Hello everyone, Let me share a short true story – and a confession. The confession first: I am a Kedi distributor. But to be honest, I was a latent one. Docile. Not serious. I never stocked products. I just knew a service center where I could source them if I wanted to. But I never really pushed or believed. Then reality hit. My mother is a former pharmacist (trained in West Germany) and also a Kedi distributor. She knows her stuff. But a while back, she traveled from Imo state to visit me in Ogun state. While here, she had two problems: Constipation – really hard stool, couldn't go for days. Malaria symptoms – body weak, feverish. Worst part? She had no money on her at the time. So she was suffering in silence, using some Chinese herbal teas that didn't really solve the problem. Then a good samaritan gave us some money. I gave my mum her share. You know what she did first? She didn't buy food or painkillers. She sent me to buy Kedi Colon Cleanser tea and Kedi Antimalaria tablets. I went to the service center and got them. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much – that's how docile I was. She took the Colon Cleanser tea, relaxed for a few hours, and then… she pooped out all the hard stool that had been troubling her. The relief was instant. After that, she was fine. No more complaints. She's 73 (soon 74) and mildly hypertensive. The tea worked perfectly for her with no side effects. That was my wake-up call. I realized I had been sleeping on products that could actually help people – especially the elderly suffering from constipation. That's when it hit me: How many elderly parents out there are struggling like my mother was? Too embarrassed to talk about it? Using laxatives that don't work or cause cramps? If you have an elderly parent or relative suffering from stubborn constipation, don't let them suffer. Don't be as docile as I was. What I recommend (based on my mum's experience): Kedi Constilease – for gentle, effective constipation relief (ideal for elderly) Kedi Colon Cleanser tea – deeper colon cleanse, flushes out hard, impacted stool Kedi Antimalaria tablet – for when malaria symptoms are also present Prices (product only): Kedi Constilease – ₦27,000 Kedi Colon Cleanser tea – ₦18,000 Kedi Qinghao Antimalaria tablets – ₦9,000 🚚 Delivery policy: Delivery fee is separate from product prices. Buyer pays delivery. I am in Ogun state. Contact me with your location, and I will tell you the exact delivery cost before you pay anything. No hidden charges. ⚠️ Medical disclaimer: This is my 73-year-old mother's personal experience. She is mildly hypertensive and used Kedi Colon Cleanser tea and Kedi Antimalaria without any negative reaction. However, every body is different. If your elderly parent has high blood pressure, diabetes, heart issues, kidney/liver disease, or takes regular medication, please consult a doctor before using any herbal product. I am a seller, not a medical professional. What worked for my mum may not work for everyone. Your parent's safety comes first. By placing an order, you confirm that you have sought or will seek appropriate medical advice. 📞 Call or WhatsApp me: [07035441854] Don't let your parent go through what my mother went through. One cup of tea can change everything. I learned my lesson the hard way. You don't have to. Tobe Ekechukwu |

I have been reading the posts on this thread on the banning of cryptocurrencies by the government and have been wondering and asking myself why people make the comments they make on the subject of cryptocurrencies someone even mentioned that bitcoin was a Ponzi scheme and I am utterly shocked about this statement. Now, Blockchain technology has been there for a while even before bitcoin but it was Satoshi Nakamoto, hope I got the name right, that brought it into the limelight by improving it. He began work on it by 2007 but by the time the global financial crisis hit he went from conducting an experiment to building a whole new technology that was intent on disrupting the corruption of governments worldwide. He needed a decentralized system, more like a peer to peer thing that could force accountability of governments. Have you ever wondered why it is hard to