Above all, prepare yor mind for the worst o. I m sure u are already doing that. Pray about it too. Prayer works.

With you latest explanation, it shows that the love grew again over time between them. It might continue growing. Personally, I wont advise your to play unserious role. Who knows maybe that is what the guy has been waiting for to use as an excuse for leaving you. The girl is a graduate (probably working), you are not, maybe it is a reason for him for wanting to go back (he must be dumb to do that anyway).
Like I said, which is what I did during my time, pray very well about it. It doesnt matter whether you are a sinner are not, once you pray about it that God should give you the right man (for marriage ni o), He will definately answer you. I am very sure of that. Please and please, dont be afraid of losing him. It is better to have a broken relationship than to have a broken marriage.

Best of luck.

I ll advise you on the little experience I've had as a guy.
The fact that you have been dating for 3 whole years and he is now considering going back to her EX means there is nothing, absolutely nothing that you can do about it. Three years is no joke, he must have studied you very well within the three years and compared you two. But what amuses me is that he is still considering somebody he caught with another man; either he lied about the cause of the break up (maybe he is the one that broke the poor girl's heart and he is now considering a return) or maybe you are still worse that the EX overall.
You can try what someone said on this forum first, learn all the sex styles in this world and give him. Find out what he doesnt like about you and try and change, atleast for now, try and do the things he likes - please let it look original, he might be pissed off by eye service. One of my ex used it one me then when we were together, and it worked on me then.

I don't always believe that ex are dangerous to a relationship if the guy is focused and he knows what is doing(of course except he finds out that the current babe is not as good as the ex) For God's sake why would I consider my exs when I always have someone better than them. Anyway , that is my own opinion.

Like someone said on this forum, give him benefit of doubt by finding out what they are talking about (maybe you offended him and he just wants to get on your nerve!!!!!!), but please do that one very fast!!!!!!!! And please if you discover that your relationship is under threat. BE THE FIRST TO QUIT - ON THE GROUND OF UNFAITHFULNESS BY HIM. It will help you reduce the shock.
Don't bother about how you will feel if you lose him. Never be afraid of loosing him.It is part of the things that must happen to someone in life. This strengthens you and makes you wiser.

In case there is any other info that can make us advise you better, just let us know.

As far as I am concerned o, Jega has not failed yet. He will only fail if he cannot conduct free and fair election. What all well meaning Nigerains want from him is free and fair election, not for an election to be conducted in a day. So if it takes him one week each to conduct each set of the elections, as long as it is free and fair, I dont give a damn.

It is better as the materials arrived late than for the materials to arrive early and be hijacked by People Deceive People. I think Jega trust only himself, he doesnt trust security agencies to protect the materials, he doesnt trust CBN vaults to protect the materials for a long time, that is why he wanted the materials to arrive very late. unfortunately, the thing backfired. But the good news is that, like yoruba people will say, o ba ni, ko ti i baje (e just spoil small , e neva spoil finish). Let us pray, not for Jega and INEC as persons, but for Jega and INEC as deciders of our fate. Nigerians have a lot to lose if Jega fails, so let us not wish him failure. Please and please, our hope depends on this man, so let us pray for him, it is obvious he has a good mind. Any body that wants to sabotage Jega s effort, be it Jonathan,PDP, or you and me, HOLY GHOST FIREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT A MATCH, ARSENAL DIDNT REALLY PLAY WELL BUT I THINK THEY WERE MORE CLINICAL TODAY THAN I HAVE KNOWN THEM TO BE, 6 SHOTS ON GOAL AND TWO WERE CONVERTED, DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY WERE A GOAL DOWN AND WERE OUTPLAYED, THEY STILL BELIEVED THAT THEY COULD GET SOMETHING OUT OF THE MATCH AND SO THEY DID. I AM NOT A FAN OF ARSENAL BUT I WOULD WANT THEM TO WIN THE TIE. I THINK IT IS GOING TO BE VERY DIFFICULT FOR THEM BUT IF THEY CAN GO THERE WITH THE MIND THAT THEY CAN BEAT THEM AT CAMP NOU, COUPLED WITH THE FACT THAT BARCA IS GOING TO BE WITHOUT PIQUE AND MAYBE PUYOL, AND THE FACT NASRI WILL BE MORE FIT, THEY CAN DO THE UNIMAGINABLE. CONGRATS TO ARSENAL FANS AND WELL DONE TO Szczesny, Eboue, Koscielny, Djourou, Clichy, Song, Wilshere, Fabregas, Nasri, van Persie, Arshavin, Bendtner, NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS AT CAMP NOU, YOUR NAMES, AND THIS NIGHT WILL FOREVER REMAIN IN THE MEMORIES OF YOUR FANS.

