I don't give mere speculations here. I think its high time you all should understand my stance on any topic been raised here. If I am not too sure of a particular topic, I don't go into detail debating about it. I remember vividly and very clearly that I said it on this platform that the receipt of an AIP letter is NOT a guarantee that an applicant will be approved of the second stage. Many counterattacked my post and were obivoulsy thinking that I'm depriving people on this window from showing great happiness. However this is not the case, as I was merely advising applicants here from the wisdom of my knowledge and the number of applications and cases I see on a regular basis and the tricks that are likely to be employed by IRCC this fall 2020. I reiterate that IRCC are using this AIP as a means to lure applicants into paying their tuition fees for the survival of her economy. Do not begin classes until you have received the final verdict from IRCC. Please be properly guided if you've not been told before, a Visa officer can decide to start your ELIGIBILITY review afresh after receiving a complete application (biometrics enrollment details and medicals), this I have seen on numerous GCMS notes especially when a new VO picks up the file for a final review.
I'll be here to watch how things unfolds in no distant time.
As always, it will end in praise. Mr Frank I need your advice ,as a graduate with 2.2 in civil engineering . , Should I apply for masters programs or go for undergraduate University visa. Which one of them will be more quicker in getting a visa and less costly. I really need to leave this country. |

NO, If u are a NIGERIAN, u don't need an English Test to apply for a PGD or M.SC in Canada, Ignore it when you see it as an admission requirement for a program of ur interest.
NIGERIA is an English Speaking Country & ur medium of instruction from the University/Polytechnic you graduated from is English etc pls can you guide me on how to get admission in a Canadian University 08107639148
IELTS (English Test) for admission in Canada are meant for countries whose language or official language is not ENGLISH e.g India, China, Philippine , Vietnam etc.
Its only when you want to apply for a Canada Permanent Residency (PR) that its highly required of u to do IELTS test
If the school u graduated from is opened (Registrar Office) , U can get an English Test Waiver/Exemption letter from them I.e LETTER OF CONFIRMATION OF PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE, this is optional though

dasparrow:
With what visa are you trying to enter a foreign country with precisely? Because to "hustle" legally you will need a work permit or permanent residency for the country you intend going to. To get a work permit for a western country is not easy at all talkless of permanent residency which can take years. It does not even matter how much money you currently have because that money will run out quick once you have to start paying rent, utility bills and groceries in your new country of residence.
Too many Nigerians I have noticed have enough money for airline ticket but do not have sufficient money to live relatively comfortable in the western world long enough until they can obtain either a work permit or permanent residency.
In addition, Nigerians are not aware that immigration policies are getting tougher and tougher each year. Even countries that are considered developing countries are making it extremely difficult for immigrants and potential immigrants how much more advanced countries.
I am not trying to discourage you. I am not saying you shouldn't migrate but what I am saying is be realistic. I see too many Nigerians stuck here abroad suffering. They couldn't get their papers (work permit, permanent residency permit, naturalized citizenship) as they had hoped for. They have no money to survive and before you know it, they start engaging in crime just to survive thereby soiling the already damaged reputation of Nigeria further. There is a reason why foreign missions in Nigeria make it so difficult for Nigerians to obtain a visa.
Many of you think that we are picking money on the streets here abroad but that's a fallacy. If you are able to get at least a work permit that will enable you to legally pick up employment in the country you are planning to migrate to, then by all means make the move. However, if you are thinking of coming on a tourist visa with the hope of overstaying, you will be making a big mistake.
Many of these Western countries are voting in leaders lately who are leaning towards conservative, right wing, anti-immigrant ideologies and don't want people from so-called "shithole" countries coming to their countries in search of the proverbial greener pastures except if you are perhaps a professional with skills being highly sought after in these advanced nations, example medical professionals for instance.
So think about all I have said considering that you are already married with a child. If you get stuck abroad for years on end, don't complain when another man starts taking care of your wife's sexual needs. After all, body no be firewood. Your child also needs you the father. Just saying.
- From a concerned foreign-born Nigerian residing legally in the diaspora how do I get a working visa to Canada or Australia . I need your advice |
Politics / Re: Yoruba Vs Igbo: Both Tribes Are Blameless by kasmilla(m): 5:47pm On May 21, 2020 |
pazienza:
The best comment so far.
Igbo: We don't want Nigeria
Yoruba: But your Zik refused secession clause
Igbo: Secession clause wouldn't have survived Awo and Gowon decrees
Yoruba: But Ironsi killed Nigeria regions
Igbo: Shows proof of Gowon dissolving the regions with Yoruba support..
Yoruba: Starts showing Igbo pictures of suffering and starving Biafrans as scare mongering tactics
Igbo: Not perturbed, still want Biafra to ensure my children don't share a country with a people who take pride in the starvation of their forebearers
Yoruba: Starts threatening Igbo with another civil war and destruction, reminding him how he lost the first war.
Igbo: Unfazed by the empty threat, still want Biafra.
Yoruba: Fill with anger and venom says, we are not stopping you from Biafra, talk to your law markers and politicians
Igbo: If you don't care about Biafra why then were you trying to blackmail us with secession clause , Ironsi, and then scaremongering us with starvation pics and threats of war
Yoruba: Turns to obfuscation, and starts ranting: Biafra will be landlocked, we will get the SS to hate you and make sure you have no access to the ocean. We will seize all your property in Lagos and Nigeria, you will no longer have access to Nigerian markets, we will deport and tax you to death.
Igbo: Tries to disprove the insinuations that Biafra is landlocked by providing maps and articles on international river treaties. Accepts to concede property in Nigeria if thats what it takes.
Yoruba: Goes on to open multiple accounts claiming to be from SS. Tries to incite SS against Ndiigbo in bid to ensure Biafra would have difficulties with sea access . Claims Ndiigbo marginalized SS in Eastern region and Biafra, claims that Ndiigbo are planning to forcefully annex minorities into Biafra.
Igbo: Provides evidence of Igbo fair dealings with minorities, provides documents on willink commission report, on Eastern region political and appointment positions showing fairness in representation of minorities in the Eastern region government. Provides evidence that 2/3 minorities would have voted for Biafra should a referendum have been conducted.
The above is the cyclic chronicle of Igbo/Yoruba online squabble.
Yorubas wiill simply not give up in trying to throw in obstacles to Igbo Biafra dreams, yet wants to convince us they don't care about Biafra? We are more than equal to eviscerate all Yoruba treachery to stop or discredit Biafra. I forecast that until Biafra is achieved and Yorubas realize their efforts were in vain, they will not stop trying to discredit Biafra agitation by trying to claim that Igbos don't have moral right to want out of Nigeria using secession clause and Ironsi debunked propaganda,as well as trying to paint a gloomy picture of Biafra in bid to make it unattractive to Igbos and force us to drop the struggle, by claiming that Biafra would be landland locked and that Igbos property all over Nigeria would be seized as well as reminding us that our traders scattered all over Nigeria would be deported or taxed to death by Nigeria post Biafra secession. When this fails to deter the Igbo, they would resort to threats of genocidal war against Ndiigbo. And as long as Yorubas would not stop in this treacherous behaviour, Ndiigbo will not stop fighting back.
So in essence. Only Biafra actualization will make Igbos and Yorubas friends again. Maybe friends is an overexaggertion, but you get the point.

