Education / See Why Nysc Should Be Scrapped (photo) by kaikubura: 9:32am On Mar 19, 2016 |
NYSC has postponed the camp commencement date several times prior to this time. Now it has been shifted from 1st April to 27th April 2016. The management of NYSC don't bother about the life of people they are toying with. I will advise that this scheme be laid to rest because it is just a waste of time of Nigerian youths. The University I attended has already wasted 1 year after graduation with mobilising any student talk less of the numerous strike we had in the school, spending 7 years for a 5 year course without any carryover. Now NYSC will waste another year by telling people to go and teach secondary school students yet most companies will expect you to be at most 24 years when applying for job. If this country wants to develop, they should take a clue from the developed countries like the USA where it is not a must to serve but an option to volunteer to serve your nation in the military which comes with a huge financial reward. 2 Likes

shobroy10:I quite agree with you. But don't you think most of the challenges we are facing are being sponsored by these countries so that they take full advantage of us. Take a good look at Libya, the NATO countries sponsored a rebel group against their government and unfortunately the citizens fell for the trap until they killed their benefactor president (Gaddafi). Now Libya has known no peace ever since and their oil cannot be accounted for |

xpac01:You are correct. What they do is divide and and rule so that we use our resources to fund their livelihood. Our politicians are been encouraged to keep looted funds in their banks thereby creating more jobs for their citizens and more revenue for their country while we are left to fight ourselves over what is not sufficient. 1 Like |
Politics / Can You Provide Answers To This Mind Boggling Question? by kaikubura: 1:06pm On Feb 27, 2016 |
Let us take a second to reflect on these: Why is it that countries that are blessed with ENOUGH resources are the ones ravaged by MORE THAN ENOUGH penury and security challenge? 1.) Iraq - oil 2.) Libya - oil 3.) Nigeria - oil 4.) Congo - copper and oil 5.) Afghanistan - oil 6.) Somalia - oil 7.) Egypt - oil 8.) Sudan - oil 9.) Syria - Oil 10.) Yemen -oil ...and countries that do not have half of the resources of these countries enjoy in luxury with no security issues. They are: 1.) United Kingdom 2.) Germany 3.) Italy 4.) Switzerland 5.) Canada 6.) Lithuania My own opinion is that slavery has not stopped but modified because most ravaged countries are being looted all in the name of peacekeeping. ...to be continued |

sorry about the little mistake. I meant "stark" not stack; so far you all understand what I mean no problem. Back to the matter: this is the end of an era for the duo. Kwara has experienced backwardness under their watch than any other administration. 1 Like |
Politics / Opinion: APC Will Lose Kwara State Because Of Saraki And Ahmed by kaikubura: 6:35pm On Jan 25, 2015 |
Though the new Kwara slogan says "It is good here" but in reality, Kwarans are saying "It is worse here". Let me start by laying down some facts about the current governor and his government: 1. Governor Ahmed was commissioner for finance under Bukola Saraki's PDP government. 2. Saraki anointed Ahmed to succeed him as governor and to also help him cover-up financial crimes perpetrated during Saraki's tenure. 3. Saraki remained the sole administrator of Ahmed's current government and the latter only take action on whatever command dictated to him by the former. 4. Saraki dumped the PDP for APC which automatically leaves the lobby boy no option than to follow his boss. Ahmed Fatai has been "hyper-under-performing" since he got to the "POST"; the post of a state gate-keeper. He run errands for his boss who is in the senate house. One day I was listening to a radio station in Ilorin and I heard people singing Ahmed's praises about what he has done in Kwara; let me share the details with you: 1. Fatai renovated all the general hospitals in the state. 2. Fatai embarked on operation no pothole - that is, FEW bad roads in the state are been patched. 3. Fatai constructed of a vocational center in Ajasse-Ipo. 4. Fatai gave car loans to civil servants and teachers. 5. Fatai gave N5000 bursary to all students - of which only a few students ,say 25%, got the allowance while the remaining was returned to the "TREASURY". After listening, I felt a deep cut in me and was almost weeping for our people of Kwara. I looked at everything they claimed he had done and I said to myself; "a local government chairman should be counting these as achievements". Roads linking ErinIle-Offa-AjasseIpo has been left untouched since the time Saraki became governor. Only dust rules the atmosphere in those towns. Yet he thinks people are happy. Now to the main matter: Kwara people are now so extremely tired of Saraki dynasty infact their family has been a curse to Kwara. We need change but not in the current APC government of Ahmed & Saraki. There is no way they will win except they resort to their occult powers to rig and intimidate, infact if they do we will remain undaunted till they fall. Though Buhari is a choice that I and most Kwarans want but Ahmed should forget re-election as he has failed the old and young. Before I close let me restate that Ahmed Fatai is a stark illiterate when it comes to good governance. We want a governor who will be proactive in his actions and shall not be answerable to any godfather but the good citizens of Kwara. May the peace of God be with us in this election. Amen. Thank you all. 1 Like |

