chukwudi44: Buhari/Osibanjo have declared their assests to the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) it is left for CCB to declare their assets publicly after verification of claims and then the citizens can take the opportunity to approach the courts to request for that information from CCB since buhari is a public officer and by law he is required to submit his assets to CCB for verification. As for the declaration of assest to the public by the governors....i guess it is in the consitution for public officers nigerian constituion chapter 6 part 1 section 149 to declare their assest to the masses.... i dont think it is the fear of PMB because they enjoy immunity which i think is killing this country. Oga dansuki...today you are singing against your former employer jonthan talking about how you supported buhari get his mandate and tomorrow you are singing you being witch hunted because of 1985 coup which everyone knows you are not the only military officer that took part in the arrest of buhari....even the leader of the coup IBB is not being persecuted. .....are you a kennry bird singing to the press? abeg save us the wailings...dansuki, with the way you are going about your predicament....it is obvious you have skeletons in your cupboard to hide and you are trying to take advantage of the democratic dispensation and diversity in opinions to whip public sympathy. You must give account for the billion of dollars allocated to your office as defence budget and answer all the questions why fairly used military hard ware was bought as against new ones and why our gallant army was afraid fight boko haram because they lacked the right equipments...imagine the nigerian army running because he ran out of bullets or our Apc armoured tanks breaking down at war front because na tokunbo engine dem buy? Very sad indeed. And believe it you will do your time in jail if found gulity of the crime. You can't make wife's widows and children fatherless because of your greed and corruption. I cant blame buhari on this probe...apparrently there is no money for him to work with... hence...he needs to at least get our money back from the immediate past govt which runs into a tune of 150billion dollars (lets imagine that 100 dollars = 100 naira... which is not anyways.... A bunlde of 100 naira notes is just 10k then imagine it in a million..then figure out the size in 150 billion dollars)...that is alot of money  he needs the money to even pay salaries as of now....even some of the amnesty guys have not been paid because there is no money. if he decides to probe the whole generations of past govt then he wont work throughout his 4yrs. Jonathan too should have probed when he had his time. we need to fight this monster corruption. When the next govt comes in let them also be probed Anyways...there is no cause for alarm...even PDP supports him on this. |

Beremx:. I don't think he is doing this to score political points. Remember the presidential jets are official planes for hi office. The wife of the president is not an elected office and it's not recognised by the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria. We should learn to do this the right way in this country and not abuse offices. My wife can't be using the official car of my company for personal use like going to market etc just because I work there. It is wrong. Besides we are cutting cost the maintenance and cost of use of those planes are high. So I personally give him kudus for this decision 4 Likes 1 Share |

It's nothing to be surprised about.....when buhari himself was going to UK before the elections and even few days to his inauguration as president he didn't fly via VIP atleast I saw him once during those occasions. Let's learn to do things rightly in this country without sentiments..... Besides have u seen he state of the PH airport. The arrivals is a dirty old looking canopy and it's a national disgrace to us as expertraites coming to do business in the oil rich state can only wonder in amusement. Just imagine this kind of news.....how can dasuki be claiming witch hunt when his driver stole money meant for protecting life and citizen courtesy of him.... i really dont even care if Dasuki's arrest is a vendatta motive. He and IBB's coup got us here in the first place. IBB legalized corruption in Nigeria. He took it to aother level then Annualled the June 12 and gave us Ernest Shonekon #babanoregret and offcourse we know the rest of the story with Abacha. Anyways, that said Dasuki should account for every military budget he was given. |