We are ready for war with Union Bank - NLC

| Print | E-mail

Written by Soji-Eze Fagbemi Friday, 11 February 2011

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), on Thursday, called on all its affiliates and allies in the civil society groups and the entire Nigerian workers to be ready for the picketing of Union Bank headquarters and all its branches across the country on Monday, February 14, 2011.

The congress said in a statement signed by its president, Comrade Abdulwaheed Omar, that it was ready for war as being declared by the Group Managing Director of the bank.

In a statement entitled: “Funke Osibodu’s declaration of war : NLC is equal to the task,” Comrade Omar said the NLC was fully ready, adding that the congress will never allow the rights of workers, or that of any of its affiliates, to be trampled upon with the level of demonstrable impunity and despotism as is being visited on the bank’s workers by the Osibodu-led management of Union Bank.

Comrade Omar said: “The attention of the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has once again been drawn to the anti union antics of the Group Managing Director of Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, Mrs Funke Osibodu, and her recent utterances the last of which was in a meeting she had with the staff of the bank early this week.

“In the meeting, Mrs Osibodu boasted and vowed that she will demystify the NLC and threatened to dismiss any staff found to express interest in unionism or associate with the NLC or participate in the impending picketing of the bank.

“We wish to, therefore, call on all affiliates of Congress, our allies in the civil society and the entire Nigerian workers that the leadership of congress is ready to enforce the mandate given to it at its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of Friday, February 4, 2011 where NEC resolved that workers picket the national headquarters of Union Bank and its branches across the country as from 8am on Monday, February 10, 2011.”

Politics / Re: Soludo Vs Sanusi - Who Is Right? by kafanchan: 8:04pm On Feb 13, 2011
Ikengawo:

Sanusi any day of the week. His focus on discipline and understanding of the core fundamentals can't be matched anywhere in the world except by
Alan Greenspan.

Soludo's leadership was marked with indiscipline and rampant looting.

See ya mouth, didnt you read MACJIVE01 post that said sanusi and lai alabi waived 7bn out of saraki's loan? And u said he is disciplined. U said soludo's leadership was marked with looting, get and insider in union bank and let him tell you how bad sanusi's mistress is sucking the bank.
Politics / Re: The Man Soludo. by kafanchan: 4:07pm On Feb 13, 2011
Soludo did consolidation which helped our banks withstand recession, he was able to manage our foreign reserve, it was this reserve that we ran to when the crisis was biting hard. Aganga and sanusi dey deplete our foreign reserve even when oil price dey increase, and someone dey use im stinking mouth dey tell me say soludo no beta pass sanusi. Look at 2011 budget for God's sake, if sanusi is really a bold person that knows what he is doing, why didnt he attack the presidency and other ministries that the budget is faulty.
seanet02:

The man soludo is a Financial Thief and an Economical Looter
U can not prove that, but I can prove that Sanusi and Lai Alabi waived 7 bn naira bad loan for Saraki which LAI did not deny.
Think about this, if saraki was owing IBPLC 8bn as at the time the list of debtors was published in 2009, why was his name not included in the list of intercontinental bank debtors. Wake up bro, sanusi is here to steal.
Politics / Re: Soludo Enjoying His Loot! by kafanchan: 3:54pm On Feb 13, 2011
Ikengawo:

anyone that says soludo is better then sanusi is ignorant.
when soludo was head of CBN it was a looters paradise,
nigerian banksing amounted to whatever bankers could steal before the took off to england.
one of my best frieds is a beneficiary to soludo era looting. Sanusi came in and his families looting ended instantly.

Sanusi has also won numerous international awards and revived the nigerian banking sector immediately during the recession when western nations couldn't even save theirs.

Olodo is your second name, U said sanusi came to end looting, what of saraki's 7bn bad loan waived at Intercontinental bank, is that one not looting?
Politics / Re: Your Top 3 Northern Figures by kafanchan: 10:49am On Feb 12, 2011
macjive01:

For Christ sake, do u people keep mentioning sanusi, what has he done ?
A man devoid of any innovative, progressive idea- introducing Islamic bank.

A man without the slimmest of international reputation and clout. He has been trying to sell some of his induced wrecked banks since his tenure, how far ? Absolutely garbage, three banks and institution has so far been the only ones to indicate interest, guess who they are?
. A low level Pakistani bank, comparable to wema bank in Naija.
. A lebannese club, not even a banking society, abi micro finance.
. A south Africa bank.

Just imagine, does that not sound like an insult?

He has single handedly increase umemoyment by over 10 %, been responsible for the policy that saw 10s of thousands of worker made redundant.
Imagine our beloveth union bank is in dire state, our big strong reliable is in comatose.

And surprisely sanusi is as corrupt as others; he cancelled 7billion out of 8billion of debts own by saraki. Why ? Becos saraki headed the lobby team that got him the job. How much more corrupt could one get?