fight content piracy? Simple. Torrents. A peer to peer technology that shares content worldwide. Bringing down a few servers won't stop torrent because its a peer to peer thing. I some, you have some content, they have some content then you bring together to form a whole new file. This is the same system that bitcoin is using. A peer to peer system consisting of miners, wallets sometimes miners that also serve as wallets. The government is talking about anonymity but have people have thought that bitcoin can force governments into accountability. Have you? It's true. If the government claims to have spent money on so and so. How can we trust them? Is what they are saying true? Did you that in addition to being encrypted, bitcoin is also an open ledger system? Instead of telling how much is the federal reserve, they can show a crypto address and we will see if they are honest or not? Did you know? If blockchain technology is used the way it is meant to be used governors' corruption would be so reduced. They should stop talking about criminals using it to finance crime. If you don't know anything about Bitcoin. Read up https://bitcoin.org/en/. I had to add it for people who call it a Ponzi scheme. If after reading you want to own a mobile or laptop wallet that has no need for Bank Verification, ID verification and you want to experiment by holding a few tiny bitcoin just download https://wallet.bitcoin.com. You can hold up to 100 BTC if you can and nobody will know if you do your due diligence. If you own a website or an online store on Wix, Shopify, WHMCS, WordPress, woo-commerce you can connect your bitcoin address on your wallet to this website http:///3rGKBWH also with no verification whatsoever. You pay only 1 percent per transaction and it is you that must ensure that you pay it or the payment process would stop. They don't collect your money by force. Guys, bitcoin is an interesting payment system, it will force corrupt governments to wake up. The government is only angry that they can't tax you on crypto. As a matter of fact, their drivers might even be millionaires without their knowing it. Just pray to keep your coins and don't get hacked. That's all. |
Hello Nairalanders, I must say I have been scammed a few times when it came to bitcoin mining before I stumbled on some genuine companies and paid for mining contracts. Most times I had to use BTC to signup. Presently, I discovered most mining companies now use https://payeer.com/012480163 as a payment option. You deposit dollars using naira mastercard to your Payeer USD account. Payeer has a fiat currency wallet and cryptocurrency wallet. The fiat currency is denominated in USD, RUB and EUR. Whenever a payment is requested, Payeer asks you which wallet or currency you want to pay with. If you have a dollar payment to make and you have EUR in your wallet, you could choose Euro to make the payment and payeer would highlight your exchange fees and if you have sufficient EUR to make the payment then the payment would be made. The same would also apply for RUB in your account. But what if I told you I stumbled on a site that could give you 1 RUB a day for free without paying anything and that it would be paid to your Payeer account instantly just on the click of a withdraw button. Now don't be EXCITED at all because one 1 Russian ruble is only 4.75 naira and it is paid to your player account. I saw this and decided to upgrade with 780 naira or thereabout and forgot about it. I was shown that my daily ruble would be 12.29 a day. Now 79 rubles make one dollar. I guess I would upgrade more and accumulate it in my payeer account and whenever I see a website that accepts payeer I would use it. Besides making payments is just about choosing a wallet and a conversion is made before final payment. Below are the screenshots. I will offer the affiliate links. https://mining-rub.site/?ref=322555 For the Russian ruble site. If you don't have a payeer account. You could sign up here. https://payeer.com/012480163

The monkey just apologized on Instagram. He thought he was going to get praises like he got in his classroom only for him to find out that when it comes to society it's a different ball game.

