I love those days of Indirect primaries (delegate-based). The politicking was real and real politicians who can stand on their own usually make the list. It is test of organic popularity and consultation capability within the party. Once upon a time we heard that an incumbent president allegedly had to knelt down during a consultation session regarding his second term primary election.

The introduction of Direct and Concensus candidature in the electoral act of 2010 and 2022 respectively give room for the quality of men holding our political atmosphere and the resultant effects is what we are experiencing now. Quality people no longer allowed to vie for political post. Minions are being installed. What can minions do apart from the interest of his master only ? Can he make effective decisions that will be of best interest to the masses at the detriment of his master's parochial interest ? I doubt it.

The child public image depends on how the mother handles the situation.

You won't expect me to act cool and understanding when there is scientifically proven evidence in my custody that the child is not biologically related to me and the mother is still denying or trying to play on my intelligence. Mind you, I won't jump into conclusion until maternity test is also conducted. If eventually it is positive that the child belongs to her while my paternity result is negative, I need some disclosure. Meanwhile, the nation is on blackout for almost two months now due to poor gas supply to the power generating plants.

I think the having a natural resources to solve local problems before considering global supply should be paramount.

Channel this energy to the supply of gas to our power plants and let there be light in the country.
