Pantheon S1-S2

AMC's first foray into 2D animation had a beautiful premise that gave room for conversations and debates about humanity and it's experience, I'm shocked it slipped right under me because shows like these are my jam but as usual everything changed when capitalism sneered it's head.

The story needed at least a 5 season arc to breathe but it was cancelled after the first hence why the writers crammed all the plot points in the miraculous second season, it was rushed in a manner that the writers didn't even care about plot holes anymore but at least it was given a solid end despite being a flaky story

The season 2 finale would have made a fantastic season 4 or season 5 finale if they'd been allowed to fully flesh out that plotline.

A Re Zero fan surrendering himself to beating seems pretty on brand.

I swear we're not masochists, just honorable folks keeping our word.

Will always love how Horikoshi has a significant role for all his characters to play, no matter how small it seems. An underappreciated feature I really love to see in stories.

Lemillion has really been one of the stars of this arc so far. A beautifully written character.

And Yuuki Hayashi has just been outdoing himself every week on the soundtrack for this season.

My Hero Academia is undeniably one of the GOATs and that's a hill I'm very happy to die on

Wetin Deku see shock am? The brother did not experrit at all

TemporaryHansel:
I think HOTD needs time. The first few seasons of it's predecessor, GOT, were very horrible, bland, and boring. Infact, I almost gave up. GOT didn't start packing steam until the third season, that is when it became interesting and enticing.

The audacity to try to rewrite history in our very before. Una no dey fear oooo.

abduleez1:
I just dislike Isekai with passion and don't take that genre seriously. Cos na premium trash be the majority of not almost all sef.

Even trying to watch that stupid Solo Leveling the last time trying to put out my bias didn't leave very encouraging feelings.

Give Re Zero, The Saga of Tanya the Evil and Mushoku Tensei a chance. If you end up not liking any of them, I'll surrender myself to any location for proper beating.

Hohenheim:
Saga of Tanya the evil is the only isekai that I've ever liked, 12 episodes of absolute peak
Hopefully we get a season 2

We don dey wait for S2 since they announce am for years now

abduleez1:
✌🏽✌🏽

Guess I'll be watching Andor S1 very soon then

samistry:
Yea, it's an old pic from his nxt tenure. He had a vignette last smack down while in that character.

Oh good. Wouldn't have liked them returning him back to NXT for recycling when they could just build him up on the main roster

samistry:
He's bringing back his old gimmick. I prayed for this and it happened.

Is this NXT?

Evil Queen: Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all

Why is nobody talking about lady in the lake

Obviously, there's nothing to talk about.

Of course, there's a Moana 2 trailer at D23.

We're getting Zootopia 2 and The Incredibles 3. Let's fücking goooooooooooooo!!!

CoolUsername:
1. Roman Reigns is the top face of the company.
2. Both male and female world champs are beach blondes
3. Samoans holding one of the female world titles and the tag titles.
4. Big, strong monster foreign heel as world champ and big, strong monster heel as intercontinental champ.
5. Jacked Stone Cold/The Rock LARPer are US Champ.

Tfw Triple H finished Vince's story.

Hunter to Vince: I do everything you can do but better

"Dirty July" is sadly over and we had a blast. August is as dry as they come at the TV series front.

So i am clearing my oldies list with a Mr. Robot and the last season of The Office US run 🏃🏿‍♂️

Not sure I'll be able to do live-action series for the rest of the year. Hopefully, this year's grind pays off and I'm able to ease up and relax next year. Man was not made to hustle alone.

Basically the only series I'm catching as it drops that isn't anime will be Arcane S2

GloriousGbola:
You want to buy a blu ray or you want go Download a 4k hdr rip?

You know it's a pirate's life for me but I don't have a 4K TV yet so no point copping the 4K version

Disappointment really can be a blessing in disguise. My spoiler-dodging powers failed me with Deadpool and Wolverine but I now realize that if I had seen that movie at the cinema, I'd either have passed out and entered a coma or had to be admitted into a psychiatric hospital cos people fit think say my reactions na pure craze.

There needs to be a legal limit on the amount of fan service allowed in a single movie cos D&W could make a brother overdose on fan service.

I am now channeling all available funds to watching the BluRay release at home. Going to make it something of an event cos Ryan Reynolds went above and beyond with this one which is why he'll always be my GOAT.

Soooo, House of the Dragon S2 is over eh. What are we moving to next?

jasp12:
Pls where else can I download my hero academia season 2, animephe is giving error

Try gogotaku

If you told the WWE Universe in 2014 that they'd be popping hard for Roman Reigns in 2024, they'd have looked at you liked you needed to take your meds.

It only took a decade but my idolo is finally getting the respect I always knew he deserved.

abduleez1:
👀👀

My dude about to go get in the gym and get shredded again only for them to have him fully clothed for the entire movie 🤣😂🤣

kkins25:
Whatever you think is happening, it's all in your head.

Nothing wey person no go see for Obasanjo internet sha

kkins25:
That's its a very exciting anime.. Exciting in the sense that you become immersed in the character that each episode leaves u at the brink of tears... Currently on Episode 10 or so...

The character development is incredible too.. Whether sub or dub, the effect is the same.. Soundtracks are immaculate.. My God!!!!

You just said you weren't referring to the anime. Wetin dey occur for this World Wide Web sef? 🤦🏿‍♂️

pu7pl3:

Brokeloser:
Blue lock was good but Ao Ashi is objectively better, too bad there's no season 2 I'll have to check out the manga.

I thought I was getting tired of anime, something I previously thought impossible but after a sabbatical and two solid anime series and I realise it's not anime I was tired of it's shitty "anywhere belle face na front" anime that's the problem.

Ao Ashi appreciation, let's fücking go.

kkins25:
how? I wasn't referring to the anime, ya know?

What were you referring to then?

kkins25:
Every episode na so so cry cry😂😂.... If you get depression, stay clear... Na depressed MF write that thing😂

And so the misunderstanding of Violet Evergarden continues in 2024.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon getting a live-action adaptation was not on my 2024 bingo list. Hoping it'll be as good as Tokyo Vice.

Ryan should have sha waited for the box office run to be over before dropping this. Then again, he's a genius marketer and I'm not so maybe this will actually drive ticket sales up

Abduleez1 first look of Creature Commandos is out

We dey there live!!

Can't believe it's been nearly a decade. I can still remember picking up this new anime in 2016. Didn't realize how much I'd fall in love with it.

Boku no Hero Academia, you fücking King. I've absolutely enjoyed the ride so far and I'm with you till the very end and even beyond.
