I don't know what to do pls.

* I did part time in University of Benin, year session 2013/2014.
*I study BSc in local government administration, it's a dept under public administration.
*I want to know if am eligible for international law and diplomacy or criminology.
*I want to no if am eligible for full time and also the duration of the course and school fee.
*The result has just been released and I graduated with a 2:1,but will be given certificate by November, though I have statement of result already.
*As for the exemption letter, they said it will be ready by December or January.
*With all these I don't no if am still eligible.

yes you are eligible for both course.
MILD is PT and crimminology has both FT and PT.

with your certificate you dont need a transcript anymore. with statement you can apply, but make sure you send in your transcript after admission
yes you can use your exemption discharge from NYSC cert

please apply, exams wil probably be n first week in October, admission by december, where ur documents will actually be required.
your application online is for u to do the exams, nothing more or less, so if u dont do ur due diligence like you are asking now, when u come for registration u will be bounced out.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

i. The programme shall be open to candidate with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering of the University of Lagos or any other approved University.

ii. Candidate may be required to satisfy the Department in a selection process after the general written entrance examination.

As part of the selection process, the candidates may be required to undergo oral interview at the Department after the general written examination.

1. Statement and if successful with admission send your transcript

2. UPLOAD YOUR CERTIFICATE IF YOU HAVE ONE.

I registered and paid at the bank(with the remita no generated),got the payment ref no which I was supposed to use to get into the next page of the registeration,but since 3days now,the site has refused to accept the ref no.
I've been back at the bank and they too are at loss of what next to do.

here is my take.

Many people are worried about the statement and transcript and all that.

please note;

there are 7 stages in unilag pg admission process.
the first stage is called APPLICATION not REGISTRATION.

In Application your transcript and original cert are not necessary, but you must make sure u hve them durng registration, which is after admission during screening. so you can use our statement to apply now knowing fully well your original result or transcript will be tendered in december/jan

helo joy199, the site is still updated with courses, so its not advisable for anyone to apply now, i sugest to wait till friday or monday preferably.

there is diploma certificate in HRM, but in masters level, human relations is called IRPM- iternational relations and personnel management. or the part time neighbor MILR.

The forms is 100% online . You do not need to come to Lagos if you are outside Lagos and you do not need to go to Unilag if you are in Lagos.
Payment is also made ONLINE if you check unilag spgs site

I think first you have to decide what you really want to do, then plan what path will take you there.
As an engineering graduate, there are 2 vital path for you
1. Technical path
2. Management path

if you decide on which you want to pursue then i can line up courses that will lead you to your destination.

if higher or lower it will result to a different value.

so assuming its same s above, then u good to go.

Not as competitive as u will think, but you still need to score above 40 to make the cut.

Hi Kalan, is it true that the full time post graduate program will be extended to 2 years and part time 3 years from next session? I heard it from one of the HOD in unilag. No be dem say o. He said the new NUC regulation has extended the program duration for post graduate programs in Nigeria, starting from next session. Please, confirm and get back to the house

I heard the rumor too, but till they confirm it we cant be very sure. It might take off 2016 session if confirmed.
