The ruin will be more than effect of war on Ukraine. |
A time is coming when nobody will take victim of rape seriously. The power that generations struggled to get for women as weapon of protection is now being turn to weapon of wickedness. This is gradually reducing the essence of the weapon. A time will come when it will no longer matter. All thanks to this generation. |

El-rufai strategies is not more than this: positioning himself as a "concerned citizen" and "whistleblower" who has access to high-level insider information, often while claiming to be a target of political persecution. A rabble rouser like him can only be tackled with silence. And, allow the public to have access to atrocities while in power. No prosecution or arrest attempt should be made by the government now that election is closer. Because that is what he wants. It is a useful campaign strategy. |
This is an afterthought Gajagojo: |
We are not talking about elections. We are talking about el-rufal unruly behaviours. Stay on the topic. Let's save our energy on "noise maker like Nnamdi Kanu, Lauretta Onochie" or "Tinubu and Saraki" Gajagojo: |
The topic is on el-rufai and his unruly behaviours. Stay focus on the topic and do not derail. When it is time to discuss other politicians or Nigerians online, it will be thoroughly addressed. You asked for name of a government el rufai has brought down, you were given an answer. You proceeded to ask how; answer was also given. This is where the discuss is, you can continue from there. Gajagojo: |
Be busy with this while I prepare you another pot of soup. El-Rufai’s "Aggressive Media & Information Warfare" against the Goodluck Jonathan administration was characterized by a systematic attempt to portray the presidency as not only incompetent but actively malevolent. He leveraged social media and traditional press to create a narrative of a "sinking government" led by a "docile nonentity". His strategy relied on three primary tactics: 1. High-Stakes Security Allegations El-Rufai frequently linked the Jonathan administration to the Boko Haram insurgency to erode public trust: The Funding Claim: On September 8, 2014, he alleged that Jonathan "founded and funded Boko Haram" with N50 billion to give Islam a "bad name". Conspiracy Narratives: He claimed Jonathan traveled to Chad to plan attacks with the late President Idriss Déby. Political Motivation: He argued the federal government desired the continuation of the insurgency because it was "profitable for security agencies" to steal from large security budgets. 2. Personal Character Attacks & Social Media Provocations He used Twitter and Facebook to directly insult the President’s person and family, often using religious or cultural imagery: Direct Insults: He openly tweeted his "hatred" for the President and mocked Jonathan’s intelligence. Sacrilegious Satire: In 2013, he posted a sarcastic tweet suggesting that if Jesus criticized the government, Jonathan’s aides would claim he "slept with Mary Magdalene," which sparked massive outrage among Christians. Mockery of Faith: He publicly mocked a photo of President Jonathan kneeling in prayer during a pilgrimage to Jerusalem, framing it as political theater. 3. Financial and Administrative "Exposés" To paint the regime as corrupt and fiscally reckless, El-Rufai released figures that were often disputed by the presidency: Inflated Spending Claims: In October 2015, he alleged Jonathan spent N64 billion on Independence Day celebrations; the administration later produced records showing only N333 million was spent. Ecological Fund Controversy: He accused Jonathan of "discriminatory disbursement" of the Ecological Fund, claiming N2 billion was given only to "friend" PDP states while ignoring others. Debt Narrative: He claimed that Jonathan was taking an average of $1 billion in loans every month, a narrative used to fuel the "economic mismanagement" campaign. 4. Victimization Narratives El-Rufai positioned himself as a target of state tyranny to gain "popular sympathy": The "Hit List": In early 2014, he claimed to be on a government "hit list" alongside Muhammadu Buhari, intended to frame the administration as a murderous autocracy. Strategic Leaks: He was known for leaking "secret memos" that condemned the President, which critics like Shehu Sani argued were calculated to carve out an image of El-Rufai as a "competent alternative". El-Rufai’s information warfare was a masterclass in narrative dominance, designed to systematically dismantle the legitimacy of the Goodluck Jonathan presidency. By positioning himself as a "persecuted truth-teller," he successfully shifted public focus from the government's achievements to its perceived failures and malevolence. 1. The Persecution Narrative as a Political Shield El-Rufai framed himself as a primary target of state tyranny to delegitimize any legal or administrative actions taken against him: The "Threat" Label: He claimed Jonathan’s inner circle convinced the President that he was a threat to his second-term ambition, leading to a campaign to "take him out of the race". Prison and Exile Claims: He alleged that Jonathan tried to put him in prison and that he had "suffered" and been exiled due to his presidential aspirations. Strategic Victimhood: By declaring himself a victim, he made it politically costly for the government to prosecute him, as any action was immediately branded by the opposition as "victimization of the opposition". 2. Information Warfare: The "One Day, One Lie" Strategy Critics and former aides to Jonathan, such as Reno Omokri, described El-Rufai's tactics as a relentless stream of provocative and often unverified claims: Boko Haram Sponsoring: On September 8, 2014, he alleged Jonathan founded and funded Boko Haram with N50 billion to discredit Islam. International Conspiracy: He claimed Jonathan met with Chadian President Idriss Déby to plan Boko Haram attacks. The "Hit List" Claim: On January 5, 2014, he alleged he and Muhammadu Buhari were on a government "hit list" to be assassinated. 3. Effect on the Government's Failure to Secure a 2nd Term These tactics had a profound impact on the 2015 election outcome by creating an atmosphere of "fear, uncertainty, and intergroup mistrust": Erosion of Trust in the North: The persistent narrative that Jonathan was "anti-North" or sponsoring the insurgency that ravaged the region created a powerful conspiracy and "gang-up" in the North that the presidency underestimated until it was too late. Damage to Reputation for Competence: By releasing inflated figures—such as claiming N64 billion was spent on Independence Day when only N333 million was used—he painted a picture of a reckless and "clueless" administration. Opposition Consolidation: The information warfare provided the "moral" justification for the APC merger, as he argued smaller parties had to unite to survive a "tyrannical" PDP. Focus Shift: The administration was forced into a defensive posture, spending critical campaign time debunking "spurious and defamatory" statements rather than promoting its own agenda. |