Tell them, please do. You know what? the truth be told, sanusi gained much popularity because he sacked thos CEOs that most people hated. I have studeied Nigerians. Except the Hausas, all other tribes are easily envious of succesful people, it is common among Yorubas, I live among them. If anyone is successful, they are happy at his downfall. When Sanusi sacked those MDs, they were happy at their downfall, that is what made most people loved sanusi: he dealt with the people that they hated.
The fact that sanusi champined demarketing against oceanic and intercontinental is enuf to discredit him, he is bad man and he is also unproffessional, we here all know the gravity of demarketing. Immediately Lai Alabi resumed intercontinental, he waived billions of naira for saraki, sanusi's friend (this, they did not deny), and we still went ahead and gave him man of the year just because he told us what we already know (that senators spent much). He even lied about the figures (he called overhead expenses budget expenses) which he came back to apologise.
By the time sanusi id through with his "reforms" southerners will weep but it will be too late.

Anybody that has an insider in CBN HR should find out what happened at the employment exercise done recently, find out the names and tribes of those people recruited by Sanusi himself without the consent of the HR guys.

If the southern elders and elites refuse to do anything now, it is the upcoming ones that will curse them in future when the result of what the northeners are doing would be manifesting.

Sanusi and Aganga should be very careful of Soludo, all this while they have been directly or indirectly attacking Soludo, they guy keep quiet, now that he is challenging Aganga to a TV debate on the state of the economy, mennn, that guy knows somethings we dont know. The guy knows something that they dont know he knows. It will be very disastrous when Soludo exposes them that they have been lying on the state of the economy. They will tell us where all the money they have been withdrawing from reserve dey go. Shey na only national assembly sanusi say e dey spend big money, he will now come and explain to us why he did not talk about the other arms eating our oil procceds and foreign reserve too.

Sanusi and Aganga say economy dey grow, and foreign reserve dey reduce. Oloshi gbogbo. They will come explain when soludo invite them for TV show. Barawo. Bunch of liars.

^^^Why are you blaming Gov Jang for the lingering crises in Jos?
I know that you are very familiar with the background history of Jos crises, but to refreshen your mind to enable you re-appraise your stand,  these crises emanated from the Hausa/Fulani quest to have Jos  as their ancestral home (imagine that kind of silly claim by people who have lost their root). They lobbied IBB, during IBB military rulership of Nigeria to divide Jos LGA into Jos North and Jos South LGA and claimed that Jos South is for the indigenes. while Jos North is theirs (which kain animal sense be dat in another man’s land?)

Know it now that the FG under IBB caused the crises in Jos by dividing Jos into 2 for the interest of the Hausa/Fulani. Therefore it is only the FG that can resolve it.

See person wey get sense, thank you jare. The hausas (they are not the majority for that matter) want to be controlling Plateau state, but because Jang will not allow them, they start killing anybody that is not hausa, including some unfortunate yoruba muslims so as to make the state ungovernable for him and  create state of emergency. And that f.o.o.l is saying Jang should negotiate, negotiate with who? terrorist?, no way. Jang is protecting the heritage of his people, so that what happened in Gombe, Nassarawa, Adamawa will not happen to Plateau. The mentioned states are traditionally non hausas, but na hausas dey rule them now. It is the Jonathan responsibility to tell those hausa B*stard to leave Jos for the biroms and co. It is Jonathan responsiblity to change Hassan Umaru, the head of special task force in Jos, because his soldiers are being used  to kill the non hausas; except Jonathan himself is in support of the Jos killings, then if he is, the God that killed Abacha and Yaradua will kill him.

JosBoy4Lif:

Jonathan has given PDP incumbents a free ride in the primaries. Therefore, as a direct result more blood will be spilled as the likes of Governor Jang have convinced the masses that this political issue is religious in nature.

I watched an address whereby he claimed that Jesus Christ will rescue Plateau from these "murderers". Unless he can sit down and have a civil discussion with these so called "murderers" as he has punctually put it, this civil unrest will continue. We know what the problem is in Plateau. Why don't we proffer solutions like the intelligent human beings we are?

The sad part is that Jang will be re-elected governor of plateau as his main opposition is a women in Pauline Tallin. In a sexist Nigeria, I wish her all the best as we need to stop the killings on the Plateau (OBJ please rescue my beloved Plateau from further bloodshed, I beg you still get influence for Naija) . And all you supporters of Jang who believe he is paving roads and building infrastructure need to ask yourselves what good is that if you are not free to move peacefully?

