It's like you now sleep and wake up on nairaland. I just wonder if you will be able to sleep any day you don't have your xenophobic narrative to post on nairaland. You are merely seeking for attention, unfortunately, we are Nigerians, we no send your papa. Continue with your obsession, we will not chase you. RandDigital: |
Trump is indeed a very foolish American president who wasted his country resources fighting on behalf of another country that didn't commit any resources to the war. HacheNoire: |
I thought EFCC said dollarization of the economy is an economic crime. Here, is your suspect. Arrest him |
This is a bait. He should keep mum about this. it is a dilemna. Some people somewhere want to him to be at loggerhead with the president. I see the Accord guys being used by local APC guys. Their actions since Adeleke got the mandate of the party say so much |
Bogus means fake, counterfeit or not genuine. Are you sure what you want to say is : "Let the state governors first published FAKE FAC allocation released to them as a proceed of subsidy removal and what they do with the money"? Temidayo9: |
If we are to apply Fayose's conspiracy theory, the governor of his state kidnapped them because of politics and now release them after he had won the election. Unserious person |
Anything less than 700-800 is a rip off. Before the war, crude was $73.87 a barrel and a litre of petrol was between N770 and N800. Now, crude is $72.700 a barrel and we are getting a litre of petrol at N1,075. It doesn't make any mathematical sense, bearing in mind that exchange rate was ₦1390 before the war and ₦1369 now Besides, the Press should know the difference between crash and price cut. Crash is an overhyping for this kind of price reduction. |
Why is south african news making the frontpage back to back ? It is becoming irritating and nauseating. Abeg, let their news be with them and stop given them undue recognition and relevance. This is nairaland not zululand. We are proudly Nigerians |

Fuel subsidy was removed for government to have more money, not to save or work with, but to loot. This is one of them. Fuel subsidy payment and other citizen reliefs would not have allowed too much money in government custody that billions of naira cannot be accounted for. All tiers of government now have more money but little or nothing to show for it. The looting is massive, hence any voice demanding for accountability will be gauged. I know their agents will react to this little opinion of mine once they see it. They can be that petty. Everyone must be silenced so they can be unchallengeable. Despite all these, the information is still leaking from within them. Is God not wonderful? 400m bribe is huge. Are we sure these are not the real engine behind kidnapping to get money from the masses in order to buy political appointment or election? Hope the man realized that giver and taker of bribe are both criminal? Hope he knows that his open admittance can send him to Kuje ? Anyway, he is one of them, he may be protected. One thing that is glaring is, this government does not pretend that about its dispositions to the masses. Policies, statements and body language say it all. |
What exactly did Lucky Ayedatiwa knows? Poor knowledge of governance and politics, yet he is a state governor. |
That's not NYSC anymore. Simply rename it to something else. |
God will continue to bless my father. The best time I make money in life was after my graduation from the university. I got a job with a bank and I was really a "big boy". My father gave me a close monitoring. He warned me against spending on girls (especially those in school), flamboyant lifestyle and cars. He ensures I save and acquire assets. He forbids me buying a car for 3 years even as a banker. He pushed me into professional exams and master's degree. I was occupied to be too social. Today, I am not broke, those investments are delivering their returns week in week out. I don't struggle to pay bills. All I need is to check returns on some investments and cash out. Even if i don't work anymore, I can never be broke. These are saving made over 20 years ago. To my amiable and visionary father, thank you very much sir. I have inculcated same in my children. |
The polity would have been hotter by now if El-Rufai was not incarcerated. Opposition would have been more empowered. By now, there would been accusations and counter accusations between him and the government. He is a crafty propagandist. |
Oju ti osiun Donald Trump |
Trump was only seeking for the attention of President Bola Tinubu, possibly to cut some deal since the latter seems determined to snub him to the grave even in the midst of using withdrawal of financial aids and imposition of heavy custom charges. If you think Trump shouting nigerian christians because of nigerian christians, it implies you don't understand who Trump. He is no way different from nigerian politicians. And, I think his DNA needs to be checked deeply. Nigeria might actually be his ancestral home because the blood is really flowing in hm. In all, I see him as someone with inferiority complex using force to be seen and feared. The more his bully tendencies, the more he disgraced himself. Who take him serious again ? |
