You may try applying presure(not too much) on your keyboard area with your palms or fists, sometimes this fault is as a result of your graphix card or some chips not making proper contact usually due to heat.

If it doesnt come up after the above method, then you need to take it down for further troubleshooting and repairs.

my hp compaq laptop refused to power on. if i press power on button. the fan will wirk for some seconds it will go off again. hav checked d ram and the hdd but the problem stil persist. i removed d battery and press the power buton for some seconds and i plug in d charger yet it stil does d same tin. help
