UNILAG DLI is a part time weekend programe, the exam is once in a year, no semesters. You move to school for intensive day lectures for 2 or 3 weeks after which you write your exam but that will be after the regular student has finished their 2nd semester exam, we call this period residential time, your school fee included hotel accomodation for that 1 and half residential programme.

It is a five years programme, they offer majorly Bus Admin and accountancy courses with some education courses but i wll advice if u want to do education go to sandwith programme of UNILAG. Before, they said DLI is written on their certifcate but we are informed now that it will not be written on it again. Even if DLI is on it i can assure you that the ceritificate is accepted internationally , ICAN accept the certifiacte, u have all the exception if u want to do professional exam, DLI has been existence since 70s. UNILAG is the first institution to start Part time programme in Nigeria under DLI Programme.

Warning: if you can not read and study don't come because DLI will show u way out at 200L if u dont have good point and if u say u want to bribe, it is not possible because on a course we have about 4 or 6 lecturers u can not even try it.

Residential programme is always a wonderful experince because everybody will be together like regular student and u understand what happens when student are together no matter their age, this year residential programme will start on 14 November and end 20th Dec.

Once the form is out purchase and be prepare for entrance test.

I am a 500L student at DLI passing out this year, being in DLI is a wonderful expereince. if you can not read, i repeat don't come, is not like some glorified secondary school university partime arround Lagos.

Beware of 419ners for the admission, prepare very well for the entrance exam and get to know pple inside but if anybody say u should bring money be careful o

why u run back to uk? why can't u stay more? and i know u stay where u just on tap and water came out, where u have generator supplying u light anytime u wnat it and u have car to cruz arround, u come to enjoy the hard currency u brought from Uk.

You come and stay in my area where there is no light, no water, bad road, where mosqutos are doing competition every night.

If u want to know why people are running to uk. come back to Nigeria, take yr certificate come and look for job here or come and trying doing buz.

Nobody will tell u before u look for money to take the next available flight back to Uk.

I am not a Deeper life member but i like their teaching, if u want to hear undiluted true word of God go to Deeper life. Such a place it will be very hard to find youth there. If u look at pastor Kumuyi is one of the few pastor in our time that has remain steadfast in his teaching. Christianity is an individual and personal relationship with God wherever u go always know that God will not say because u belong to this or that Church that will determine your going to heaven. Read your bible let God talk to u and be convince that God is directing u, if you are living your life base on what pastor say, it will get to a time u will not be able to continue and u will become a pretender or living hypocritical life.

Any winner there? how do u check your status? i have been trying to check using my confirmation number but is not accepting it. i saw that some numbers and letters has to be bold, i did that, but is still not going. please help out.

is it not better to do a dirty job in foreign land and get better value for your pay then to stay in Nigeria doing better job and u r being paid 10k, 15k,20k as a graduate?.

and at the end of the day more than 50% of the money will go for your transportation.

so, what are w saying? the best brain from all the universities are roting a way, so if they get better offer abroad , they should stay abi?

if i get a better offer in abroad even doing dirty job as u say, i prefer it to wasting my time siting down in an office in Nigeria at the end of 30days collecting  50k after 7 years of experience.

No future for common man pikin in this country. if i see any opportunity i will run and keep my certificate and go work with my hand and get paid with hard currency.

Nobody is supporting corruption, money laundering, tax evasion, infact whosoever does all theses should be purnish but what we are saying is that EFFC should not be selective or politically motivated or wait till when someone them for his or her own selfish gain. we have so many companies in Nigeria that are guity of this tax issues. why is at this time when airline operator are protesting against some of government decision that EFFC now remember they are not paying tax or Arik airline just start operation last month?

i see no reason why anybody should pay tax in this country, u r paying tax for some bad bele people to embezzle. Nothing is working in this country no power/electricity,water, education is in crisis, health is in bad situation, no good road , no employment etc

I completely agree with u SKYRANGER, All those CEO has to be punished for deceiving us but the main motive of Sanusi action is not to save the public from loosing thier money and investment. You will agree with me if all these bank CEO are from North or Hausa men, nothing will happen sanusi will not remove them or embarrass them like that. If u look at it very well, how many hausa present or pass governor or person or men have u seen in EFCC net? does that mean that hausa governors or people are saints or they are not mis manage government fund? think about it. Why didn't he wait for audit of all other banks to be completed before announcing them together, does it mean first bank as old it is, does not have non performing loan?. The new set of people coming in now into the affair of all those banks, what assurance do we have that they will not do similar thing while all the regulatory body including CBN goes to sleep again?. Time will tell. I know that we are not a fool in Nigeria.

Our governments are insensitive to the plight of nigeria, that is hw niger deltal problem started when government will not respond to the problem and crying of its people until it get to the stage of kidnaping, bombing oil pipe and so forth.

You have not seen anything as they say an idle man or hand is devil workshop, somebody that has been sitting down at home for the past 2 or 3 month now, and there is no sign of resolving ASUU problem, he will be expose to temptation of involving himself in this kind of act.

My colleaque, why management always treat accounting staff as second citizen in most organisation, after passing through rigor of the hardest courses in the university and the Almight ICAN/ACCA, when u get to the field someone that read BSC in business Admin or may be has MBA will now be yr boss u will be reporting to. And this are the set of people that in the school they dont read as accounting studnent read and they dont even do any major professional courses

some management will even say u are not bringing in money that u r always sit in the office. You will the staff to close late and they will not allow u to enjoy your leave.

At time they make the profeesion not interesting.

Even when you say, you want to have your firm, you can imagine the rediculous amount of fee auditors are charging for the accouniting service compare to what an architect or engineer will charge for his professional fee

i dont know may be this is happening to me only or i have not been lucky to work in a place where these are not happening.

oh boy, i still insist that u face yr study . u don't even have much responsibility in this matter like the girl. live yr life normal, luv her keep yr contact, if she luv u she will wait for u, no matter the time and age on her part. but dont disapont her. she should be d one worry abt u not u worry abt her. her possibly marry at 26 is not too late. so be cool if she love u she will wait for u. whatever happen in the future take it and dont get heart broken. yr study is no 1 now oh boy get serious with yr future and yr carrier and pray to God always. Don't leave her, u have a better chance. Encourage her as much as possible.

there is nothing bad in both of u waiting for each other, u just have to be sincere with each other, call her talk yr mind to her, whatever her response believe her. but what should be paramount in your life now is yr study, work hard to get a good grade out of school. if she love u, age, graduating before u will not be a barrier for you to get marry in future but dont hurry into marrage out of fear, marraige is more than the two factors u r considering (age and graduation). Open yr eye to watch these, has she been anyway proven to u before that, both of u are of the same age ? has she been anyway be proud, when there is little misuderstanding betwenn both of u what is her reaction?.
