Let me interpretate this: Whenever you hear that the ₦4tn has been approved, expect a rally in the power equities: TRANSPOWER and probably GEREGU. TRANSCORP will also enjoy from the rally. Every mallam to his kettle...robobo: I guess you wanted to qoute 430 billion. check the notes in 11.1 (extract below) the bulk of the loan relates to Transpower (a subsidiary) which should benefit from the impending settlement of over 4 trillion power debt waiting to be securitised (via bond) by the FG
"A significant portion of the trade receivable relates to receivable from the NigerianBulkElectricityTradingPlcwhich is the regulatory body for the power business in Nigeria." |

When we get to the junctions , we will do another review.

Since this AGM notice was published,I have been searching for the bolded. Access Bank released something similar in 2022 that pointed to these their acquisitions... Sunrisepebble: I thought same but line 18:
To consider, and if thought fit pass the following as ordinary resolutions 18. That the Board of Directors is duly authorized to invest in and acquire directly or through its subsidiaries all or majority of the shares or assets of a company or companies in the same line of business as Presco Plc as determined by the Board of Directors pursuant to the Business Expansion Programme. |

The profit from WILMAR was not shared with PZ Cussons Nigeria. So I technically think it's still same value as before Valthegreat: Please has anyone been able to check what is left of PZ Nigeria after offloading the Agri business part of the group. Can the remaining soaps and toot paste be able to still deliver good value to shareholders?
For me I think the Devon King part of the business should be the major revenue spinner. What do I know sef? Abeg the ogas here what do you think? |
