Good day people. I need 10-15 four weeks old broilers in Ibadan. They should be well vaccinated and should be RTO or Obasonjo chicks. Please if you have I would appreciate if you can leave pictures of them here. I need birds that have lots of feathers and come out very white. I need them on Saturday. Thank you.

My advice is go for obj marshal u can find out the result from those who have tried it.
It gives pure white colour very good height and massive body weight
For ur cost from Doc to 10wks budget 1300 on each bird this budget will allow u to feed ur birds massively anytime they are hungry for very good market result I don't believe in quantity per wk consumption in broilers[b] cos the more they are able to eat the more profitable they are in the shortest target time but when u put them on feeding target it's not the best [/b]cos u will contribute to slowing down their growth when they are ready to grow faster

So the budget I gave u covers the cost of Doc, drugs and and any other direct cost. But Howfar with recent feed hike the cost my move up as feed goes up.

I'm summary you need minimum of 500,000 to raise 500 broilers to 10 weeks but if you go with a fast breed Like Amo, RTO, you could sell from 5 weeks

Thanks. That's what I had in mind. And about the breeds, are you sure Amo broilers are that fast growing? And what else can you say about the RTO breed? Actually, the people I plan selling the birds too would love very white and tall birds- that's my target. I am looking for the broiler breed that can give me these results.

Is Buhari dead? That seems to be question on the minds of majority of Nigerians right now. The Nigerian president went on a two week holiday in UK last week, and news from the presidency before his departure was that he was also going to have a medical checkup while abroad. And a few days after he departed, the rumors started.




There have been different versions of the rumor. Some said he went for an organ transplant and died during the operation. Others said he died of cardiac arrest. While some others said he committed suicide. What are we to believe, right? And people are buying into these stories because they haven't seen enough proof to convince them otherwise. Maybe if they saw the president holding up a current newspaper in a live video they would stop buying into the rumors. But I am guessing Buhari feels the rumors are to petty for him to pay attention to. Well, he is scheduled to be back in a few days, so I guess it is only a matter of time before everyone knows the truth.



Personally, I do not believe he is dead. He has too enemies that have the power and connections to get solid intelligence, and if Buhari was truly dead, those individuals would have made it their mission to spread the story, unadulterated, to the people. I know someone like Fayose (current Governor of Ekiti state) would most likely have spearheaded spreading this rumor of Buhari's death if Buhari was really dead. Think about it...the man has been wishing the president dead since even before Buhari became the elected president in 2015. Just before the 2015 presidential elections, Governor Fayose went ahead to do a full page ad in the dailies that cost him millions, warning Nigerians that Buhari might die any time soon.




As I said above, I guess it is a waiting game for us right now. We will know for sure in about a week whether president Muhammadu Buhari is alive or dead.

For now, it has to be grower feed. I don't think I might keep them for long but if I do, I might have to give layer mash at week 22 onwards.

Hmm! Interesting. The smallest of my female Noilers started making that sound this morning. Let's see how it goes.

If I may ask, why do you plan to give them layer mash at week 22 onward? Layer mash is more expensive than grower feed. I would like to see pics of your birds. I sold two of my male Noilers today...2.2kg and 2.1kg in size.

0-4 weeks = 30 bags of 25kg
5-8 weeks = 40 bags of 25kg
9-10 weeks= 30 bags of 25kg

The Cobb 700 is the most efficient breed available while Marshal is known for been tall and heavy weight

Good day people, I need help from experts. I have access to some funds, and I want to go into poultry large scale (at least larger than I was doing before). I have a pen to use already, I just want to have an idea of how much it would take me to raise 500 day old broilers to maturity.

I know 500 day old broilers would cost me about 100k, but what of the other expenses?

#How much for feeding them from 0 to 8 weeks?

#How much will I spend on drugs?

#If I want to get a helper in a place like Ibadan, how much will I pay the person monthly?