Yes. It is true. MTN has stopped free night calls. I am writing on saturday the 19th of march but as of tuesday, i guess, I spoke with my cousin using night calls, two days later which should be thursday. I had about 250 naira air time with me, so we talked again on an important issue on the phone and this was 1.00 am. As we on the phone, got the message "You have 1 minute remaining" I shouted YEPA!! I called 180 and they said happy hour midnight calls had been discontinued. I then decided to call Glo customer care to inquire if i could still use their free midnight call and they said they had also discontinued free midnight calls. So there you have it. |
Yes. It is true. MTN |
Why can't it have Lollilop out-of-the-box? Why do they have to load the new phone up with kitkat all over again? |
I just couldn't help laughing at all the comments. It has been simply hilarious reading your suggestions, questions, criticisms, antagonisms and any other 'isms' you guys have been dishing out here. To tell you the truth, you make more where your passions and callings lie in. If you are called to selling clothes, you would excel or if you are passionate about web design you would excel as well. I am more into front end web development as a self employed free lancer which means i use HTML5, CSS3, JS, JQUERY libraries or any appropriate libraries as well as their plugins. I also do use Content Management Systems of which i now seem to love Wordpress. Another thing is that i do go to envato to buy wordpress themes, plugins and i also use web templates often to cut production time. Now, here is the thing. Let me help you here. For every web design project you consider the following: The purpose of the website The domain name to be used The hosting that would be used Is it going to be custom design, wordpress theme or web template If you need web applications to achieve specific purposes, is it going to be a jquery and/or wordpress plugin or server side coding from a developer who you would pay. How would you ensure that you market the website online via search engines and many other factors that would come into play as the project unfolds. Now what you don't see is that for every web design client you get you will definitely have some residual income if you are smart. Here is how it works. You go for a Domain Reseller account where domain names are sold at discounted prices e.g. .com going for $6 while you can sell for $9 per year. Of course you may convert it to naira. Just load bulk amounts say like $200 into the account. You then go for a reseller hosting account, it may just be only for your web design clients. Some go for about $30 a month for shared hosting. You could also resell SSL certificates for secure pages on the site to the client. What you do is this. After you get to know what the clients business is all about and his business model. You go home and plan how a website could meet this need, now don't forget that websites are just a fraction of a whole concept known as online marketing which involves building mailing lists for email marketing, social media marketing, search engine optimization/marketing e.t.c. Later you may go on and build a proposal first. As you progress your quote would look something like this: Domain Name for a year 2,500 Web Hosting (12 months) 24,000 SSL certificate 1800 Copywriting (based on what the person who handles it charged) Payment gateway integration etc If the client doesn't mind you hosting his website then you have a residual income of hosting and domain name to rely on. This means that if you generate 40 web design clients this year and you provide them with consulting, hosting, domain name registration. Using the example above, you would get the following from each client about 29,000 naira each. Do the math. 29,000 by 40. Of course they would be spaced across the 12 months. As you partner with other developers, graphic designers, coders, copywriters, you would find where to outsource different aspects of the work. Now that is for web design/development services. As for the selling of clothes in Lagos... em em em urghhh, ummm, maybe, wellllll, just might, you see....... Can someone help me. |

BigBashiru:You talking. Are you rapture ready? Do you tell lies? have impure thoughts, pornography, honesty with money issues. Are you lazy and fearful? Are you hateful and judgmental? All these can hinder you from the rapture. Take heed lest you fall. |
I am putting up my website soon. I have been guilty of this too. Early last year, i was asked to show my previous works. You can't believe that i only texted him six websites for him to go through only for him to invite me to his office the next day. I was like What!!?? I came to the office and discovered they were into HSE safety industry. I was awed, you mean no resume or application for anything? I got their attention. Anyway, someone gave him my number. Now just imagine if you had a portfolio. That would be awesome. Just out there market your services with your business cards, they snubb you and call you names. Then they check your portfolio and discover that you actually know what you are doing. Just imagine the benefits... Arghhhh!!!!!! I still haven't done mine. mtchew!! |