Now, they are being taught power acquisition while leaving out governance, ethics and compliance which is the core pillars of what they will do when they get the power. This is actual stage where we are missing it in this country. You got into an office where you knew nothing about its structure, rules and the institutional governance. Definitely, you will do work anyhow. I think it should be made mandatory for any political office seeker to have undergone some course in National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies as a prerequisite to vie for an office as it is being done with senior civil service positions. |
Just thinking out loud why the Commander-in-Chief cannot order the military to occupy these forest and build multiple bases there. If there are 20 military base inside Kwara/Kogi forest for instance, will the bandits have any hideout again ? Should a team be deployed to a base in the forest and the location is being used by bandits, automatically the team in that jurisdiction has case to answer. |
drtee247:Google said: The company was officially delisted from the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) in late 2019. This followed its complete acquisition by Crown Flour Mills, a subsidiary of Olam International Limited. As a result of this buyout, the company reverted to a private limited liability entity. If you held shares before the delisting. Shareholders at the time of the acquisition were compensated by the buying entity. If you still have unclaimed proceeds or queries regarding your past equity, you would typically need to engage your stockbroker or contact the official company registrar to process your dematerialized shares and fund transfers. Me: I have followed these steps but did not get response to any of my correspondences since 2021 neither was i compensated. Infact, I have written them twice this year. Email is not even working. Same with phone number. Only the letters i sent through courier were delivered and they didn't not reply or action my request. I bought 18,000 units in the IPO. You will understand my plight. |
We are in the era of AI and I think Nairaland needs to upgrade. Google and Meta has integrated AI into their systems. Facebook was launched on February 4, 2004. Nairaland was founded a little over a year later, on March 8, 2005. Facebook has upgraded beyond 2026 while Nairaland is still in 2005 |
RIP Aketi . Such news won't be in public domain. No arrest. No parade. No prosecution. Simply, action ! |
That line belongs to America who has what it takes to eliminate terrorism- equipment and political will. Don't drop such line here while we die daily. If Yar'adua negotiated with the Niger delta militants and peace return to the region, nothing stop your government if you don't have the capacity to wipe them off to negotiate with them in the interest of innocent citizens whose lives are been threatened or cut short on daily basis. Oga drop that quote and work. Commander-in-Chief is not just a nomenclature but responsibilities. |
Governor-appointed King cannot invoke any deity. Face the reality that we don't have traditional rulers with mystrical power. What we have are political kings. Let's shift the attention to modern day war techniques rather than an imaginary power |
Na now day break ? This happened 2/3 days ago |
Since Kenneth has chosen to build his political career as a communications strategist whose primary job is to aggressively manage public perception by manipulating information, discrediting opponents, and steering media narratives through propaganda , he would have better off with PBAT team where he will get good money than struggling to get peanut under Atiku. Anyway, I cannot rule out the possibility that he might be a mole. Politics has shown us that today's fierce defender can become tomorrow's opponent. The cases of Daniel Bwala, Reno Omokri, and Segun Showunmi are still fresh in our memory. I wish him well in his hustle. Everyone is entitled to pursue opportunities where they believe their talents will be best rewarded and appreciated. Country is hard, bills must be paid. |
Any serious government would have technology to track down the location. Tech + Airforce + land troop is enough to solve this problem. Coming online should be the greatest undoing of the bandit. |
It is glaring that Ogbomosho is under siege. Yet, the governor, police, Kings, local government chairmen and other leaders won't be proactive to this. They will politicized it. I know some people will be saying the attack is because of the crisis between the king and muslim leadership in the town. Some will say it because Makinde is contesting for president. All these is bull..sh..it. Come together and free your people. |
I agreed with you. I am not wealthy. What do you bring to the table of "unwealthy" man |
This is a welcome development. They must tell us the outcome at the end of their investigation. This must not be swept under the carpet |
So if I know someone is deliberately trying to intimidate or oppress me, and I clearly have the capacity to defend myself or stop them decisively, should I simply ignore it, allow the misconduct to continue, and then tell my children that all they can do is pray? Davido is actually right. "our country don go." |
