers like technicians and technologists. Universities on the other hand are designed for research and theories while prepping people for higher managerial and research roles.

They are both inmportant for society to thrive and no one should be relegated for the other. It is just a shame that Nigeria has not utilised the advantages of both systems to the maximum.

bazoodo:
The only road to Aso rock for ADC is to make Atiku the candidate. This is technically the turn of the south as it were and no northerner would want to vote another southerner who would do another 8 years in power! So if at all they would prefer a Jonathan or just go with the incumbent so they get power back in 2031. An obi presidency means they would have to wait till 2035. Or for obi better way for him would be is be a vice to Atiku. Then when he's done run for office. if he thinks the northerners would vote for him then he's in a dream world. The north always has the voting power in any election way more than the south.
Do you think Nigerian youths will vote an 80 years old Atiku?

There were already well developed. Skyscrapers everywhere.

Professional comparers to feel inferior as usual.
How was Nigeria a big fat bush in 1960 when places like Lagos, PH, Kano, Enugu and Ibadan were already developed?

The truth is Nigeria wasted her money during the oil boom of Gowon and the governments that succeeded it by not investing the funds that were actualised.

The government in Nigeria at all levels engage on wasteful spending instead of investing in critical infrastructure.

In a working system you don't need a senator to attract project the people deserve normally

You guys are used to this stupid system u practice in Nigeria
Don't shift the post chief. Senators all over the world attract projects to their zones. It is part of effective representation as their knowledge of these zones make them lobby for impactful projects to be sited there.

The work of a senator goes passing of laws. They represent people and zones. And these people and zones have peculiar projects that will make life meaningful. The senator who represents these people in the Chambers will ensure that these projects are sited in the budgets of the MDAs.