Now easy there with the criticisms. Okay? Let me say somethings about the Infinix zero which i would like you to understand. I lost my smartphone at a bus stop location, Oshodi to be precise, to pick pockets sometime in August only for me to stumble on an infinix ad on my timeline. It was the Zero phone. It looked sleek and seemed to have promise. Now for your information, the phone i lost was the infinix race bolt. Guess you remember. The phone some guys said got as hot as a pressing iron, remember? On seeing this phone i decided to go for yet another one which was this zero. So i pre ordered and when and got the phone on the 5th of september. It looked cool to me. Most especially when i got to know that it was going to run on android 4.4.2 (kitkat). Now infinix is only trying to help people enjoy the benefits of mobile technology at an earlier time in life. Just give the company a chance. If you can just tell yourself the truth you'll find out that this company has vision. Hey, they began in 2012. My racebolt OEM was from a company called Alps. Today, the zero is from an OEM called Infinix. Which means they are good. Now, back to the zero. There are some issues that have been discussed from the page 42, i guess, to this page of which some people talked about of which i would help throw more light. These are: 1 Micro SIM tray Let's tell ourselves the truth, how many of we nairalanders have used a phone with a MicroSIM tray? Now before we all go shouting, i use a samsung or apple or whatever, I want you guys to know that there are people who have never used one of which Infinix is trying expose this to us. Another problem is this. If you have never used a micro SIM tray before what makes you think that you would use it properly. Mind you, all the MicroSim trays i have seen are only single SIM but this is one is double. This means that the tray would be longer and most likely be prone to breakages if not handled properly. When i recovered my MTN SIM, i discovered it had been pre-cut for either Mini SIM or MicroSIM so i could just peel out the microSIM part of the SIM and put it in the zero and it entered snugly, no problems. But when i went to recover my Etisalat line, i told them i wanted to a MicroSIM of which a SIM cutter of some sort was used. Now, by the time i put it into the SIM tray i noticed it became stiff. On removing the card, i flattened the edges of the SIM and that was it. The tray went in just as if there were no SIMs on it. My etisalat data connection wasn't working and i thought it was SIM1 3g SIM2 2g but i was wrong but sides had the capability of 3g they could be swapped just by choosing the right settings. So i went to etisalat office and they rectified the problem on the network, it wasn't the zero, it was the network. So ensure that the micro SIM edges are smooth. That's all. It will go in smoothly. Another thing, choose the networks you want to use on the phone finally. Opening and closing sim trays is risky, most especially double sim like this one. 2. Gorilla Glass One of the hypes that got people salivating was Corning Gorilla Glass 3. They said no scratches. As a matter of fact, a video was posted on you tube showing someone using a key to scratch the glass to prove the ad right. I just couldn't help laughing. If you ask me, that wasn't necessary. What i have noticed is that people seemed to have let their guard down when they heard this. This is say to we can all throw our phones around anyhow, after all it is corning gorilla glass 3. This is mentality is wrong. You should take care of your Zero with the same amount of care you would any phone so that when it drops by accident it would be there for you (mind you my phone fell from my breast pocket to a tiled floor and its still there no problems). 3. Etisalat data bonus This bonus is quite misleading if you ask me. It said free 500mb monthly. But when you get the pack, it would tell that only the first month is free and that the 2nd to the 12th month would require a monthly subscription of 2000 naira 500mb to get the 500 mb monthly data. I am using the first mont which indeed is free. 4. Battery life If there is anything that baffles me is when some leaves data connection on all throughout the day, then plays games, watches videos, social media, browsing, downloading which is pretty much what the youth do with phones these days, and then expect 10 more hours on charge on a low midrange phone. It doesn't make sense. The zero isn't as bad as you think. Firstly, get a powerbank. Secondly, to last longer on your phone do these: -Your display should be set to the lowest. You might be suprised at how clear it would still be. -Switch off your data connection when you are not using it. If you must be on at all times for social media notifications, switch to 2g data connection. -Whenever you have finished using the phone, switch off the screen. 5. The difference between my former racebolt and this zero. -the racebolt cost me 26500 naira while my zero cost me 20,900 -the google play services could not run on my racebolt but the google play services was already pre installed and i updated it. -bolt was 4.0.4 Zero was 4.4.2 -bolt didn't have other OTA, Zero is promising OTA. -bolt was 1700maH, Zero is 1920maH If your phone has a factory fault or goes bad for no fault of your own. the Zero is under 12months warranty. Just use the carl care app on your phone to locate the nearest center to you. i am just loving the phone. Here's the screenshot of my Home screen:

