As much as I believe in rule of law and I wish it is respected in Nigeria unfortunately our courts are corrupt and baised and I don't think they deserve to be respected. If we continue to listen to the way these thieves that have looted this country and have our blood soaked in their hands there will be no progress in getting them to book becuz our courts have been manipulated for their selfish interest such as stopping their trials and given grants to travel abroad for treatment... Only the poor are judged in Nigeria while the rich get away Scot free with their crimes. Our courts are nothing but a charade.

Well, even if the election was conducted in a free and fair environment fayose will still win...becuz ekiti people who are supposed to be one of the most educated people in Nigeria and should know better are hungry and hunger bad....fayose knows this and he has given them stomach infrastructure at the expense of their development....
Howver, the military and ministers culprit involved should be brought to book.

Its bad enough the govt is just keeping quiet on this fuel issue without addressing the citizens.

Good move but the fines are just not defined by any standard. I hope we are not sending wrong messages to investors and employers of labour, cos I know employees lay off are usually indirect effect of these punitive actions.

We have labor laws here that govern this multinationals it's just that they have been dormant for a while and it gives these guys reasons to behave anyhow or even evade tax...I'm sure Nigige will activate this...All those Lebanese and Indians treating Nigerians working for them like slaves will wake up. The truth is they won't leave Naija no matter the fines because their market is here and we also have the human resources. Look at the oil companies no matter how much they were kidnapped and their pipelines destroyed them still remain they go PH and dem still remain for Naija. I hope Nigeria local content (nnpc) in the oil and gas will also bring their search light in these ioc and also design multinational firms.

I won't stoop low to respond to you either by insult or intellectual opinons because you don't even know me and I don't know you either..but I will respond to your blab about my thesis...by God's grace I completed my Msc program 2006 had my Ph.d two year after and today I'm an associate prof consulting on environment management and HSE for one of the top subsea drilling oil firms in the US....With branches in UK, Nigeria, Canada, Norway and Brazil....it's a shame that some of us take every opportunity to show how bitter or dark hearted a people we are...

Do you mean the inability of the FG to maintian the federal roads in south east bcs interms of inferstructures, standard of living, Education, south east is ahead of south western states. You can compare Anambra to ogun state, enugu to ekiti, ebonyi to Osun. I don't want to include northern state bcs those guys are jokers.

I av had to opportunity to live in both regions. Ekiti is the poorest state in the south west while ebonyin is the poorest in the east I know this because it was part of my study thesis during my masters program....now speaking of education it will be unfair to compare eastern education with south west....in ekiti for example...has the highest professors, PH.D holders and scholars than any state in Nigeria and even west Africa...I can't say for Africa. Now you cannot compare the interior roads in both states to each other....and same goes for infrastructure. This comparison applies to all the states in the south west and eastern states....level of education, roads and infrastructure...keeping in mind an open unbiased mind. If you speaks of individuals business acumen...I give it to the east but.not education, roads (I'm not speaking about Fed roads I'm writing about states roads) and then infrastructure...The truth is that leadership in the west is better than in the east. Don't forget free education originated from the west courtesy awolowo and that is what Rochas emulates now for the people of imo state.