In as much as I don't support the current ideology of APC in my state (Kwara); Aregbesola will win with widest margin in this election. The man has done a lot not for a rich and powerful thug to destroy. 3 Likes |
Politics / APC Will Lose And Collapse If... by kaikubura: 9:16am On Nov 08, 2013 |
Yesterday, the leadership of APC were in Kwara state in a move to woo the governor to the party. Now, Kwara people will never ever vote for a party that accomodates the tyrant who calls himself Bukola Saraki. This is for no other reason but for the obvious fact that this man thinks he has acquired a possession from his wicked father. The dumb and ever dull governor Abdulfatai Ahmed said while responding to the APC chieftains yesterday "only Senator Bukola Saraki can negotiate on behalf of the state chapter of the PDP on whether they should join the All Progressive Congress, APC, or not". Where in Nigeria will a sitting governor like Ahmed proudly show that he has a dangling 'L' pendant on his neck; it shows that this governor is only a gateman and a Learner at ther same time. Ahmed further foolishly said "given the prevailing political structure in Kwara, only Saraki could determine the next move of the PDP members in the state.". I am shaking my head for him and his life; I mean, he his doomed. It got to a point that I could not tolerate the dumbful words when he stated that "the people of the state belong to a political dynasty and would not give away the structure at any cost". And I said to myself, God forbid, I do not belong to any dynasty and my family will never belong to an occultic team of theirs. More of a fact, Kwara people never claim to be part of any ridiculous alliance, the governor is just displaying yet another level of stupidity. Ahmed could not stop, so he said "It is an existing structure for the past 40 years with assured election winning machinery", "But before anything else, let me tell the leaders of the APC that we have a structure called ‘Election Winning Machinery’ here in Kwara State", "We are one big family here, under a political structure inherited by our leader, Dr Bukola Saraki. He has given all of us joy and comfort that he can lead us well". The above statement justified what I said that Kwara people belong to no dynasty, it has been rigging all the way. They (Kwara PDP) were never, for once, in their lifetime had credibility for one good reason. To APC: we sighed when you rose up against corruption and we think a saviour has come for Kwarans but I don't want to be fast in conclusions. Please if you still want to retain your credibility, never allow these criminals into your midst. To Kwara Traditional Rulers: Most of you that have now been dragged into politics all because of money, may God never make you know peace. Also to some of you that has made Emir of Ilorin your lord of lords, you all shall rot like perishing tomatoe. Verbum Sapienti Sat est- A word is enough to the wise. 1 Like |
Politics / Lest We Forget! OFFA, The Cheated Community. by kaikubura: 7:10pm On Nov 04, 2013 |
Offa, recently, has been a victim of circumstances that might probably rip off her dignity. Little do we know that "Selfish Saraki" is trying to meander his way into the peaceful society. Offa has always stood for justice and truth but now the power brokers in Kwara are testing their poltical "Talisman" in the community: their lovely King is embattled, their local government chairman has been sent packing. Yet a fresh election was conducted but till now the certificate has been in custody of the wrong "winner". Well I blame S.S. Ajibola (the Greedy Senator) who has nothing good to offer his own village talk less of Kwara south. When will the Kwara gluttons take a break and let other cities develop aside Ilorin? The roads passing through Offa city is non distinguishable with that leading to a village. The neighbouring towns in Osun state are now mocking entry into Kwara with the dualised road carried out by their brilliant Governor. Offa people love Oba Mufutau Oloyede as their Kabiesi and Popoola (APC) as their chairman. God bless Kwara South. Amen. |
Politics / Re: Would You Re-elect Your Current Governor? by kaikubura: 8:23am On Jul 20, 2013 |
all of you join me in shouting "Tufiakwa"! The most useless state governor is that of Kwara state. He his so dull and barely has the characteristics to be a local government chairman in Lagos state. A governor who is only able to boast of blocking potholes and renovating general hospitals nothing else. Not his fault anyway but some "alatenuje" (covetous) kwarans who sold their birthright with amala and ankara. Fools! If he should contest again I will note vote for him and by God's grace he will not enter. Orì wá ko nì bùrú ooooooo! 1 Like |
