Broilers are more acceptable than Noilers. If it was just about business and money, I would not even touch Noilers at all...it is just cos they fascinate me. People don't even know what Noilers are at this point, so they price them very low cos the chickens look like local chickens.

they eat as much as broilers, really! and the FCR is way less than that of broilers.
-one will wait for almost 16 weeks to raise some perfect birds for what?
-another issue I've got as to that, the birds are not really known that well. so it's hard fpr customers to buy them. I'll selling the females as old layers, that's what I told folks. they are old layers, buy n go.

the only advantage I've got is that they stood out. one get to see broilers in their thousands at the market but only a few noilers.

Very true. People don't really know them. I tried to explain to some market women that they are a hybrid...like a cross between local chickens and Broilers, it was like I was speaking jargon. They thought some of the Noilers were local chickens, they thought some were Cockerels, and thought the females were old layers. I just left it at that. It can be frustrating. I think the best thing would be to sell it killed and dressed to frozen food people or restaurants who buy per KG.

My noilers hardly stay quiet like yours here. Very hard to take their weights with the camera. My wife will place them on the scale while i try to take the shots with a camera and in a second or two, they have jumped off.

Haha! Same with mine. It took me and my bother several minutes before we could take the pictures. You can see my brother's hand ready to catch them as they jump off the scale in some of the pictures.

Pictures of my 11 weeks Noilers weighing average of 1.8kg. Sorry my phone camera is not so sharp, but if you look well, you would see the chickens weigh pretty close to 2kg.


My next mission will be getting Noilers to 3.5kg in 14 weeks.

At 8 weeks, I get about 1.6kg on some of my noilers but some are like 800g.

That's great. It is really just that difference in size that is the big problem with Noilers.

Yippee! I made it. They are 11 weeks today, and the biggest one of them is 1.9kg. The only downside is that the females are still small...weighing just about 1.3kg averagely. If they could make it that you could buy females separately, and males separately, Noilers would be a great breed.


Most of the male are 1.8 kg and above. I will upload pictures of them on the scale this afternoon. I believe if fed well, Noilers can get to 4kg. Because this ones still looks really small, but when you put them on scale, you will be surprised at their weight. I moved my Noilers to Lagos two days ago, and in my family house, my brother has a Gigantic looking cockerel. The cockerel looked two times the size of my chickens, but when I put it on the scale, it weighed just 2.1kg. Just a few hundred grams heavier than mine.

Denrele has come a long way...i don't think insults from people get to him any longer.

I was actually going to make the title- '10 Ways to Make 100k in 7 Days' but I couldn't come up with ten ways to make 100k in 7 days. Hmm! It boggles my mind. So, anyway, I would need help from my fellow Nairalanders on this. I am going to write on 3 ways to make 100k within 7 days, but you can add more ideas. This article might really help someone out there in this recession.


Below are three ways to make 100k in 7 days.


1. Sell an Information
Yea, this is called info marketing. For example, I personally know how men can last longer in bed, so I wrote a book on it, and sell to men that need that information. I used to advertise the book on Facebook, but now I just either leave the link to the sales page in my Nairaland signature, or leave the link in my comment on Linda Ikeji's blog. I sell the book at N5,000...selling 20 copies in one week will give me 100K.

So, to break it down. Find answer to a problem a lot of people have, put that answer in writing, and sell as an eBook to buyers. You can use the marketing ideas I spoke about above, or you can use paid advertising, and advertise on Facebook, Google, or even your daily newspaper. Ideas on what information to sell? How to remove stretchmarks naturally. How to make money online. How to get a job with an oil company. How to get a Canadian visa...etc. Be creative. And the book does't have to be long. My ebook for one minute men is just ten pages.


2. Sell Some of Your Valuables
If you desperately need that 100k, and you are sure what you want to use the 100k for would bring more money, I don't see anything wrong in selling some of your valuable items like- your laptop, your phone, some of your clothes, your shoes, your TV, etc. Just advertise it on Nairaland, and I am sure you would get people to buy in no time.


3. Offer a Service
I am sure there is something you can do that a lot of people can't. Till this day, there are still hundreds of thousands of people that want to own a blog that don't know they can get a blog for free. Offer to open one for them for a fee (maybe charge N5,000).

Are you good with software and know how to repair software problems of phones, advertise your service on Nairaland, and ask people to come with their problems, and offer to help them repair their phones for a reduced fee.



As I said, I got stuck coming up with ideas, but I am sure someone reading this might have more ideas that other people reading this would learn from. So, please share. None of us is as intelligent as all of us.

I will be honest, it ain't easy at all. Most of the people saying it is easy probably have low sex drive. It ain't easy, but it can be done for a short period of time.
.. Like 4-6 weeks of complete abstinence. During this period, you can engage in heavy work or exercises that zap your energy. Trust me, if you do 100 press ups, sex will be the last thing on your mind that day.

Do something that would take up your time and energy. You see, sexual urge is a form of energy, and energy can neither be created nor destroyed, but it is transformed from one form to another. So, do something that will transform/transmute that sexual energy. I have listed some options below, which you can choose from.


#Exercise
You can do press-ups...maybe like 50 press-ups. It will zap that sexual urge fast. And it would also help you stay healthy and get a great body.

#Take a Stroll
When you do this, your mind wonders on many things, and this helps reduce the sexual urge energy.

#Develop a Hobby You are Passionate About
Engaging in activities you are passionate about also helps. It could be playing scrabble, playing video games, watching horror movies, watching football, etc.

#Clean the House
