Foreign AffairsRe: Who Would Be Obamas Opponent In 2012 by KayDee4: 9:33pm On Feb 24, 2012
Romney still insists he would not have bailed out the auto industry.

Those repubs are all clowns, especially when they start talking like they've all got magic solutions to all the problems.

Imagine Gingrich promising $2.50/gallon of gas like he's going to accomplish that by mere word of mouf.

Santorum is starting to sound like a psycho extremist now,  with the Satan comment, the contraceptive drama and now the "Obama wants to send all kids to college to get them indoctrinated " story. The other day he said if he was president he would immediately order air strikes to destroy Iranian nuclear facilities, really !!! that easy ? meanwhile, Ron Paul is campaigning for "no more wars".

These guys are all over the place flip flopping like fishes on dry land.  grin grin

PoliticsRe: Nigeria To Invest $100 Billion In Oil And Gas Exploration by KayDee4: 9:49pm On Feb 23, 2012
chivo:
When will NNPC take over this oil exploration from this imperialist oil companies. Other countries like Brazil with help of their Petrobras,  while Iranians are been assisted by their own National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) which also known as the second largest oil company in the world after Saudi Arabia's state-owned Aramco that is also playing a vital in Saudi's oil explorations. What about Petronas of Malaysia, a national oil company with an international vision, when i read a book with the tittle " LOST BOYS OF SUDAN" i was amazed by the fact that even a Malaysian company was involved in Sudanese oil exploration, but for NNPC? what can we boost of?  In Venezuela, their oil exploration is dominated by Petroleos de Venezuela, same with Gulf countries, in Qatar- Qatargeneral petroleum corporation (QGPC), In Kuwait -   Kuwait petroleum corp.  (KOC) In UAE - Abu Dhabi national oil company (ADNOC) In Bahrain - bahrain national oil company (BANOCO) while in Oman - petroleum Development Oman Ltd. (PDO) and all can never be compared to our abysmal NNPC. For further research, also find out how many refineries each and every of the above mentioned countries have. That mighty answer the puzzle why United States can boost of over 153 refineries, perhaps they felt, that there is no need to have them in Nigeria, rather they made available Visa lottery in other to help them recruit workers that will be working over there. I stand to be corrected.
NNPC is already in charge as they control a major percentage of the oil (just like all other National Oil Companies).

Problem is how they manage the proceeds.

Car TalkRe: Over Speeding Is The Major Cause Of Accidents In Nigeria? by KayDee4: 3:16am On Feb 23, 2012
In Nigeria, I never really took notice of speed limit signs and just didn't know if they were there or not. But I knew when to apply common sense and regulate my speed and people should learn to do that, u dont always need the cops on your a.s.s to comply but I see people for instance, driving really fast on a wet and rainy day and I'm wondering . . . .   shocked shocked wurrafuckk   shocked shocked ? ? .

Me, I like to do James Bond moves and move fast though cos I believe I have to get off the road ASAP to avoid all the crazy and bad drivers and for security reasons too. I check all my tyres and engine fluids every weekend and I can tell you the locations of all the potholes on 3rd mainland bridge  grin and I pray and hope my tyre never goes 'pop' when I'm in motion.

Bottom line is , SPEED KILLS. It is easier to control a slower moving car than a fast one.
Car TalkRe: Over Speeding Is The Major Cause Of Accidents In Nigeria? by KayDee4: 7:02pm On Feb 22, 2012
As some people have already mentioned :
Bad roads
Bad Drivers -
Poorly maintained vehicles / Bad and worn out tyres.
Drunk Driving DUI
Poor lightning @ night
Loss of concentration while driving - calling, pinging, or texting behind the wheels (this is suicidal)

But over speeding crowns them all up because when you're driving on excessively high speed, it becomes harder for you to control your car in the potential event of an accident.

I have seen the tyre of a danfo bus in motion fly from the island bound lane of 3rd mnlnd bridge onto the mainland bound one, imagine your car moving at high speed and colliding head-on with the flying tyre.

I have driven under the influence a couple of times, bad though but that only makes me drive with greater caution than normal.

Imagine someone moving @ 120-140km/h and trying to type on the phone, the  minute you take your eye off the road is the minute you end up in the ditch.

Imagine driving very fast on a road you're not familiar with and suddenly seeing a deep pothole, by reflex, most drivers will swerve and a fast moving car hitting another fast one is equal to disaster.

A lot of accidents can be prevented by driving at moderate speed.

'Linsanity' is still in his early days, too early for comparisons. But he looks like he's gonna make it to the heights.

SportsRe: Dereck Chisora Slaps(!) Vitali Klishkov by KayDee4: 1:56am On Feb 20, 2012
Chisora is a rapscallion  grin , I just hope they don't take the fight to the streets (Tupac vs Biggie style) like he promised.

His promoters are all senseless for allowing a post-fight press conference degenerate into a nasty brawl. No one tried to stop him when he got up to get @ David.  David really ko ko'd him well and he was panting like a f0ol and claiming to have been glassed, Chisora's trainer doesn't even look like he can throw a proper punch. In the end Klitschko had the last laugh and a good one at that.  grin grin grin

EIGHT underformers getting paid every week! (and its a very generous list cos Benayoun, Arteta and Gervinho are not very effective). The financial success we use to console ourselves can definitely be improved on by actually making more effective use of wages bn paid.
I have never bn a sack-wenger advocate, but he sure could do better than keeping JD, SS and co.
Wenger must be mentally challenged to have offered DJ a contract extension. [/quote]I finally gave up on him after that.