You get the point. Silence is the best answer for him. onatisi: |
El rufai strive on controversies. And, he has just one political tactic- create controversies that would dent the image of his political enemies. He will provoke them to charge at him so that he can get the public sympathy and political relevance. The same script he played against Jonathan is what is playing now. Nothing different. If I were this government, I would ignored him as inconsequential because the responses is all he needed to maintain relevance. I will deprive him all attentions and watch him quietly goes into oblivion. I can bet that the whole airport drama was arranged. |
Clearly, Seyi Makinde is not a politician. I will advise him to forget anointing any successor or contesting for any post in 2027 and retire home with his loot quietly. God has favoured him enough. |
Desperation at its peak. Emperor Wike is fixing himself into BAT project by fire by force because the handwritten on the wall does not look so good for him. |
I am trying to understand the statistics, baby mamas of 2 and 3 children respectively. Are they not seeing the handwriting on the wall to have allowed it happened after the first child? The 3 amazed me more. She is more than a baby mama. |
You are an ex. Kamapademon mode activated |
Let the be importation pending when there will be local competitors with Dangote, else he would milk us dry. |
Thank God I don't give a damn about a woman's family. I married her, not her mother or her family. They have collected their only and final entitlement during the traditional wedding. I don't object to their daughter spending her money on them but she dare not make such proposal to me. The fact that they call me " stingy and irresponsible man" delights my soul. I am not financially responsible for them and I will never be. The tears is unending when you spend on them and the woman quit. Ask Epa. Only a weak man does that anyway because the only way to they that can penetrate a woman is money. |
I observed that most legacy projects were built in the 70s/80s. |
Use another line to toast her. She will want to respond to the new maga. From there, do the casting and reverse the role by threaten her with lawsuit. You can actually sue her. It is not a threat. |
Over time, his real self is becoming clear. I had known pretense has an expiry date. A hustler wearing a messiah’s robe will trip over it sooner or later. |
I have always maintained that he is suffering from low self-esteem. I just pity America because the impact of his emotional dysregulation will leave more than a scar years after he has left. The country is gradually being isolated. |
glolomoh:You are really know this bro and his game |
I have long known that he is working for Tinubu. The deal is to put the final nail on PDP coffin. The interview was a mere distraction. |
Fubara is now playing the game. Next, is to petition EFCC and ICPC on the Constituency project money and ensure the agencies act on it. By then they won't be talking about the Governor but engaged with how they won't land in jail. Give them a good chase. |
Trust any word coming from Kogi state governor at your own peril. He is a propagandist. |
Everybody has a price. Politicians are only loyal to their interest. Get it and give them in bit and see how they will worship you. Do you think Abuja landlord has a grip over them for nothing? Is Wike a father Christmas when he took them abroad the other time? I repeat, Fubara needs politicking to fight and win a seasoned politician like Wike. Lamasta: |
I won't have access to power, connections and resources like Fubara and not to have been able to win majority of the lawmakers to my side in the last two years. Fubara needs to learn the game to enable him be in charge. This is a common political equation that a mere SUG president or faculty president will easily solve. If he can't politick, he should just stay away from fighting a seasoned politician because their brains don't sleep. |
Now is the best time for Fubara to remove the Speaker. Play the politics since there is discordant voices within the Assembly. Spoil the 4 that said no to impeachment with juicy offers, then give them target of "bring one and get more". By and large, he would have quorum against the Speaker and remove him. The Speaker is the major instrument the Abuja landlord is using. Send emissaries to them and win them over, Divide the Assembly and remove the Speaker. Then be in charge. |
Let’s be honest: that whole “fight” was never about us. It was a competition over who gets to milk Nigerians. Now that the noise is over and petrol imports have stopped, it simply means they’ve agreed on how to share the milking. What we should expect now is the real Aliko Dangote — the capitalist, not Father Christmas. Higher prices are coming. The era of cheap fuel promises is over. |
This is a poor data. Name of the banks, number of closed branches and their locations would have make the report valid and verifiable. |
This is why I cannot buy shares of companies owned by either Femi Otedola and Aliko Dangote. They hyped the share price and exit at the peak. Then, the share price dropped geometrically. Sometimes, the company becomes not existent. Who is the loser? The smaller investors. The moment I saw news of Geregu power shares soaring in 2023/2024, I told a friend to watch out that Otedola will soon exit. This thing is like a game to him. He did same thing with AP shares in 2008/2009. I lost money. If there any bank share i am wary of buying, it is First Bank. |
This is unhealthy look. He must be suffering from a terminal disease. |
