Its called a BUDGET for a reason people. You forsee scenarios and select the most probable & compare the Actuals against the budget to know how you fared, there are costs budgeted for that may never be incurred. Bottom line is they never thought they'll leave Office.

Also, one man - 133 aides that may have had no pedigree what so ever, to earn 5m each. Until we begin to run the public sector like the private, we certainly will continue to run one of the most expensive governments in the world.

While you are at it, let me drop this here. I'm sure you must have heard of the PRESSID, its open to all first class graduates in Nigeria. It might interest you to know that a certain Private university has always had the highest number of selected candidates for the scholarship since its inception. Mind you, This scholarship is a federal government initiative and as such, private university students aren't obviously given any preferential treatment. Now this is a fact, you can look it up.

I may not be able to speak for the private uni, because, I am even shocked with way the roll out ist class in those private uni like , they just dash them for their high cost of schooling, tuition fees, accommodation, etc, etc.However, some students from private uni merit their ist class too.Do not get me wrong here.

--- What is there to be shocked about? These private unis have lecturers who do their jobs without embarking on frequent strikes, they are well remunerated and ultimately they give the students the marks they actually get. Also, students attend classes as attendance is a prerequisite for taking exams, students also have limited distractions etc.

I know for sure that they respond in batches, got a reply two nd a half weeks after I had my AC, which was almost in accordance with what HR said. Seen as you had yours in august, I guess you should just wait, pray, keep a positive spirit and expect your mail.

I'm nt ACA qualified yet, wit kpmg I dnt av to worry abt saving for dt out of my salary
Kpmg offers more days of study leave compared to 20 days EY offers.
And I put in so much effort in2 kpmg's recruitment whereas its like EY just landed in my laps with little effort from me.
I'm still looking into both firms, I haven't made a final decision. All d above is jst my own limited wisdom, I pray for God's guidance

I can relate to some of your points. Obviously u r for assurance/audit dept depending on the firm. Thanks for sharing and All the best in making your final decision.

Exactly my point. I'm speaking for the pastors who you are attacking. The people who gave, gave voluntarily so why should who they gave to and the magnitude of their givings be any ones concern.

People must always talk. I For one, even though I do not have a source to quote at this time, I can vehemently state that this news is not true. That been said, the people that decided to pay their tithes and offerings, were they coerced into doing so? Was a Gun put to their heads before they paid their offerings and tithes? Were they told by the pastors in charge that they were going to invest the money for them in some venture where they have stakes in? Had they not paid their taxes to the Government before willingly parting ways with their own money to the church?.... Then why should you be taking panadol for their headaches?

Everyone is entitled to decide how they want to spend their money. If I'm more comfortable giving 'My Money- the one I worked for, one which Your contribution is void', to the church than spending my money at the clubs or on other things I may not be drawn to, should I be crucified for that?

I think this is wrong. They are said to have about 250 employees in all. And yes, following last year, they employed 25 people.

You will be sent a topic to prepare your powerpoint presentation on and you will be expected to mail same to them latest a day before your assessment. In essence, there wont be a need to go with a flash drive or a laptop. They will have it on theirs for everyone.
