mikkycoins: If wizkid bills 100 million for a show, How much will show organisers spend in organising the show? Social media lies for 9ja don too much
you people don't understand how showbiz run. Most show promoters/organizers don't book artistes with their own money, many of the a-list artistes are ambassadors of many multi-billionaire comapnies, these companies partner with show organizers/promoters in a bid to sell their goods while they tender their ambassadors(the artistes) to perform. So many show promoters/organizers don't pay a dime to a-list artistes for having them on their shows. The brands they represent present them. That's why you always see them seeking sponsors, that's their job. Many a list artistes in Nigeria are ambassador of many companies like glo, pepsi, star larger and the likes. So if you are organizing a show, target the audience, find how any of those brands can earn money through selling of their products, discuss with them and they will give you their ambassador in return. They sign these artistes with good money and on contract, anytime they call on them they must oblige. That's showbiz.
selemempe: as i said...keeping being aggressive...the east already want out....all we need is for u to push yorubas to the wall so they too will want out...once that happens...the rest will be written in history.
Its beyond ur power....u cant stop fulani herdsmen from being aggresssive...u are just a political commentator...so u cant do much to stop the tide...their agression will trigger a response soon from the yorubas...i know this because this is not 1967...everybody don wise up and yorubas now have lagos and oil wont be around much longer too...all we need is for u guys to trigger a response from yoruba...the east will take it from there
you people will just be decieving yourself anyhow here.
Kkb1977: Middle belters should be very careful with this so called politians who are looking for cheap popularity. Igbos and yorubas will never accommodate you. Your only reliable ally is core North. Go back to history. Bewarned.
true though. Can't live with them here in sw to be candid.
ElsonMorali: A respected Yoruba leader may be able to rally the Yorubas because they have a history of throwing their weight behind a leader, but how will that work in the east exactly?
There's no love lost there. The only true leader that could have done this was labeled a coward and a backstabber and is still being cursed and vilified today by children whose parents weren't even born yet during the civil war. Yet all he did was advise them to toe the path of dialog instead of war.
Rest in peace great sage, Obafemi Awolowo. "The best President Nigeria never had".
don't mind them, awo saw the north have numbers and he sure knows they will suppress and oppress the rest of us which was why he added the secession clause so everyone can go away easily incase things don't go well, azikiwe removed it because of his greedines. Now they are the ones suffering the oppression and suppression. Awolowo tried all his best to save them but they didn't save themselve.
zeromeridian: this people have started realising that the only and true ally they have is the SE/SS God bless Mazi Nnamdi Kanu very soon Yoruba Christians will realize the truth
No doubt, he is one of the best and humble player on and off the pitch but should be very careful when dealing with football associations.
Football associations can make or break a player or official and no one is above their laws and punishments. Ask Sepp Blater and Bility
South American football is the most rugged worldwide and both the players and officials don't take nonsense.
Though, Ronaldo fans right now........
he should keep mute and watch them rub shit on his face. F**k those useless conmebel or whatever. Undeserved red card was issued to him instead of them investigating, they kept mute untill he blasted them. Nonsense and south america.
Messi should have played for Spain. They are frustrating him unnecessarily in that useless America. When he was supposed to win the world cup, Higuan said no. When he was supposed to win copa, his own spirit said no, now cowbell or whatever they call themselves are at it. Europe is everything in football jare.
if there's a word more than satanic to represent pdp with, it will be so great. Infact i think words like evil, satanic should be erased and pdp used instead. Like instead of saying 'devil is evil', just say, 'devil is pdp'.
Google+ is really a failure abinitio. Interface/tl been looking so boring. The design isn't captivating and really not that simple for middle class and begginers computer users. It's really not worth it. I know nothing about the rest.
Benblaq: Hello Nairalanders, Hope you all are having a good day.
I'm about to share my little problem with you, I'd love to get mature response.
I'm a student in a tertiary institution located in Cross River state, but I base in PH.
Last month when I was about coming home for the first semester break, my school mate gave me a package to deliver to his girlfriend who lives here too.
Fast forward to when we met in PH, she came over to get it and in the process of discussing and casual playing, we ended up hugging and kissing.
It ended on an agreement note that her guy shouldn't hear of it. As a matter of fact, we agreed to say we met at the junction.
I thought it had ended and i took my mind off it, only for my guy to start calling me, threatening fire and brimstone.
What happened?
I called the babe and she told me her conscience was heavy, she had to tell him. Now all my guys are against me. The problem is that i don't know how I'm going to face my friends when I resume school. I now look like a Judas. What steps can i take to ease the tension?
you fell in the hand of a woman. You are more of a judas you are another Samson. Pathetic
After reading this balderdash, I am tempted to call this infamous critic a coward but I will muster the remaining strength in me left unsapped by Mama Ramotu to refrain from doing so.
Ogbeni, the moral of the story and the crux of the outrage is not in you being stopped by Fulani vigilante but in the existence of Fulani vigilante in a land outside theirs in a country that has vehemently opposed the existence of state policing and one that has championed the disarming of other vigilantes in the South.
The Yoruba community in Aberdeen do not have a vigilante, the Igbo community in Dallas do not have a special force neither do the Esans in Palermo have a police to checkmate the excesses of their kinsmen. It is the sole responsibility of the host community to defend and protect the integrity of their sovereignty.
The existence of armed Fulani Vigilantes in Yoruba land is ludicrously absurb, downrightly insulting and completely repulsive to the senses of anyone who understands the dynamics of a very ethinically-divided country like Nigeria.
Why will they be allowed to carry guns, when the vigilante in Ogbunike were asked to submit all rifles, while the ones at Aviele use just machetes?
We must not be tempted to think this will help in unifying the country or curbing the menace of killer Fulani herdsmen. It is a subtle surrender of liberty, and a semi recolonization.
All NwaAmaikpe will advice our Yoruba leaders is;
"If Ukpaka employs his barber to be shaving his wife's pubic hair, he should not complain when his next baby looks like his barber".
Ambode is a goner. He is so gone with the wind of anger of Tinubu. He could have fought and won in any other state buh not Lagos. I feel sorry for him.
kolafolabi: Sunday Dare from Oyo State. Thought its gonna be Ajimobi or Adelabu
ajimobi yaff killed himself as far as apc is concerned in oyo state. If he doesn't play well now to make up for his mistakes, he might get lost in the wilderness of confusion and payback. I'd thought senator Akanbi sha buh i don't even know if he is still a senator or former.
GistMore11: Nyasa Big Bullets’ striker, Hassan Kajoke, receives a live chicken from a fan after scoring a brace against Karonga United, on Sunday, in Malawi.
