Doesn't matter what the norm is. We have not seen or heard (so far) that Tony Elumelu grant is a scam. In fact it can't be. I have seen this grant change the lives of ordinary people, people so close to me. Without any connections, no godfathers, they simply applied and won the 5000 USD. Please don't generalize. Bad things exist yes, so does good things. You just have to look so you see the genuine people. Tony is one of the very few.