At the Early stages of world wide web it was just web design because it was just HTML you needed to learn to become a web designer. Right now, it's a whole new ball game entirely. We have seen the progress so far. It was HTML, Java applets,CSS, livescript (which later became javascript), right now, we have javascript libraries and so forth. Server-side languages were even gaining popularity from PERL, asp to asp.net, PHP etc. As time went by web design wasn't an absolute service but rather a sub section of a higher service which is web development. This meant in effect that web design became a front end thing and web development became a backend thing. However web design has so evolved right now that we now have other fields in it. For example we have UX designers which has to do with User Experiences whenever a site is visited, this has nothing totally to do with coding at all. Although many of them do possess that knowledge. Then we have the web designer who more often than not can code HTML, CSS, Javascript, SASS etc but deals mainly on building graphic mockups. We now have front end developers who are strictly coders in HTML CSS javascript, SASS as well have a thorough understanding of using web templates, frameworks such as foundation or bootstrap as well using content management systems (CMS). Right now web development in Nigeria can be very lucrative as the demand for the services are very high but people especially small business owners are a bit reluctant to hire web developers for their services and you can't blame them. When the world wide web became accessible in Nigeria, several businesses were exploited because it was all about having a website or web presence and not about a web presence that could bring you new business. Most people came in and charged as much as 2 million naira for web sites that didn't even attract up to a thousand followers because web technology or computer technology seemed relatively new so if they found anyone who could as much as put up a website, he would be patronized. To add to that it seemed that most people who offered web design services were undisciplined and didn't live up to expectation. Sometimes you could link to a scrappy website from a search engine while other times you never saw world class websites designed by nigerians in nigeria unless you saw a tv advert or business card. Don't be fooled by any arrogant person who wants to discourage you concerning web development in Nigeria now. In the past, it was all about desktop computers when it came to accessing the web. Today we have laptops, phones, smartphones, tablets, video games with internet access, smart TVs, etc that all have web browsers. All you have to do is learn web design and development. Now is the time to start web design and development here in Nigeria. First of all if you are fresh in web design. Forget about learning HTML4, or xhtml. Just start with HTML5 and CSS3, as you practice you will find out about polyfills and shims which will help build websites compatible for older browsers like IE6. You may be wondering why should you learn these things when you have CMSs like joomla or wordpress. The truth is that sometimes the result might not come out the way you want it and you could get stuck. But if you have these skill sets, you will understand what file should be modified to give you the expected result. Finally, i go on and on talking but let me stop by saying that you should get started if you are unemployed and want to get to get busy, take my word on this. Forget the naysayers, in this time, with hard work and diligence you will make a living out of it and even land into other big things. Let me stop here. |
hotwax: funnny. I organized a recruitment process for my company. I requested for programmers. But many php/web/zend developers applied. I didn't want them though. I wanted Java, .Net , Csharp developers. I just called them, may be we can manage them. I was surprised based on what I saw. Most of them just download template and edit it. I gave them programming work. Code from scratch. Only one out of 8 candidate was able to do it. Nigeria technology has no future if we don't have real programmers. Template editors won't take us anywherre. Now, what you need to need to know is that web programmers (Java, .Net, Csharp) can never be designers. Web design is an aspect of web development which involves understanding of, not just graphic applications, but also understanding UX (User Experience) which is part of Information Architecture. Information Architecture has to do with understanding the goals that would be accomplished when the site is finally online. This has to do with the theme, colors as well as how the information can made readily available for the site visitor's viewing. Before it is finally built as graphic template. Now the designer will now slice up the images and prepare the HTML/CSS needed for the design he has created. Now, take note that the designer might not know HTML/CSS efficiently so he could still pass on the work to a Front end developer. The web programmer's job will now commence when it comes to adding functionality to that site. For example, a Java developer may implement a JSP application that could integrate with an Oracle database for easy pagination of information to be viewed by online visitors. A .Net or Csharp developer might develop an eCommerce system for an online business and so forth. So when building a programming career, most of the times, designing is not part of the system rather its about functionality. If you get a professional web designer, you get UX/UI designer. If you get a web programmer, you get one who is confident in coding and not colors. A full web development project involves a copy/content writer, a web designer, a photographer with the added advantage of using photo/graphic software, a web developer or programmer and sometimes a database developer with the added advantage of database administration to aid in the development of a database that would help in achieving a website's data storage and retrieval goals. Big global companies have a whole department dedicated to this. Its no mean feat. Finally, another thing is this. In Nigeria, when you have openings for job positions, anyone is ready to claim anything to acquire everything. In other words, if you say you are looking for so-and-so skills in the job market, you must be very careful. Because, by the time you interview applicants, you would be shocked at the person you are interviewing. People sometimes believe that there may be in-house training for the skills you are looking for. This is Nigerians for you. No passion, just Salary Mentality |
