If it's new registration, you have to go to INEC office for biometric capture to complete the process |
How to know if you have successfully registered on the INEC PVC system and also know your polling unit. Visit www.voters.inecnigeria.org Input your surname, first name and date of birth then search for your records on the system. If the portal is being too slow, then use the other option Visit cvr.inecnigeria.org Sign Up, verify your email then Login to the portal Go to COLLECT YOUR PVC Input your surname, first name and date of birth then search for your records on the system. This second option pulls out your details faster than the first option but it requires a first time sign up to the portal. Once you see your details, screenshot it, that's all you need to vote, even if you haven't collected your PVC, with that information, you can still vote. Please note that you can use your portal to search for yourself and for others around you. Please Share this for others to see and do same. Thank you |

rontolo:The best way to support right now is to donate vehicle (one or more) to mobilize guys with laptops to INEC registration centers to help people with the continuous voter registration, I really don't understand why alot of people don't know that this INEC registration can be done online, over 50% of people there are not there for new registration but to transfer their polling units to somewhere closer, the only thing that is not going online now is the new voter registration, all other things like transfer, update, change of information, etc are all going online, and am sure with this new extension given, INEC will reopen the new registration online by end of this month. So these vehicles will serve for mobility to INEC offices where there are much people, let's get them registered cos these are young people that are rooting for Peter Obi. After the Registration is done and finally closed, the vehicles will be converted to campaign vehicles for Peter Obi |

