How many states have we visited for fun and relaxation in nigeria?

I would be listing some states you can travel to and totally feel at home from my personal experience

1) akwa ibom most especially eket and uyo

2) enugu state most especially enugu city

3) kaduna state especially zaria region

4) abuja almost all areas of abuja

5) Cross river espcially calabar and ikom

Wtc

My yardsticks were

I) environment

Ii) ease of movements

Iii) road network

Iv) sanitation

V) cuisine

Vi) hospitality

We can add more if we know


You can travel with your kids this summer vacation to other cities in nigeria if you on a tight budget but still want to give your family a unique family holiday vacation.

even the guys at the airport in nigeria says air moroc is the worse and i was lucky i got my luggage...my layover was 1:30mins,Air moroc is bad as i paint it...i saw people who have been at the airport for more than 5 days..no food no nothing..i have videos..infact i was told by a morrocan policeman to put pressure on them and if i dont i will sleep there again for another day..customer service is zero.it cost alot to buy 2 good boxes now in nigeria..these people destroyed them both..even the ndlea guys told me i can sue them but i dont have money for a laywer and nigerian court system sucks

Be strong dear, one of the disadvantage of been a nigeria or black africa. I dont think the whites or arabs face same issue

No matter how you preach by 6am tomorrow their plane would take a plane load of passengers out of nigeria to casablanca.


Did you get your ticket direct from the airline, a travel agent or online booking platform?

thats true but egypt air is even better than air morroc but egypt air is way cheaper..the point am trying to make is to let people know what i passed through it was a very traumatic experience and $500 aint cheap because i am not a rich lady and they dont pay me alot where i work

Saying egypt air is better hmmm, air maroc is bad but not as bad as you paint it.

When travelling with this budget airline, try as much as possible not to have a layover at casablanca of more than 3 hours

dont be domiciled in one city and assume same for all cities in nigeria. most countries in africa are one city country, so they make sure the city mostly the capital is in good shape

the only advantage you have as a nigeria over other nationals of other africa countries is our work spirit, Nigerians are human machine

the person talking about lessons in gambia, do you think people dont rake in millions from lessons in nigeria, if you aint making it in this city, try another city.

and yes this isnt ethnicity, most french countries thinks igbo is nigeria, you say you are nigeria they ask are you igbo?

my brother if you enter sambisa forest at the right time and right skill you would be blessed in sambisa forest

i am a travel consultant, i make money when people want to travel, but for this topic i have to be real. nigeria is way better than most africa countries.

standard of living might be poor, but opportunuties abound more in nigeria than most africa and european countries


you travel to this countries to have travel history not because opportunities abound there

I working on having travel history for a family of 4 (2adults, 2 children ages 9 & 4).

Which countries will you advise on the cheapest budget (visa,ticket, hotel, transport etc)

Intending travel date is last wk Sep-1st wk Oct. I was looking at visit Dubai via Kenya air, using the layover in Kenya to get Kenya transit visa and resting in a hotel during the layover which cld before or after Dubai.

Help of any form is most appreciated.

its one of the the best tourist destinations in africa and boasts of one of the finest beaches in africa and also wild and marine life

a travel budget plan for aug 30 - sept 13

1) flight ticket direct from lagos to zanzibar is averaging 295,000 for ethiopia air

2) due to the the fact that its economy is run basically on tourist hotels are on the high side

i) average budget hotels for 14 nights is 130,000

ii) average cost of hostels and motels of good standards is 60,000. you can check this hostels out ( Zlife hostel, Market backpackers, Lost and found zanzibars ) they have good visitors review

3) places of interest includes but not limited to

i) stone town and prison island ( you can handle it yourself or with your buddies )

ii) Dolphins and Jozani forest Reserve Wildlife ( averagely 40,000 for one person )

iii) beach night life, the cuisines and night life

4) the beach life

5) pocket money 250,000

6) you adviced to get tanzania e-visa from their consulate in abuja for $50 before undergoing the journey to avoid airline stories.

visa process is pretty straight foward and it comes out on or before 2 working days

you need importantly 1) passport valid for 6 months 2) 2 white and clear passport photo 3) hotel and air reservation 4) letter from your employer

supporting documents 1) yellow card etc

a budget for one person with in an hotel should be 750,000 naira but for a hostel 650,000

this cost can shrink drastically if you travel as a group and stay shorter period

mauritius is a lovely island nation with lovely beaches and ecosystem, warm temperature and worth the travel

i made a travel plan using the south coast area as an example for one person

1) average flight cost for two weeks aug 29 - sept 13 from lagos - sir seewoosagur ramgoolam international airport is
350, 000. kenya airways

2) lowest hotel room you can get at the southern coast is 80,000 you can take a look at ( Le Yanrie hotel at Le Bouchon )

3) places worthy of interest are

i) Casela nature park where you get opportunity to walk with tamed lions ( average cost per person is 35,000 )

ii) visiting Dolswim, where you get to play and swim along dolphines and whales and other aquatic attractions ( average cost a day per person is 40,000 including the boat ride, breakfast, lunch , tour guide etc.)

iii) visiting the black river gorges national park, one of the most reserved environment in africa/world ( entrance free, you either choose to employ the service of a tour guide or you buy the parks map and tour yourself )

4) pocket money average of 150,000

5) lovely beaches

6) visa on arrival, visa can cost from $50 - $200


on the average to have a swell time in mauritius for 15 days and 14 nights, you would have a budget of 700,000 naira

the travel cost reduces significantly if you travelling as a group or spending less days

goodmorning, i would answer your second question now, its cheaper going in a group of 6 for this reasons

1) those countries you listed are purely tourist countries, when you go as a group you get reduced cost in accomodation, instead of going for a single room hotel, you guys can go for either hostels or suites depending on your budget

2) cost for tour guide reduces

3) movement is faster cause, you are a complete tour group, no extra cost or delays in waiting for persons to make up the number

4) would be more fun, you cover more leg distance

etc

i would get back to you on the individual countries, the total average cost, how to go about each etc. i would be mentioning you on each and be dropping it one after the other.

To get that, meet family members, sell things, just anything to raise maybe 50 to 100k, with that amount, even without shop, just maybe locate a poultry farm near you, buys eggs and distrubute to customers at maybe 200 naira profit per crate, or get empty room in your house, buy broiler chicken, rear them and sell with profit, many ideas abound. It might seem like small and rough businesses to do, but those kind of business are the real money spiners. They bring profit quickly, you can expand and diversify very easily and you dont need huge amount to start. 50,000 can easily earn you 150,000 naira as profit within two months in those kind of business. tbc

bro just trying to raise some pointers, egg business is a delicate business, if you going the egg route the easiest route is you gather all the measha/ this mallams that do noodles and egg, create a loan system where you supply and give them a time frame for monetary returns to get more supplies.

you have to invest your own money and also source fro very cheap and reliable source.

this is a business i have done before, if you rely on just distriution, you might be burnt.

same goes for other farm or animal produce related business

if you aint really keen on going to school there why not build a business with that money, and kill two birds with one stone
