The Niger bridge is more strategic and important.

The third mainland bridge is not even the only bridge connecting the Island and Mainland Lagos

That was why I emphasised economic importance
Politics / Which Bridge Is The Most Important In Nigeria by kaikubura: 11:01am On Feb 07, 2018
Myself and my colleagues got into a discussion/argument on which bridge is very important to Nigeria in terms of what the bridge contributes to national economy.

My stand is that 3rd mainland bridge is the most important because it connects people to where big companies (oil companies, banks etc.) are located.
However, they were of the opinion that Niger bridge in Onitsha brings in more revenue to Nigeria.

What is your view?

Benefits of the C&C fruits

Eating the right foods on a weight-loss diet will help you stay within your recommended caloric intake without having to feel hungry all the time or miss out on essential nutrients. As long as you control your overall caloric intake and keep the proper portion sizes in mind, fruits and vegetables make healthy diet foods because they are filled with nutrients while being low in calories.
To continue the series, I will like to tell you why these two fruits are important for weight loss.

I am going to share my personal tummy fat journey using sweet foods. A lot of people believe that you need to eat something bitter before you can lose those unwanted fats... that's not so cool.

I personally eat late at night which caused my tummy to accumulate a lot of fat. I got so worried and talked to an elderly African man about it. He told me some secret about keeping fit by eating fruits in the right combination and proportion.

I tried it for just 16 days and voila! it worked just like magic...

I am also very hopeful that I will be invited but my advise for others is to channel their energy more on other things while expecting an invite.

The other side of the story might be they've held business games in other countries prior to coming down to Nigeria hence the "another" used in their caption.

oyinD1:
Let me get analytical here and weight both sides of the coin.

There are two sides to this story.

Looking at that picture- it says 'another successful business game held in Nigeria'.

Keyword here is : 'Another'.

Which mean AB inBEV could decide to hold another which means an additional business game or not.

So there is a 50:50 chance.

AB inBev hopefuls do not be deterred in any way.

Since a chance is still available, this coin could be flipped and they could hold: another successful business game.

The verdict: study freaking hard for your upcoming video interview/case study as there is still a chance.

I repeat do not be deterred in any way.

This speech is solely aimed at all the hopefuls that have been told they would be called after the logical reasoning test.

Do not let white or background noise discourage you.

Plus nothing is certain till the HR sends you a message or not saying no more hope.

This should be the spirit. Do not let words of mouth restrain you from your goal.

Cheers hopefuls!!!

Bro, do you know that customers possess the power to change a business either positively or negatively.
If those who patronise these officers decide to stop, what do you think will happen? Of course, they will have no choice than do the correct thing.

If that's the case. dedicated people are the management staff not the customer

You're part of the people that make the system more paralyzed. Do you think healing a paralyzed system happens by chance? No, it takes time sacrifice from dedicated people.
Please change your mindset bro

damola1:

Kudos to waste of time. Because time is unlimited. Money . Morals. VS Time. Best to use my time sleeping at home than trying to change a system that's paralyzed.

The corruption in the system is caused by the people at the top because they are too corrupt to do their jobs. This is an open crime. it's not hidden. am sure even if their DG walked in there they wouldn't know. but their DG's priority is to rake in corrupt money than do his job. or they don't have HR Department?

What are these guys doing there?... what's special about capturing of data. it's data entry work. no different from when a bank takes your details. or what's there in using a webcam, a signature pad and a thumb print. same thing waec and jamb does everyday

Let them fire everyone there. Hire fresh ond, hnd and bsc graduates who need jobs badly. Give them daily target of work to be delivered. Install security cameras. And define the workflow expectations on how everything should be. anyone who cuts corners will be suspended immediately.

These things are not rocket science. it's just the incompetence of the guys at the top.

Ikeja passport office

agabusta:

Kudos to you! I just really wish your comment was on the front page.

That is the spirit. Nigerians will be complaining as if it is Angels that will come from heaven to make a stand for them. And people like you that make a stand for what is just and right, they will even be talking down on you as if you are not smart or you are stingy.

Our major problem is just that we as a people are not organised, like to cut corners and are not patient. We like to get things done ahead of every other person thinking it is smartness, there is chronic selfishness in us. It is this mentality that corrupts the whole process of things in Nigeria and it thereafter becomes a norm.

Keep it up. It is few people like you that will drive the change Nigeria requires.

That is same thing I always do when renewing my driving licence. I pay online, then go to their office, ready to spend as much time as needed. And I always get my license without paying extra.

Which passport office did u use please?
Travel / Re: Immigration Bans Cash Payments At Passport Offices by kaikubura: 10:57pm On Aug 28, 2017
I applied for renewal weeks ago via the NIS online portal and paid 17800 (15k for passport, 2k for address verification and 800 service charge).

I was given a date for capturing which was a week after application. On getting to the passport office in Ikeja, those NIS officials didn't even attend to those who had done online application. But I was determined not to bribe any official, so I walked up to someone who explained that I needed to get a file, write an application letter with 2 passport photographs then arrange it a particular order.

After arranging, I took it to a place called DFU and an official wrote "XP" at the top corner of the file and told me to steward the file myself to where it will be signed. When I got to the place, I was told that the person to sign was out on training that I should wait if I can. It was there and then that an official asked me what I was waiting for and asked for my file, when I gave it to him he saw XP and said "oh! You're self process" then he handed it back. Eventually the lady to sign arrived and signed. I was then told to come back the following week.

When I got there, they brought out files of those that will capture for the day and my name wasn't called. I went to ask the official calling the names to ask him why my file wasn't there because I submitted the previous week. He then asked "who is assisting you? ", I told him nobody. He advised that I should go to where I submitted my file the previous week to make enquiry. I went straight to the man I submitted to and he asked of my name and I told him. He stood up and went straight into a room to pack some files marked XP. He gave me mine and told me to queue for capturing. To cut the long story short, I was captured. I am currently waiting for my passport to be ready. I don't mind how long it takes, I'm not giving any official any bribe.

NIS needs a total overhauling. Their members of staff are just too inhuman and corrupt.
