Don't draw conclusions like buhari.
There are areas in lagos you live and you get a 50k job where your monthly transport to work is 50k

So does that make you a thief?

You dey mind am. Places like ikorodu and work is in the island. Penny wise pound foolish.

In my opinion, that friend of yours should just endure, though the salary seems small. He or she might be converted into a regular staff later. Most of the big organisations nowadays do this a lot.

The salary might be meagre but when other hidden benefits begin to show up, he'd be glad he took that job. The major problems most job seekers have nowadays is discontentment. Their mouths are so wide that they wouldn't mind earning 500k a month, as if it's so easy to create jobs. In the process, they end up at nothing. My sister inlaw started with a 40k salary as a contract staff with access bank. She was still single when she started, she joined immediately after completing her nysc. At the end of the month, hardly would she be able to save 10k cos transport would have gulped the chunk of it.

Barely 3 years into her employment with access, there was a circular from the head office, in which each departmental head was asked to recommend 2 diligent contract staff under them for an interview. There were some who had been there on contract for nearly 4 years before she joined them. Her boss recommended her. She also recommended a guy whom my inlaw met there. She said her boss lady was always strict on her, not knowing she was grooming her. In short, she passed the tests and interviews and was converted to a regular staff, through an internal job advert . She was posted to their call centre, the position she held until she joined another bank of South African bank's affiliate. I don't want to mention the name but people could guess with that description. She was posted to their call centre at ilupeju before she moved to a multinational finance company.

At times, starting very little pays because you never can tell of the robust benefits lying ahead.

Very well noted.

Survive as a word is relative in this context.

If you just eat may be twice a day, take bath, wash your clothes and avoid so many other things, yes you can survive.

Problem is that your life will be a bit restricted and you will not have to help anyone with money or carry any extra expenses. Least I forget please do not listen to church pastors that will be asking you to sow a seed.

Just be interested in yourself until God elevate you to a better job, then you can so many.

That's my point.. There are other responsibilities. Its is not that easy

My brother, sometimes it is not how much you earn. It is what you decide as your principle or what I call financial culture. If you are disciplined as a young man and inculcate the habit of saving in your everyday life, you will go far. Save and invest is the motto.

We often feel that you must jam a huge amount of money to become financially successful but it is wrong. The sum of N300,000 can be your seed capital for investment and after 4 years, your business can worth more than 20 million.

Op, tell your friend to save, invest and grow. Let him stay away from parasitic young women, drugs, alcohol, partying and useless fairweather friends

Thanks Buddy.. I appreciate your advise

Please want to ask is there any future complications when AA marries AS.

Studies shows that AA marries an AS is a good partnership and it ends up having kids with AA and AS which is good.

Please can someone survive a whole month with just 50k salary as a graduate.

I had a friend that just got employed in a big organization but he is placed on contract and 50k salary. Should he go ahead to take the Job or look elsewhere considering the deteriorating economy of Nigeria.

What's your advise on this guys.

My story

The so called office is beside a school( Great talent school), so i asked the gateman sitting infront of the school that i was going to Rybid consult so he directed me to the next building which is half painted in cream color, i got to the gate and i met a security guy, three guys and a lady standing infront of the gate so i told the gateman that i came for an interview and he asked to see the invite, i showed him on my phone, the guys standing beside him and the lady also confirmed the invitation and asked me to go in.

When i got in i saw that the compound was unkept, there was gravel on the floor, there were no windows on the building except the ground floor, no light or generator no proper office settings, and there was no name on the building

At the entrance to the reception 3 guys were also there and asked me for the invite, i showed it to them and they allowed me to the reception, when i got to the reception i met two ladies and they also asked for the invite i also showed it to them and they asked me to put down my details; name, phone number and time in( i arrived at 08:08am) i was the 17th person that arrived. I was about taking my seat when one of them approached me and he asked me to show him the invite again, he was looking unkept and his brown belt looks old and tired and I observed that some of them started coming out of no where and surrounded me and one of them pointed at her right direction and asked me to go in that direction on getting there i saw that the place is a hallway and 6 people where standing there like ushers giving me directions the last person was a lady, they were all smiling and welcoming me. I thought to myself that i have never been given this kind of preferential treatment for an interview and the place is so quiet, where are the 16 persons that entered before me? Why wasn’t i hearing a sound? Why is the place so quiet and slightly dark? Where are the laptops or computers?
These thoughts and questions kept coming when the last person asked me to come i was about taking a step I couldn’t, i felt so heavy and head grew bigger, i started shaking and my hands became very cold and then i turned back and ran outside from the reception, one of them ran after me telling me to please come for the interview that nothing will happen to me asking me what was wrong I didn’t look back until when i got outside the gate, i met another person that came for the interview I quickly brushed her and when she turned i gave an eye language, i sited another lady again and i went and stopped her pretending to know her that’s was when the lady that ran after me from the reception started quarreling with me saying am not suppose to stand outside and talk to anyone that it is not allowed, i told her the person was my course mate in school so she asked us to leave the premises so we moved and stood in front of the school, the same lady still came and told us that she is very sure we don’t know each other and that i was talking the girl out of the interview, we both looked at each and left the place with the with one other person.

You can check the address on google map you will see an uncompleted building looking like a church, am very sure they bought the building, completed it and are using it for their dubious works.

Be careful!

Thanks for sharing.. Scheduled interview with them on Monday is hereby placed on indefinite suspension till further notice.. Make person go waste tfare money in vain..