Same road where Unizik is and a few minutes away there's a NAS Lodge across the school .There's nothing exciting about that town. Awka way no get standard stadium. The biggest hospital be like university and their emergency ward is almost a kilometre far from the gate.
Useless state. You see beggers in groups ofa about 5 line up begging everywhere and tgey don't have a functional taxi service. All cabs are private and you don't know if you are entering a cab full if kidnappers or armed robbers because there's no uniformity and regulations. Shall we shift to the part where you have state government, LG chairmen ,e.t.c. and even had the son of the soil at the helm of affairs recently , he shouldn't have marginalized y'all
Despite that SE,SS,ND and Yeeboland / East receives at least 4 times allocation of Osun, but with less landmass compared to Osun, where is the money Amnesty people still collect at least 150k salary from FG any month , apart from the ones trained outside the country for underwater welding , and other businesses

Yes, 99% Enugu people say ife, welu, chelu, mmili and what have you. I have been amongst Enugu guys and every gaddem one speaks Anambra, again, including yourself....Stop lying for goodness sake
Nwanne, this is not entirely true.
An average person born and brought up in Enugu metropolis Urban uses "iye " for thing, and not "ife".
The "iye" is so ingrained in me that I have been struggling to eliminate it. "chelu" is normal Enugu dialect nah. But it's not spoken like its spoken in Idemili. The "e" in Chelu is spoken like "ae" in aeroplane, instead of like "a" in airplane, as obtainable in Anambra dialects. Enugu Urban says "Woolu" for take, and not "Welu".
oga you are wrong , 98percent doesnt speak there anambra dialect, nkanu man , agwu man , nsukka man speaks different from anambra 1 Like 1 Share |

What is "Right"? Throwing money away to satisfy frivolous "they must know" desires, or bundling up that same money and putting it into trust funds for each of my children so they can start their life when they hit age 20 with a cool half a million dollars?
From experience, Poverty does not leave the mind even if money enters people's hands. The average Nigerian does not ask "Why" and does not question things...preferring interest to give priority to "Ha, what would THEY think" or "Hmm, THEY must know today that I/we have arrived"? Who is the THEY and why should you care?
As someone said, other cultures in Nigeria are more sensible and pragmatic as the world is no longer what it was during the times these customs of old prehistoric men were formed. Traditionists bore me, as they are incapable of independent thought past the dictates of prehistoric individuals like me and you who formd things according to their own understanding in their time.
Tried giving Igbo families a chance one last time but it seems they never fail to over-do the culture thing past what even makes sense. Done with 'em.
