This is exactly what emperor Wike wants from Fubara. He must be admiring how Yayaha Bello was able to achieve this seamlessly. Kogi State is unique in Nigeria as it shares border with ten different states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Unfortunately, it has never been blessed with visionary leaders . |
Topshow2010:Amen amen and AMEN ! If it remains a second for them to unite, may they be scattered 1000 times. |
Too early to expose your strategy to a Machiavellian. Believe me, the strategy is dead immediately after this statement. |
May they never agree, because history shows that whenever they become friends, it is the masses that end up on the menu. This so-called battle is not about our welfare. It’s about who gets the right to feast on us. So let the fight continue endlessly, because competition is the only reason prices ever come down. Local production and importation must both be allowed. The day they start liking each other is the day we start paying more. Long live the price war, and may their friendship never locate us. What happened in the cement industry must not be allowed to happened in Oil and Gas. |
It is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf that Wike is sinking. Like R Kelly lyrics .......... sinking to rise no more ' because he had destroyed relationships and affiliations beyond reconciliation. He over use his political power like there will be no tomorrow. With the way he is shrinking these days, he may had a terminal disease which he knew that the tomorrow is not really there. |

You’re right that tariff payment and stopping meter bypass matter, but those issues fall under the distribution layer I already mentioned. Even with full tariff compliance, the system still needs generation, transmission, and distribution to work together. nairalanda1: |
The bond creates the conditions for better power supply, but it does not automatically translate into steady electricity. The supply will only improve if generation, transmission, and distribution are fixed together. |
This is a crumb grabber not opposition. Someone who grabbed 750k Atiku PR offer from Reno like his life depends on it. Is that one an opposition ? Guy man is only looking for what to eat and where he can get it. Now, the best is in APC and he is under Umahi's the table picking the crumbs. Lets allow him to observe the table manner. |
I am begining to see the result of the Adeleke's family tour to Aso Rock some months ago. Few days after the visit, the top contender, former governor Gboyega Oyetola withdrew from the race. Now, the bigwigs have been disqualified. |
The Abuja guys are a real menace. By 2017 things had gotten so bad that I stopped driving my car in Abuja during working hours. One day they stopped me at Airport Junction Jabi and carried out a thorough inspection. They checked my papers, tyres, fire extinguisher and caution sign. Everything was in order. I felt confident until they asked me to press the brake. Suddenly they claimed my brake light was not working. I could not believe it. One of them even got into the car, pretended to press the brake and when I checked I thought the light truly was not functioning. After wasting my time and making me miss an important appointment they demanded five thousand naira from me. Everyone knows how much five thousand naira meant in 2017. Later that evening when I got home I noticed a faint glow at the back. I asked my neighbour to press the brake while I checked. To my surprise the brake light was perfectly fine. They are nothing but rogues. |
I remember this guy and Keyamo drama during the assassination of Bola Ige in 2001. Adebayo Olugbenga Adedamola, aka Fryo, was the prime suspect in the high-profile 2001 assassination of Nigeria's then-Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Chief Bola Ige. Keyamo held a press conference where he presented Olugbenga Adebayo, who was at the time wanted by the police. Keyamo also released a sworn affidavit by Fryo, which alleged that the Deputy Governor of Osun State, Iyiola Omisore, and other high-ranking officials were involved in the murder plot. Shortly after being handed over to the police by Keyamo, Fryo repudiated the contents of the affidavit and dropped Keyamo as his lawyer. He claimed Keyamo had forced him to make false statements to implicate certain individuals especially the then Osun Deputy Governor, Iyiola Omisore. Following Fryo's denial, the police arrested Keyamo and charged him with perjury and for keeping a wanted person in his custody for more than five days. Keyamo's younger brother, Lucky Keyamo, also accused him of doctoring the confessional statement. Keyamo was later freed by the court for want of evidence, while Fryo remained a principal suspect in the murder trial. This was the case to brought Festus Keyamo to the limelight after his controversial exit from Gani Fawehinmi Chambers. Fryo became the prime suspect because he was among those hoodlums who removed Bola Ige cap at Ooni Palace, Ile-Ife on December 15, 2001 and Bola Ige was assasinated on December 23, 2001. He was a student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife at that time. Fast forward to 2025, some 24 years later, Festus Keyamo is the Minister for Aviation, Iyiola Omisore is seeking APC gubernatorial ticket while Adebayo Olugbenga Adedamola has secured the same ticket through PDP. Our polity has always been in the hands of people with questionable past. |

Are we sure this Trump goes school at all ? His decisions are awkward and they are rewinding US backward. If Nursing is not professional, then ethics are not bound to be adhered to. This will leads to loss of lives of the patients. Quacks will increase too. |
ChatGPT or any other AI can confidently say the wrong thing in convincing manner. Ensure you have some knowledge of what you want the machines to dig out so that when it returns too-good-to-be-true reply, you can query it. For instance, I attached my chat with ChatGPT yesterday about using Google Antigravity to code. It replied me that it is not possible. I queried it to recheck and it returned that it is actually possible. If I had not read the update somewhere else that developers can now use Google Antigravity as an Editor, ChatGPT would have whitewashed me. AI is a knowledge support system, not the real knowledge.

