Well you havent been on NL long enough cos that's what alot of them believe. I quoted them from old threads since osisi refuses to believe that Yorubas get bashed just as much as Igbos here.

PepERSprAY:
You announced the corpse water issue and not me. You even swore to it because it's somewhere online and Nollywood played it live. You've been broadcasting it for long now and I believed you were saying the truth undecided
don't be foolish, Funmi. Should have read the articles I provided instead of trying to make this about me.

1. I said it's a crude tradition done to widows. Asking Ify whether her mother drank her own mother's water was retarded and uncalled for.

It IS true and I mentioned it because I found it funny that the OP(an Igbo) of that thread was making fun of old Hausa tradition when they are just as guilty of such crass traditions. The point of my post was to prove that such things happen in MANY tribes in Nigeria, not just the North or the South.

An average yoruba girl is fat and short too and most times has dirty habits, - IykeD. This was from a thread merely asking "what tribe has the prettiest girls", dont know what "dirty" has to do with anything

Yoruba are that they are often dirty , Yoruba women give it up anywhere whether it's under the stair case, hood, back seat, behind the church, first date - willywilly in a thread about NORTHERNERS

i supposed you have not heard the saying that yorubas eat in the same plate they deficate in,i for one can tell you how dirty yorubas are .- queen momodu

I heard that those yoruba women sitting and selling in the market place also defecate in those containers they are sitting on and could be selling you things at the same time.

I heard that they are very dirty also. -YOU

In a thread about stereotypes and not people provoking anyone. You claim you never heard such sterotypes on here yet you listed them?  huh
RomanceRe: Igbo Women Are Too Demanding by KarmaMod(f): 3:06am On Oct 24, 2008
Osisi you have a problem with denial. Anything to defend stupid people as long as they're Igbo. same way you played buddy buddy with that asshole, PLC when he was acting up. Telling me to let it go.

Many people have said these things. One of the biggest stereotypes about Yoruba woman on NL is how dirty they supposedly are. If you like. do a search.
RomanceRe: Igbo Women Are Too Demanding by KarmaMod(f): 2:58am On Oct 24, 2008
Please show me where anyone made that comment unprovoked.
Oh please. "I heard Yoruba market woman do this and that in their stall" Abegi. unprovoked or not this is a stereotype mentioned by many on here esp your friend willywilly the pathetic lesbian. Stop making excuses for such things.

People make sterotypes about Igbos and people do the same for Yoruba. case closed.

FamilyRe: Mothers, Trust Us Please! by KarmaMod(f): 2:41am On Oct 24, 2008
well some fathers are very ignorant

They believe as long as they do "bbay talk with the kid for like 10 mins. that's all they have to do

If a guy normlly plays with the kids, helps out with the diapers, feeding, clean up, clothing etc, I highly doubt the wife will worry cos they will know that you know what you're doing cos they've seen you do it.

Funmi, you too like trouble.

and most of those who replied are right., there's a raise in Yoruba men-Igbo women marriage. Not the other way around. Many say it's because Igbo men tend to wait too long for marriage and the woman don't have that time. who knows. There's also the theory that it's because Igbos are rigid in regards to divorce unlike the Yorubas(thank God for that Btw). many reasons. I doubt it has anything negative to do with the women else Yoruba men wouldnt be marrying them

No cause war here.

Point is what are you trying to achieve with this thread. Demanding or not, that hasnt stopped their men from marrying them now has it?

@ Busybody, yeah i guess I'm too nice but can't be a fool. I said he texted me saying he forgave me n so on. I ignored that, all i said from my side is closure, he wants to see me n i would to hear what he has to say, is that bad? The forgiving part i ignored it because i don't know what he's forgiving me for n thats y i said it would be left till we see in person, so i could really n finally know n talk to him. I'm not begging anyone here.

@Karmamod
Yeah I have n I'm all clean dear. Thanks I've heard but i believe i wont fall for his games.
Fine but I already know the excuses he'll give and Im sure he'll use the so called "yelling" against you. To be honest closure is for people who are in a relationship and they broke up over vague reasons. Cheating in relationships dont require closure cos it means giving a reason for the demise of the relationship. You already KNOW why the relationship ended so getting closure doesnt make sense.

I know you're still gonna go so im gonna at least as you to

Please dont meet him in your house or his place. No "private place".

If he says anything about the yelling or whatever, ask him how would he react if he saw the same nonsense on your phone.

Dont follow him anyway after the "talk"

Before you leave thank him for the good times and wish him luck in life. Make sure you let him know that you just deserve better.

Hopefully you take this into consideration.  undecided

what exactly do you wanna discuss?

If not for the fact that you checked his phone, would you have known anything?  huh He would have continued. Im sure he'll make up some lame excuse of how those girls are the one chasing him instead blah blah and you'll fall for it

Have you gone for a STD checkup.

How come Monica missed this part

Lastly, I believe that you should ignore this guy, as you have tried your best! Now, please stop inflating his ego, he will probably not realise what he's lost, if you're still knocking at his door and lingering around the corner, you need to disappear from his life
Lmao. Now he's telling you that he forgives YOU when he's the one frolicking with other women. Hilarious.

Apparently you need self respect lessons.
RomanceRe: I Need Your Advice Ladies And My Guys Here In Nairaland by KarmaMod(f): 9:28pm On Oct 23, 2008
Danke is a girl. stop referring to her as a "he". Married woman, infact

It's not the fact that YOU might want to be "sensible", its the fgact that SHE might/most likely will set something up against you.

You can't win against someone who will do ANYTHING to get back into your life unless you keep her far away.

You might say you don't intend on doing anything but you can't exactly speak for HER now can you

Infoseye:
look its not that I can't talk on phone we are so close back then its like lossing ur best friend and u back again, just to talk about what happened etc and even if I do have sex is that a crime or anybody's business?
Since it's no one's business why did you even bother making it a thread on a PUBLIC FORUM. As for it being a crime, why dont you ask your current gf whether it's a crime or not? why ask us?

Losing bestfriend, blah blah. when she first left you why didnt you "iron things out" around that time? why was it after you got into another relationship that you suddenly decide that "oh yea lemme go iron stuff out with my ex". why is it now that she;'s out of the country you decide to "discuss the breakup".
abeg comot with the lame excuses
RomanceRe: I Need Your Advice Ladies And My Guys Here In Nairaland by KarmaMod(f): 8:07pm On Oct 23, 2008
why can't these "issues" be "ironed out" on the PHONE?

aisha, that guy isnt ironing anything out. He made it clear that the girl wants tio get back with him. You should know that upon getting together, she's going to seduce him and he's OBVIOUSLY going to fall for it and start a little relationship again because there's NO way she'll walk away once she gets this chnace to see him again]

and when the current girl gets back, she's definitely going to hear about it

No be woman? Abegi

The reason why he's getting all angry is cos he knows Danke and I are right. Else he wouldnt get so defensive.

who is he fooling?
