The whole convo was hilarious and depressing at the same time because the operator kept aksing 'if you knew you couldnt pay back, why did you get the card", lol she didnt even care that the woman was bawling on the phone.

Good thing that while growing up anytime a credit card application came in the mail for any of us, my parents esp my dad would just cut it up right in front of our faces, cut up the cards, the applications, anything like that. Such a shame that people get themselves into such a mess

We have these friends here in the USA that live in a mansion literally.
My hubby and I were shocked when the man called and asked to borrow money from us to refinance and cash out equity on his home and I'm talking of borrowing an amount less that $2,000.
How can you live in a house you can't afford?
Go there in the summer,they can't even afford to turn on the AC to heat the mansion.
I'll rather live in a modest 3/4 bedroom that I can heat and cool comfortably that live in a 7 BR house and wear socks and and winter jackets indoors to watch TV in the winter.
