Has anybody gone through dropbox and got a 221G letter to schedule a follow up appointment and had difficulty in scheduling same for ONE MONTH due to date not comming up AT ALL on CGI Portal?

Hiya, email ustraveldocs with a copy of your passport bio-data page and a copy of the 221g letter that was sent to you. That way they should be able to respond to you faster.

congratulations @kayjay23, those of us that had our babies at HNWMC were told they don't give itemised receipt to self paying patients. how should we go about it?

Good afternoon fam.
I applied for a dropbox renewal after i had my baby in 2016...
VO: looks through then asks...Do you have an itemized receipt.
Me: no ma'am I wasn't given any by the hospital. All they gave me was a zero balance letter and another letter that stated that I paid my bill in full.
VO: leaves her seat for a while and comes back with a yellow paper. Ma'am at this time no decision has been reached on your application until you provide the itemized bill from the hospital.
On the yellow paper she wrote that I will need to provide the itemized bill from the hospital before further processing will continue. The yellow paper is to be submitted alongside my passport and itemized bill at dhl...
So na. so I waka today. Just thought to share.

Dear fam,
As a way of an update to the above.... I have been issued my visa after I submitted my itemized reciepts from the hospital. Na Godwin! May God continue to crown all our efforts with success. Amen!

I had same issue, just come time calling and sending mails. Also use the provide feedback option on the homepage of your profile,they respond faster there.

For Kayjay and everyone applying for visa I think honesty and God's Favour is all that you require. We filled our form diligently and we told them at the interview we were going to have our baby, the only document the consular asked for was our letter and communication with Doctoresparati, he asked how much we planned for the trip, where we will be staying and how long i plan to stay post birth . He said our visa has been approved and I should contact them if I need to stay beyond 6 months in US. The only country hubby and I have been to is Benin republic so our passport was not loaded with international trips.

No problem, i hope i can help as many people on this forum as i was helped too.

1. I had the letter of medical responsability and was instructed to tell the truth by doctoresparati. Although i did have the letter i was not asked for it. Yes, a little bit of luck too,
2. The truth
3. New York, entry was very easy and i also prepaid my medical expenses which was very helpfull at POE because i was asked to prove my solvency for which I had my receipt from doctoresparati. I recommend that everybody prepay if possible
4. Yes. As stated above. I only paid the obstetric fees ($2500)
5. I arrived at 34 weeks

The invitation letter was my exact same problem since I had family and friends in other cities but wanted to use Doctoresparati in El Paso. Once you enroll you will receive a letter of medical responsability/invitation from them which is basically the same same but from a medical institution, although it does state in their website that nothing guarantees your visa (which I also appreciate the honesty). It doesnt make sense that someone would invite you and you not go so their city so this letter from them is also the best option.