kiss2Tell: I really appreciate intellectual efforts and, ordinarily, I won't try to degrade such but my challenge is that I don't know the difference between a website done with some ready made packages (jimdo, wix, HTML,) and those done by writing scripts. I don't even know the meaning of what I just wrote. So how do I ensure that the guy billing me for writing codes is not using jimdo or wix.com to design my website for me?Now here is what you need to find out. When you tell him you need a website, does he just take your materials and go without asking you any questions? Or does he show keen interest in what you do as a person or business so that he can discuss with you the best online marketing approach to your business before moving on to the next phase? If he doesn't sit with you and involve you in the process it is highly likely that he may be using a wix or special design website, because he is more interested in showing off skills than integrating your business with the World Wide Web. Here is the thing with these platforms. You may want to develop something unique to achieve your online goals, if the platform does not have it, the developer may become stranded. That's why some businesses tell they offer web solutions because your website is built to solve business problems be it marketing, selling, customer relationship, surveys and polls etc. Now if your designer tells you your site is www.yourbusiness.wix.com. Now that is a sure sign that its a wix website with no money commited to it. Normally, your designer should present to you a JPG or PDF file giving an idea of how the site would be arranged or look like. Now i am not sure wix offers graphic files of the sites they sell. If a web professional uses a template to market your business online, most times you would never know because it is customized from the graphic file before slicing of the image is done as well as the html coding of the site. He would understood your business and probably taken your content to someone who is good with copy writting. This is the preparation of site content from your marketing materials as well as the from the dialogues he or she has had with you. Another thing, try to find out if he's working alone or as part of a team. Maybe he outsources his work to others that why the cost may be high. |
Now, this is quite an interesting topic and i think i can relate with all the HTML/CSS front end developers as well as graphic designers. Well, you see your clients will only treat you the way you present yourself. When you sound desperate, they treat you cheaply. Lets say for example, you are quoting 120k for a project, then the prospect (mark you there is a difference between a prospect and a client) tells you he can't go above say, 40k. What you should do is either tell him what quality of work he will get with his own price. You may say something like. "At this rate, i can provide you with nothing more than 8 pages only, your company's portfolio will only have a list of works as opposed to having a quality picture gallery and finally your company will be responsible for handling your hosting and domain name registration." Or you could politely turn down the work because if he doesn't appreciate you now, during the project. Its going to be hell. I am just starting out web design and web development and i am having challenges in raising a good development team. Web development is not dead in Nigeria, its just the way we present it. Here are some issues we have: 1. We want to do everything ourselves. No we don't want to hire a quality photographer, we don't wan't to sub contract to someone who is good with server side scripting. 2. We don't submit proposal to show our prospects that we know what they need. The prospect sometimes can change his perception about you after reading your proposal. 3. We believe in skills and not presentation. We think like an employee when you are supposed to be a CEO. Look, if you are working for an organisation, you may dress any how, you may even look shabby but as far your employers have the money to pay you for doing your work you will remain there until they decide to fire you. What you actually care less about is that there are people in management positions who dress very well, not to impress women, but to look professional enough to get contracts/jobs which the company would profit from so that they can pay you your monthly salary. Now you are running a freelancing business, a small business, trying looking neat and professional. There is nothing wrong with having gadgets with you. I am telling you this. When you do this, I promise you will get big jobs. As i said earlier, i am just starting, and by the grace of God i will make it. I also sometimes use templates, but here is the thing. If the PSD is suited for clients business with all the content, it won't matter. They won't ask. The key thing is that it must bring in emails and phone calls from their kind of contractors. Here is a site from a client [url]i charged 221k for.www.bhiveconsults.com Just put these three things above into consideration and things will change with time. |
