with a 3rd class there are many good courses you can run in UNILAG. course like

Msc Environmental toxicology- very good course,
MEM, masters in environmental management-a good one. them
MPE- masters in process engineering,
pgd chemical engineering,
Msc cell biology and genetics and many more,

just dont waste your time with pgde if youre not going into education.

You just want to do masters? that is not a good way to aspire, I advise you KNOW what you want first before you waste your money. At this level, you dont just read anything, you select your choice based on your plans and opportunities.

from what I see, you have not done either of these. That is the best advise you need now. Decode what you want and then I can help you.

First, you're eligible to apply. Mesc Mech is 75k for tuition. its run for averagely 4 times a week, mornings and sometimes goes deep into the day. since you're a corper you need experience. I will suggest you follow thru Mech, check production mgt also. other offers i have are well suited if you have some experience. But Msc Mech is a a good choice.

Did you process your deferment thru the dept?, you must process it thru your HOD, then after submission ou should receive a notification that your deferment has been successful. pls get that before you assumed it ok.

Big time competition. you better be ready.
Unilag is one of the few university which offers marketing at Msc level with FT and PT options, hence a lot of competition. however, the FT is less competitive.

Just be ready to fight for the few available spots. Normally less than 10% are admitted from the total lots that applied. A worried stats, i must confess.

One way to overcome this is early prep, hope ure already doing this.

its a subtle advantage used by first class students to dominate their class from 100L to final year!

dont be baffle my friend. past questions are normal ways to prep for exams. even cbt. CCNA, oracle, and the likes that are even done online has past questions, how people get it is topic for another day. these are past exams for such subjects.

its dangerous to ignore them.

for unilag most of their Pg questions are repeated each year.

Sorry to ans this late. Its quite difficult becos its a total change of career 360 degrees, if I may say. however,
there are many roads to get to the market. so what actually are you looking at, what is your goal?
are you now in HR? you could use your degree for MILR. However, I will advise that we discuss more so as to give a better

Hi Lola, Unilag Spgs informed candidates when the form came out that there wont be MSC for ELectrical IN 2014, just as there was none for Msc Finance, but some candidates still went ahead to apply only to discover the later on when it was late.

The school, did not offer the course last year, but MAY likely do this year, that is why you need to keep taps on their site and also check on me thru my blog if you need any clarification.

Msc EE has 4 options
1. communications
2. control
3. power
4. Electronics

it has FT and PT. FT is 12 months and PT is 24 months.

Fees is N75k for FT and N90k for PT

Dotun, for MILD in Unilag is a professional course and the basic requirement is Bsc degree honours (2:2) and its seems to me you re most qualified. for your Nysc cert you will actually be in need of it by Nov/Dec 2015. so its a Yes/Yes for me.

Jashar, yes you are good to go. Finance with econ is a very good combo, if you know what youre doing. afterwards combine with either ACCA/MBA. you are set for a blossoming career.

3. your money--lol