U are a F.O.O.L, it is either you are one of the hausas that are using the military to kill innocent christians and other non- hausa muslim in Jos, or you are one of the greedy people that have lost out because of Jang's prudent way of spending government fund. Why will Jang negotiate with murderers, ehn? What excuse have u to take the lives of fellow citizens, what is it that they want that they cant tell the whole world (atleast militants in Niger delta did.) If they are truly marginalised, why cant they report Jang to the presidency, see Jos boy abi wetin u call urself, ur agony will still continue because Jang is going to be re elected as governor, and he will implement the Jos master plan that will drive your people from those areas belonging to UNIJOS that u occupied illegally.

If the Hausas are causing problem in JOS then they should be sent packing out of the place.

My friend told me that that is their fear. They know that if Governor Jang becomes Governor for the second time, he will end up implementing Jos Master Plan which will demolish some areas in Jos just like El rufai did in Abuja. The man is really keen on beautifying Jos and part of the programme is to demolish ugly illegal buildings and slums in . The areas that will be most affected by the demolition  in Jos  are the hausa dominated areas like Bauchi road, angwa rogo, congo russia katako e t c. That is why they are just fighting and causing mayhem just for G E J to declare state of emergency in Plateau state so that Jang will not come back as Governor. Hausa are the problem of Jos. Sultan should talk to his people in Jos instead of telling Jang to resign.

so who is causing the problem in JOS?

It is the hausas, I just got a call from a friend who is apoliceman there that the hausa hijacked a marcopolo bus in Bauchi road area of Jos town and burnt it today . The bus was coming from maiduguri and contained mostly Ibos. The bus contained over 100 passengers and only 3 passengers escaped.

We need to divide this country, we cannot continue to live with those animals called Hausas. And that Idiot Sultan of sokoto is calling on Governor Jonah Jang to resign when his (sultans) sick mind knows that it is his people that are causing confusion in Jos.

Sorry to digress a little, I discovered something about GTB, they have really experienced great influx of customers as a result of the panic created in the banking industry in 2009, but I dont think they have employed more staff (or let me say proportionate increase in staff) to really cope with the increase. I dont think that is right.
Career / Re: What Is Really Wrong With Intercontinental Bank? by kafanchan: 11:25pm On Jan 05, 2011
Despite the fact that I dont like the MDs that Sanusi put in those banks, I still think what happened to Intercontinental bank (THE SACKING ) is not unusual. It is a normal practice in Nigerian banking sector, especially the so callled new generation ones. So the poster should go and sit down, if he is sitting down already , then let him go and sleep.

U can imagine what would have happened if it was YAR'ADUA that make that statement.

I still see muslims and christians exchanging words angrily on this forum. Let us stop wasting our time on this, instead let us concentrate on fighting the common foe which is the hausas(predominantly muslims anyway). Ask any non hausa (be it christian or muslim) in Jos, he will never tell you that it is a fight between christians and muslims, he will tell you that it is a fight between hausas and non hausas.

the hausas are hiding behind islam to do their nefarious activities. doing this, they know they will not get full condemnation from other muslims around the world (u know of course that it is always difficult to condemn somebody of your own faith even if the person is guilty). nairalanders, it is not muslim against christians in jos but hausas against non-hausas in jos.

All of una wey dey dis forum sef, I tire for una. You guys should always know details of things before making comments on sensitive issues like religion. THE CRISIS IN JOS IS POLITICAL. THE HAUSAS WANT TO TAKE OVER LEADERSHIP IN PLATEAU STATE AND THEY WANT TO USE VIOLENCE TO ACHIEVE IT. The hausa muslims are the useless. Hausas are naturally violent. Na dem dey spoil Islam. Come to think of it: has any crisis like this happen among Yoruba muslims and christians in the south? Is it not Kano, Sokoto, Kaduna, Maiduguri, Bauchi and Jos that witness religious crisis.  See, If anyone of you knows anybody in Jos, ask him and he will tell you that  the yoruba muslims in NASARAWA area of Jos are always victims of hausa muslims assault. The hausas know how to turn the southereners against themselves , now they have succeded in turning yoruba muslims in the south against yoruba christians in the south. I have friends in Jos, they tell me that yoruba muslims and yoruba christians live happily together. Their problems are the hausas. PLEASE LET US STOP BLAMING ISLAM, LET US FOCUS ON WHERE THE PROBLEM IS :THE HAUSA MUSLIMS.

NB: I AM A CHRISTIAN.

@ X- FACTORIA, as an insider, please, why are they going on strike? I learnt from a friend working in union bank that , 1. taking annual general meeting to maiduguri (to scare shareholders from attending) 2. paying herself salary that is more than Ebong and 3. suspected movement of bank's fund to foreign subsidiaries of first bank (this is confirmed by another friend working in first bank) and gtb is among the reasons. Na true or na lie? ,

Then as per ur analysis number 6, u made mention of Akintola Williams Delloite, is it the same Akintola Williams that audited Cadbury in Nigeria?