My oh My! I bought the race bolt just two weeks ago and yet it hasn't gone hot talk more of heating up like a pressing iron. If it did, it should have burned the white pouch that came with it. I can manage this until i am comfortable spending 85,000 naira or more on a phone. Here are my observations. 1. It doesn't play 1080 HD videos. 2. The main rear view camera is not as good as samsung's. you could call it 5MP camera. But then the camera is alright. 3. The facebook android app is superb for the screen. 4. The GPS functions are satisfactory but not really perfect. This phone is okay, at least for those who have not gotten a smart phone experience. You should go for it instead of a 20k Blackberry. Its alright. The camera is satisfactory. I even installed skype on it and made video calls perfectly. no problems. Please, if you feel that the phone is not up to your taste, then go for a high end android phone that suits you and stop claiming that you are used to big phones. Okay. |
Dimeji1976: I have a battery issue about race bolt too, but after I took it to carlcare, the battery is superb now after they updated the software. Now that's the spirit!!! When you see something is wrong with your device, no matter what it is, as long as it came with some warranty card or the other, just take it to the customer care and it will be fixed. Unless you rooted the device, which of course voids the warranty you should be attended to. thats it. |
With every manufacturer and their product, there always will be times when things may not work as planned. It was their best intentions to load as much features as they could into a 25k phone but somehow maybe something went wrong. Let's not forget that some people watch movies as long as 3hours, play games 1 hour, surf the web etc and still expect 12 hours battery left without even charging. Now that sounds incredulous. If your phone is heating up why not go back to customer care and find out if it could be replaced or fixed, of course that is if bought from a genuine dealer and not by the road side. They should attend to you. In my opinion, i believe the phone is probable defective and needs replacement, fixing or upgrading. I mean, they should attend to you, if only you could go back to them and explain your plight. Don't give up on your country. Infinix meant well. As for those who went ahead to buy another phone without visiting carlcare customer service, don't give up yet, visit the center so that they fix up the issue. If you don't want to, don't throw it away. You still have a mobile pressing iron. Don't you think? Infinix android mobile pressing irons. |
Do you own the old MTN fast link modem which is the ZTE MF626 but can't use it on windows 7 because of lack of drivers? Well, your problems are finally over. I have gotten the drivers which will not only allow you to use the 3.5G modem but will also allow you to use your micro SD card on the device. Believe me when i say i know what you may be passing through owning the device and can't use it. You may have tried going to MTN offices, MTN websites, searched the whole internet for downloads but can't find a solution. Everybody is talking about huawei modems and what you have is a stupid ZTE modem that is not working because you use windows 7. Believe me, I know. MTN doesn't sell this model of modems any more but they are very much around. Most especially around people who still use Windows XP as an operating system. You may have gotten yours from a friend or relative who is frustrated with it and doesn't know what to do with it since he or she has finally gotten a windows 7 computer. Well, help has arrived. I use windows 7 on my laptop and someone gave me his old MF626 modem which he claims doesn't work. Well, if you have one of these modems, try using them with short USB extendable cable and they will work. For the device drivers, I finally have the device drivers that works with windows 7 and to my shock, if i put in a micro SD card in the modem, it detects it and the modem can work as a storage device or flash but i don't use it for such purposes. For those that may have tried to install the ZTE MF626 modem on windows 7 without luck, this is what you do. Firstly, uninstall the MTN fast link connection software from the modem then restart your computer. Secondly, re-install the MTN fast link software embedded in the modem. Then, run extractable windows software I will send to you. The windows 7 operating system may display a message that it did not install properly. Open your connection manager and watch as the blue light of the modem (for 3G and 3.5G) or green light (for EDGE) begins to show. Then that's it. It's working. Remember, the problem most times is the USB connector of the modem may not work directly with your laptop. I don't know why it happens with most of the MF626 modems i have seen. Use a USB extender cable. To get the windows 7 drivers, give me a call so we can talk so i can send it to you as an email attachment. I live in Redemption camp, lagos - ibadan expressway. If you are around, I don't mind coming to meet you. My number is 07035441854 Thank you. |
