mrlarhdesuyi: welcome to the club. Perseverance is the key to this hubris world of programming. here 09056821885, The Muses Struck Me Last two days ago, and i decided to change the look of the if(!IsMobile) look and I was able to also add a feature that bounces the image in the chat window upon POST or Load. I burrowed it from Skype. And another ability for the user to change background of the chat window....another feature stolen from Whatsapp. I am just a confirmed thief....real lazy youth The chat is still lacking file attachment with ajax features, anyway. working on that

Have you ever been in a situation where your form submission using Ajax submits twice into the database? Submitting twice is causing duplicate entries in the database. Somehow i battled this for two hrs and nearly gave up! until i found this >> e.preventDefault(); e.stopImmediatePropagation(); well, i found that this works perfectly See sample

My chat has passed beta stage. Now published.. Beforehand i was putting an Ajax call in a function and use setInterval to execute that function every 5 seconds and append the response in a content div. But then wahala grew tentacles... I learnt that Using setInterval() is not a good idea when continuously polling a URL. If the request takes longer than 2 seconds to complete then you will end up with overlapping requests. Using Using setTimeout(), immediately after the request is done, is a better idea.

Working on an outdoor project? When it comes to the outdoors, each material can have a very different role to play and can react differently when exposed to the elements. Whether you're looking for something sturdy, or something which will never corrode, here's our advice for using metals outdoors: - Mild steel is the most common and least expensive metal but it corrodes quickly if exposed to moisture. To prevent corrosion steel is normally galvanised after cutting and then a decorative powder coat applied – this can be specified for outdoor use. - Aluminium forms a protective Oxide coating when exposed to air which limits corrosion. However, repeated wet / dry cycles can stain the aluminium surface and this is difficult to remove. It's best to protect the surface with either powder coating, or anodising (where the aluminium’s natural sheen can be seen). - Stainless steel is corrosion resistant, not corrosion proof. If using in an outdoor situation, particularly where fumes from traffic are present, you may consider specifying 316 grade Stainless as this is much more resistant to corrosion. - Brass and copper are good but expensive outdoor materials. They don’t tend to corrode but eventually will suffer from patination of the surface - a clear lacquer can be applied which could protect the surface for a long time. for More information on architectural projects you can achieve via laser cutting call 0811-888-8897

Laser cutting gives architects and designers’ creative ideas a whole new dimension – allowing them to create stunning panels for balconies and balustrading. It’s our philosophy that, if you can draw it, the lasers can cut it.
