if you book an airline to destination A, and the airline goes through destination B spending a little while destination B, you might/would need a transit visa to go through destination B to destination A.

Lagos is an irony, you fly into Lagos at night, its all glowing and bright, you touch down and realize all the brightness are from cars stuck in holdup. Lagos presently is terrible

Kano - Kaduna - 2hrs- 5-7pm - lodge

Day 4
Kaduna - Jos - 5hrs - 7am - 12noon
Explore Jos - 12noon - 3pm
Jos - Makurdi - abt 5hrs - 3-8pm - lodge

Day 5
Explore Makurdi - 7-9am
Makurdi - Onitsha - abt 7hrs - 9am- 4pm - lodge

I would advice you fly in through jf Kennedy international airport

On the average it cost around 360,000 for emirates and etihad for that date

I don't know where in Maryland you going to, but if you going to Washington DC , its approx 5hours from new york by road, car precisely.

But if you want to fly in direct to Washington international airport , averagely 460,000 for the cost

Yes you can book your tickets online yourself, however your travel agent is supposed to be able to get you discounted fares for airline tickets, that's why they are called travel agents. They compare different fares on different airlines and give you the best price. However Travel Start lures you with a cheap ticket price but you end up paying twice more than even the airline will charge. You have to experience it first before you learn your lesson.

Actually they sold to you a promo ticket, the cost might be right because you have to pay for upgrade from promotional ticket to a regular ticket. If you were actually sold a regular ticket you would have paid less than $100 as long as the class you booked is still available


Then secondly airlines don't do change date on a ticket issued by an agent in most cases

If you are travelling with a one month extendable visa, buy a ticket for that 1 month but valid for a year. Anything outside that either the airline won't lift you, at transit you are either turned back or asked to change your date at the airport to reflect your date..

Any reason why tickets are cheaper on Wednesdays and Sundays? Does this hold true throughout those days or particular time windows?

This is solely my opinion from experience and not a fact

Wednesday is seen as midweek and its believe to be peak of all activities be it school, work etc, air activities on Wednesday tends to be lower maybe that is why mostly fares are cheaper that day

Then for Sunday a lot of religious persons don't usually want to fly on sundays, I got to notice this when I want to book tickets for my clients, when I give them a Sunday date they are relunctant, some go ahead just because it's cheaper and not because they feel comfortable travelling on sundays

Let's say you booking an airline to Toronto in Canada, you book Delta air that terminates in let's say new York to board air Canada you booked seoerately to Toronto .

This can only be possible if you have a transit visa unless Delta air won't even lift you here in Nigeria.

But if you book a Delta airline that partners with air Canada to Toronto, in most cases you won't need a transit visa

You would need a transit visa unless the two airlines are code sharing or you have a US visa

Why that itinery, going to be very expensive minus the transit visa unless you are flying with airline flyers units

Buying now is OK cause after the easter period we would be getting set for the summer season which is like the peak season in aviation calender

If you travelling through united states with an airline domiciled in the United states you won't be needing a transit visa, but any other airline, you would be needing a transit visa.

Your Canadian visa is inconsequential in this case
