After all has been said and done, i believe you focused on the symptoms instead of doing a root cause analysis.
The root cause of abuse and evil is actually man's degenerate nature, not religion.
You'd notice that man has also abused and misused virtually every other thing. Even chief of it is money. A whole lot of evil is because of money and the love of it, not just religion.
You can make documentaries and all kinds of videos on the rot in all industries. There's rot in education, in politics, in sports, in law, in military, in government, in music, in health. Did you see the US covid hearings. Man even found loophole in the amendment to use to frustrate the whole thing. Have you seen football rule trying to stop hurtful words and racism. Some people still tried using the law for advantage. That's human depravity. What we call the nature of sin.
