“Our business concept is going to change. Now instead of being 100 per cent Dangote-owned, we’ll have other partners,” he said. Within the next year, he noted that the refining business will list 5 – 10 per cent of its shares on the Nigerian stock exchange. “We don’t want to keep more than 65-70 per cent,” Dangote said, explaining that shares will be offered incrementally subject to investor appetite and market depth..."Raider76: Dangote to double refinery capacity to 1.4 mbpd

Probability of a 'poor result' or the bolded is emphatically low Similarly it's always good to do your DD before the general market disclosures. That gives you an edge... talk2me2: If the result is not very good you might get it at 1k.
It is always good to finish your dd before investing the market is not running away |

Is all this related to the Q3? ProphetUtuocha: Revelation on Oando ====≈==============
Thus says the Spirit:
The oil flame that flickers low shall soon blaze again. For many look and see only dust upon the altar of Oando, yet within that dust lies hidden fire, fire that shall not die.
The current price, though humbled and low, is not the end but the seed, buried to rise anew. The wise shall see that what appears forgotten is but resting before a mighty awakening.
Therefore, let those with eyes to discern and hands ready to gather not delay their portion. For this season of low valuation is a gate that shall not remain open long. Soon, the market shall remember Oando, and what was sold cheaply shall be sought dearly.
May the wise accumulate while others hesitate. For this window, once shut, may never open again. |

Every mallam to his kettle... unite4real: Is this how you really do valuation? What happens to Price earning ratio and other metrics. I expect Okomu to go the way of presco since they have enough cash. I cannot see okomu showing ambitions. If not, presco will continue to trade above Okomu by about 50% and more.
Do not make the mistake to sell your Presco. Think long term. If you have your okomu, also hold it but keep more eyes on Presco |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 11:12am On Oct 18, 2025 |
PRESCO beats OKOMU in total DV but I can understand your perspective of frequent DV payments jonnysessy: Yes am aware. I used to believe Presco is a bigger and better palm oil producer. But, the way Okomu used to churn out dividend, I am beginning to have a re-think. The share price is even cheaper than Presco. I may have to convert my Presco to Okomu to get more dividend. Okomu doesn't waste time in releasing results. Presco will release results and it will take them months before they make payment |

Yeah. IF they can make a Q3 PAT of +₦70bn, I expect final DV of +₦100. OKOMU should be able to fork out ₦50 final DV emmanuelewumi: Presco will be paying an interim dividend of N20 in November 2025 |

Thanks for the clarification. I am a subsistence farmer with few birds... Payunsin: If you are still using finished feed at this period, you are on a long thing. That's why I specifically mentioned formulated feed. It is difficult for branded feed to reduce prices because they have stored materials at high cost thinking price of materials will go up as usual but God has other plans. Find a good concentrate, formulate your feed and thank me later |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 1:35pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
Which brand are you referring to? 1 bag of TopFeed only reduced by 1200 in that time frame Payunsin: Important information to all Nigerian men. A bag of layers formulated feed that was about N17,500 8months ago is now less than N11,000. Na Wetin fowl dey chop, man dey chop Wise up make your wifeys no dey carry you goal, goal. |