I hope you saw this caveat on ChatGPT. Ask Nigerian Lawyers instead of ChatGPT

We’ve seen this play out too many times. Once politicians suddenly become “activists” or brand themselves as the “voice of the oppressed” or “voice of truth,” it’s rarely about the people. It’s about their own narrow interests. The fuel subsidy protests driven by the opposition and the Bring Back Our Girls campaign are still clear in our minds. Who truly gained from those movements? Certainly not the masses. It was the politicians who leveraged the public’s emotions to win sympathy, position themselves favourably, and eventually seize power. And what has that power delivered? More poverty, more insecurity, and deeper oppression. Amaechi should not attempt to use the same format in 2025 because e don cast. |
If Regina Daniels fart now, it will make the front page. It reminds me of Tonto Dike days here. Nairaland makes me know both of them. They sniffed them on our throat. Where is the Tonto Dike today ? I see history in Regina Daniels in the decade ahead. |
Honestly, you’re right. You nailed it. Let me share my experience. My wife has no idea when I get promoted or when my salary increases anymore. As far as she’s concerned, I’ve been earning the same amount since 2021. I got a promotion in 2021 and out of excitement, I showed her the offer letter. She saw my earnings, and boom, her demands shot up. She wanted everything spent on food, clothes, outings and enjoyment, even though we were still living in a rented apartment. Since then, I’ve kept things steady. I give her the same 80% of the salary she believes I earn. Yet she still expects the remaining 20% to cover school fees, car maintenance and the completion of our housing project. Sometimes she even criticizes my office, saying they are stingy and insensitive to the current economy. I usually join her in blaming the innocent company and pretend I’m searching for a better job. Meanwhile, in my mind, I just do ‘yinmu’ and keep quiet. The secrecy gave me the avenue to make us landlords, own two cars, send our children to choice schools, and build investments to fall back on at retirement. I shouldn’t lose my job today and be broke the next day. A man has to save in the rainy season. sammiewrite: |

Real Odogwu does not care about this kind of war even when they see it. Because they are always the winner. The write up may be for Simps who want to upgrade. |
On 25 January 1988, MKO Abiola’s son, Deji, had a minor traffic issue with a low ranking Air Force officer and fled the scene. The officer then traced him to Abiola’s residence and called in reinforcements. What followed was an outrageous show of force. Shots were even fired, with one reportedly missing Abiola by inches. Abiola took the matter to the then Air Vice Marshal Nura Imam. The AVM casually waved it aside and went as far as describing the Air Force men involved as mad dogs. No punitive measures were taken against the Officers. |
Where is this report ? This sound like hired propagandist doing his job |

So, Trump was only seeking for Tinubu's attention. Using show of force to get attention is a low level inferiority complex. Trump was shocked that an African country could openly snub him. He tried quiet economic and diplomatic moves to assert his presence, but Tinubu did not respond. Nigeria’s BRICS membership, refusal to accept U.S. deportees, de-dollarization of crude sales for the Dangote refinery, selling airline tickets in naira, and closer ties with France and China without reckoning to America all blocked his leverage. Frustrated and desperate for attention, he resorted to his dramatic outburst. Clearly, Trump is struggling with an inferiority complex. Tinubu should keep standing firm. We are Nigerians. We cannot be intimidated or gaslighted. The era of domination by any nation is over. We are entering a new era of collaboration, networking, and mutual respect. Trump is a typical "power miss road". Or "American Wike" |
You Can’t Be a Saviour with Blood on Your Hands The United States under Donald Trump’s renewed leadership presents itself as a defender of freedom and faith, yet its actions toward Nigeria tell a different story. In 2025, Washington suspended key health interventions including USAID and PEPFAR programmes that supported HIV, malaria, and tuberculosis care, leaving thousands of Nigerian health workers unpaid and millions vulnerable. At the same time, Trump threatened Nigeria over alleged religious persecution while ignoring the humanitarian fallout of his own policies. A nation cannot cut off medicine and still claim to protect lives. Such contradictions expose the deeper motive, not compassion but control. Nigeria’s recent economic moves reveal why Washington is uneasy. Selling crude oil to Dangote Refinery in naira, enforcing ticket sales in local currency, and expanding its currency swap deal with China mark a clear shift away from dollar dependency. Combined with its growing ties to BRICS, Nigeria is asserting economic sovereignty and that challenges United States dominance more than any sermon on democracy ever could. Still, Nigeria’s response has been measured and resilient. Rather than capitulate, it funded its own health programmes and diversified trade partnerships. This quiet defiance shows a nation learning to stand on its own terms. Real leadership is not about threats or sanctions. It is about empathy, fairness, and consistency. You cannot be a saviour with blood on your hands, and those who choose self-reliance over submission are not rebels; they are free. |
Got forbids I grow up. If accepting a product of paternity fraud is what it means to grow up, I will never grow up. The acceptance means forgiveness to the mother. Forgiveness is the beginning of the foundation of the man's grave. Once again, I won't grow up. |

How am I so sure it is not the same Chatgpt or other AI is what you will use? I can tell AI especially Chatgpt to be sarcastic, emotional or mean and it will do it perfectly. Sell your market instead of condemning an innovation that has come to stay. I could have patronize you if advertise your services solely without mentioning or condemning Chatgpt in your write up. Face your business and leave AI alone. They are not your rival but work tools to make your job faster and closer to perfection, if not perfect. |
