@Ymodulus and @gboss4sure, this is what has been going on within our Security and Defence Apparatus for ages!

This "unhealthy" competition has brought so much "compromise" to the system and this has adversely affected the Armed Forces, Intelligence Angencies, Police and Para-military Agencies as well!

Some want to "subvert" the "Constitutional" roles and functions of the others mainly because of "inferiority/superiority complex"!

That is the main reason why most times they clash even in the open before civilians!

I pray our President Buhari maintains "status quo" so as to strengthen the Security and Defence Apparatus!

There are strong indications as well as information obtained through the grapevine that The Department of State Services (DSS) a.k.a SSS may loose their "Constitutional" control of The Body Guard Unit as The Nigerian Army Intelligence Corps is about to take over the BG Unit!

Information from an anonymous source because of the "sensitivity" of the nature of "ops" revealed that about two hundred (200) personnel from Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI) are undergoing training as "body guards" and would be used to replace majority of the body guards from DSS HQ!

It is pertinent to note that SSS Instrument I of 1999 empowers the DSS to protect the lives of Presidents, Vice Presidents and other VIPs including Governors and Visiting Presidents/Foreign dignitaries in what is known as "inner ring protection"! The "uniformed personnel" including the Nigerian Army as well as Police fall within "outer ring protection" and are there to work together with other Security Agencies with the primary objective of "securing" the lives of the President and other VIPs!

It was also learnt from the "grapevine" that the incoming NSA, a former Army Chief under late President Yar Adua is behind this very "drastic move"! According to the source, the retired army chief has his "private security operatives" already on ground in the Defence House! This development has also caused very serious confrontation between soldiers and body guards meant to protect the President!

No.81 is not really "feasible" here in Naija but it is naturally true!

The problem we have is that, "driving" is NOT properly "regulated" here in Nigeria!

Over 70% of people driving in Nigeria are NOT suppose to be driving vehicles!

A major reason why we have so many road accidents on our roads!
