For reasons best known to the admin, none of the stories about this incident were pushed to the front page. Abducted 42 children in dehumanizing conditions in the forest should be a story hitting the frontpage back to back. But here we are, nairaland is doing everything possible to kill the story.

Why is this not making the front page ? Between this and the president son picture in the front page, which one is better ? At the rate nairaland is quiet and attempting to bury this Ogbomosho kidnap issue is alarming and worrisome. Is nairaland now part of the 30k gang ?

I love those days of Indirect primaries (delegate-based). The politicking was real and real politicians who can stand on their own usually make the list. It is test of organic popularity and consultation capability within the party. Once upon a time we heard that an incumbent president allegedly had to knelt down during a consultation session regarding his second term primary election.

The introduction of Direct and Concensus candidature in the electoral act of 2010 and 2022 respectively give room for the quality of men holding our political atmosphere and the resultant effects is what we are experiencing now. Quality people no longer allowed to vie for political post. Minions are being installed. What can minions do apart from the interest of his master only ?
