Well,mine was paid a few days before we left camp(Batch 13c).Due to delays in getting accepted and cleared I spent an extra 2weeks in the city ,it wasn't funny.
My advice to prospective corp members,be extra vigilant when that money is paid,because most people will lose that money to those with sticky fingers.

I also crave the O&G job,a young mechanical engineer I am but my philosophy has shifted a great deal since this sad reality befell us.Flexibility and dynamism should be our watchword,for those already in the "oyel" money circle ,please do well to start divesting and buffering up,to avoid stories that touches the heart .

As engineers ,let's supply this tasty baby called earth,the energy it requires,but it doesn't have to be viscous, dark,slimy,hiding 10,000ft beneath sea level,2800 psi ,105 bar ,oh I forgot the subzero terrains ,chopper vibrations ,machinery neighbors, sharks,bop failures ....lol anything to make me hate oleum for now.

U will have to go there yourself. Its jobhunting that took me into the offices where I discovered the IT vacancies. Most of the companies directed jobhunters to their websites as usual but I succeeded in submitted hardcopies with abt two. Will be back at Onne dis january to submit at a shipping firm bourbon.

There are many companies accepting IT applications both at Transamadi and Onne industrial areas for those who wish to do IT in ph. A company like Mobil for example drops their IT forms at the reception to their office at Onne,u jst pick,fill and return. Other coys are also accepting IT applications as I speak. That's my little contribution. Interested guys should try it out...

Jay do you know if an entry level engineering position will be open in companies around the locations you listed??(mechanical engineering )

DEUTAG!!!!! Got mine after all the packaging I did on my CV. Spent almost a day writing the cover letter sef. Really sad that out of 3000+applicants (like they said), I wasn't shortlisted........ 2regret mails from a company in 1 year,nawa o.

Abeg, who don pass application stage before?; this one they are "sharing" regret mails to every one I know.
