I can see that you guys need help from a psychiatric doctor. For your information all Yoruba states depend on federal allocations derived from crude oil to survive. If you take away those allocations, there is no Yoruba state that can survive.

In Britain extreme right political parties like Nick Griffin's BNP are openly opposed and hostile to immigrants and have promised to throw out all immigrants  if they win the elections. Such extreme right parties opposed to the presence of immigrants exist in every European country. But people still risk their life to get to these countries. This proves that there is no accomodating group anywhere. Those who migrate do so at their own risk and have to find a way to survive.

That was how Abiola made his money, and that was the first time a contractor was making away with money meant for a contract. Because of that criminality by Abiola nigeria never enjoyed a functional telecommunications system. Fela Kuti also has a song on Abiola's ITT criminality.

Thuggery and Godfatherism that is now killing nigeria was introduced by the Yorubas. Akintola versus Awolowo started thuggery that led to the  killing of thousands of people in the West with all kinds of weapons by hired thugs in the 60's. The incident was then known as "wetie," and it was the first time in nigeria that thugs were used. The violence of that thuggery later contributed to the factors that caused  the Jan. 1966 coup.

The Adelabu's and co introduced godfatherism into nigeria, before Adelabu and his ilk godfatherism was unknown in nigeria.

Rituals nko, The Yorubas have been involved in "Gbomo Gbomo" (kidnapping for rituals) since the  40's. And they pioneered the "Ogboni" cult since the 40's. They have also been  selling human parts in "Jankara" market Lagos since the 50's.

Yakubu Gowon's regime particularly built most of the highways in Lagos.

This same pattern is being replicated in Abuja. You need to visit Abuja recently and see how Abuja has even overtaken Lagos in terms of roads and infrastructure. Three issues to address here. First Yorubas cannot fight a war because cowardice flows in their bloodstream. The Igbos fought a war against the rest of nigeria for 3 years, but when June 12 wahala came all the Yorubas did was to run into exile. Bola Tinubu, Wole Soyinka, Lt general Alani Akinrinade and all the other Yoruba cowards all ran into exile. It was a great opportunity for them to show their fighting skills but they fled like impalas. I also suspect a lot of tribal jealousy here. Because nollywood is an Igbo initiative, some Nigerians are dying of envy. But the Igbo is not stopping any of you from creating your own Yorubawood or Hausawood.

Afterall the Yoruba'a started the film industry through Ogunde which unfortunately could not go very far. If the Igbo have entered the industry and taken it to an international audience, why the jealousy?

Other Africans marvel at Nigerian films, but Nigerians rather than appreciate the effort are blinded by jealousy.

Ghana films are of such bad quality that they are learning and copying from nollywood, yet you would never hear Ghanaians disparaging their films.

There is no African country, not even South Africa that produces movies as good as the one's from nollywood . Nollywood movies are popular all over Africa.

Nollywood is presently the best by African standards, and we should be proud of it, even while we hope the quality improves. It is a learning process.

In London, America, Canada etc people rent and watch nollywood movies. I was in Toronto Canada recently in a Jamaican hair dressing saloon and Jamaicans lined up to borrow nollywood movies. That is how far the movies have gone.

The industry will continue to prosper, and the actors will continue to get richer.

None of you noise making lowlife's here can ever come near any of the actors in fame and recognition. While you are wallowing in frustration the actors have joined the who is who in Nigeria. And many of them have won awards abroad. Peter Edochie was recently given an MON by the Obasanjo administration.
