This incident happened in Owerri and it was already a forgotten issue, do you know how many police men have died in armed robbery incident in Owerri after that one? Do you another policeman last week Saturday was killed by armed robber at school road, its getting rampant in Owerri, and police don't celebrate the dead, it's only when you are alive to tell the story.

The first of the thieves to be aimed was the guy in white. Watch the video carefully and see, if u have a sharp eyes you will see the bullet passed him by. The target was missed and then comes the mopol again firing the ground 2 times before the driver moved forward abit.

I believe the first mopol man that left the post b4 the robbers entered was the first to aim the guy in white from outside b4 the other mopol inside the post fired.

As a trained marksman sergeant iboko made few mistakes.
1, he did not access the situation properly. There were two other officers with him, so no point panicking. You access and then engage. The two armed robbers that alighted from the vehicle shot sporadically, and advanced towards the target. (Money)The gun shot that reeled out from post, alerted the robbers attention.

The first target was to take out the driver...

2, he could have remained in his post, all advantage tilted towards his direction.

The robber behind, his role was to engage people from the outside, if he remained pinned down, at least his life would have been saved.

He didn't av any advantage staying in that room any longer after shooting that robber dead.
He wud av been outgunned and "outbulletted"(pardon my English) in a confined space as that.
D guy sitted at d back of d car that shot him was either a former military/policeman or a very experienced robber because if u play back u wud notice 2 things:
(1)He was d one that used his gun butt to shatter d glass to create a wide and good view to fire from.
(2)D same guy soon as he saw shots ring out from d police post didn't panick or rush out,as his dead colleague, but just laid almost flat on d backseat to avoid any bullet & being sited,waiting for d right moment,as if he knew d mopol wud come out.It takes an experienced person in d gun battle biz to be that calculative and calm,even wen u see ur fellow robber gunned down.
So mopol Igboko was right to leave that almost suicidal security room,dont forget also he cudnt av known it was just one other robber and an experienced one at that,that was confronting him,hence his sporadic shots just to create a cover.I assume he assumed they were more than one in d car blazing with guns so he had to find an escape route which was d best choice he felt he had in that life or death scenario.

That room has no other exit, all hell would have been let loose on that room. The robbers would have finished every living and non living thing in there, because he had killed one of their own.

You mean there were two other police men inside the security post? OP fear God naaa. Were they sleeping while all these were happening? Even when the guys drove off, nothing came out of that post.

The man died that same day at FMC and not two months later, and he has since being buried. He has a wife and family too.

As an experience police officer u don stay inside the banking premises or in the security post instead u hang around with ur gun hiding beside u especially if there is a restaurant or bar around d bank and observe everything going on from your angle there.
You no y? Bcus it will enable u be the first to attack your enemies wen ever they come around.
It will also allowed u to call for help with immediate alacrity, also u are in a safer position which will enable u to escape n save ur life.

so sad...bravest nigerian caught on tape, nigeria police havnt arrested the robbers yet with the cctv evidence ...trust NYPD to be at the robbers doorstep after watching that video

The robbers believed so much in their jazz....the dead criminal bastard thought the mopol was already gunned down and his chewing stick odeshi failed him.

I think they were all on odeshi but one failed. which is y he had the moral to work into the security post. I also think d police guard is on odeshi too.

What baffles me is how the driver confidently came out of his driving seat, unarmed as bullets raged past him.

And then, walked toward their marks area.

I'm happy that over confident fool was dropped by the door though.

And to think this armed robbers are well dressed looking corporate beats my imagination, which was why the security man allowed them in.
Check out the clothes and their skin like real business merchants. Looks can be deceptive. I just hope the police can work on this using facial recognition to fish them out. Their dead colleague on the ground can be good source of investigation as well.