How to calculate Total Cost of Clearing vehicles - The e-Valuation Way Example of how to calculate the Import Duty of your vehicle, let’s say Toyota Highlander 2015. SOLUTION: The CIF Value of a used Toyota Highlander 2015 is usually around $9,333 based on the e-Valuation system. Please NOTE that you have to complete your vehicle's VREG through your preferred clearing agent before the Trade Portal can pull out the duty payable for your vehicle, the value given to a similar vehicle can also be used to determine yours. Also NOTE that any agency you used for the VREG will have to be the same agency that will punch and assess the work for duty payment. The exchange rate the Nigerian Custom Service (NCS) uses at the moment is N408.77. The Rate of Duty for Vehicles is currently 20% of CIF Value. So let’s convert the CIF Value to Naira, $9,333 X 408.77 = N3,815,050.41 Let’s get the 20% of N3,815,050.41. Which is N3,815,050.41 X 0.20 = N763,010.082 Now N763,010.082 is your Import duty which is called the surface value. This surface value is no longer negotiable since the introduction of the e-Valuation, whatever you get is what you pay. After the surface value is known, the next is to add these other charges to get the total amount you will pay as Custom duty. Click Here to see surface values for other vehicles (LEVY is 15% of CIF) (SUR is 7% of Surface Value) (ETL is 0.5% of CIF) VAT is 7.5% of (CIF + Surface Value + LEVY + SUR + ETL) Instead of all these long calculations above, you can simply multiply our surface value with a constant value of 2.36 That will give us N763,010.082 X 2.36 = N1,800,703. This is your total import duty. We will keep coming up with new constant values as the variables changes with time. Other Charges Includes: These are estimated values based on experience Shipping company & Terminal Charges - Budget N120,000 (Excluding Demurrage and Non-starter Charges) Agency Fee is N100,000 (This also covers for VREG, Punching & Signing, CRFFN and Others) Visit our office address on this website or meet us at Tincan Island with a copy of your Bill of Lading / Telex Release let’s start the process and clear your vehicle today. Call / WhatsApp us on 08024102554 We'll strongly recommend u visit our office in person or send someone to come and see exactly how everything is being done here, once the car has been cleared and released from terminal, we hand it over to you. Example of how to calculate the Import Duty of your vehicle, let’s say Toyota Highlander 2015. SOLUTION: Based on the e-Valuation system, the CIF Value of a used Toyota Highlander 2015 is usually around $9,327. The exchange rate the Nigerian Custom Service (NCS) uses at the moment is N422.3 and The Rate of Duty for Vehicles is currently 20% of CIF Value. So let’s convert the CIF Value to Naira: $9,327 X 422.3 = N3,938,792.1 Let’s get the 20% of N3,938,792.1 Which is N3,938,792.1 X 0.20 = N787,758.42 Now N787,758.42 is your Import duty which is called the surface value. This surface value is no longer negotiable since the introduction of the e-Valuation, whatever you get is what you pay. After the surface value is known, the next is to add these other charges to get the total amount you will pay as Custom duty. LEVY is 15% of CIF (N3,938,792.1 X 0.15) = N590,818.81 SUR is 7% of Surface Value (N787,758.42 X 0.07) = N55,143.08 ETL is 0.5% of CIF (N3,938,792.1 X 0.005) = N19,693.96 VAT is 7.5% of (CIF + Surface Value + LEVY + SUR + ETL) = N404,415.47 Instead of all these long calculations above, you can simply multiply our surface value with a constant value of 2.36 to get total import duty payable, that will give us N787,758.42 X 2.36 = N1,859,109. This is your total amount payable as import duty to NCS account. Click Here to see CIF values for other vehicles. We will keep coming up with new constant values as the variables changes with time. Other Charges Includes: (Shipping Company & Terminal Charges + Agency Fee) Shipping company & Terminal Charges + Agency Fee. For Vehicles below 15 CBM, Salon Cars of all kinds - Budget N250,000. This also covers for VREG, Punching & Signing, CRFFN and Others (Excluding Demurrage Charges). For Vehicles up to 25 CBM like Vans, SUV, Jeep, Pick-up - Budget N300,000. This also covers for VREG, Punching & Signing, CRFFN and Others (Excluding Demurrage Charges) Visit our office address on this website or meet us at Tincan Island with a copy of your Bill of Lading / Telex Release let’s start the process and clear your vehicle today. Itsrm:I prefer the e-Valuation more cos it gives us prices uniformity and it also afford me the privilege to stay anywhere and process over 60% of the whole clearing process, I may only need to visit the port when I want to take delivery, but notwithstanding, we'll still be going there |
Customs, Stakeholders Finally Reach Consensus, Set to Reinstate VIN Valuation The Nigeria Customs Service on Thursday said the commencement of Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) valuation system would take effect from Saturday, May 20, 2022. The Customs Area Controller of Apapa Command, Comptroller Malanta Yusuf, made this disclosure at stakeholders' meeting in Apapa. The technological system which is expected to promote trade facilitation has also been amended to reflect the reduction in tariffs. In his remarks, Comptroller Festus Okun, the Customs Area Controller of Ports Terminal Multiservices Limited (PTML) Command said the NCS through the VIN valuation has imbibed basic principles of taxation which include predictability, neutrality, simplicity and efficiency. Comptroller Kunle Oloyede of Tin Can Island Port, described VIN as a platform for robust gathering of statistical analysis and data for national economic purposes relying on the template of accuracy that will further integrate NCS with other ministries, departments and agencies. Comptroller Hammi Swomen of Kirikiri Lighter Terminal Commands who sought more cooperation from all stakeholders added that sincere declarations without tampering with relevant information contained in Single Goods Declaration or mismatching information will aid in quicker clearance and seamlessness of the VIN system. Also speaking at the event, Comptroller Anthony Udenze of the Tariff and Trade Department at customs headquarters urged vehicle importers and their agents to avoid acts that would delay the process of clearing. He explained that the process of identifying salvage and accident vehicles under the VIN regime will be very transparent as the declarant would be expected to attach photos showing the accidented vehicles. He further explained that for vehicles to be treated as accidented, the chassis must be affected by the accident not just by removing fenders, bumpers and headlamps. However, Kayode Farinto, Acting National President of Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) called for true declaration and compliance on the part of his colleagues. According to him, the e- release which is applicable to only new vehicles could be extended to used vehicles if importers and agents increase their compliance levels. |

Customs to Reinstate VIN Valuation After Reaching Agreement With Stakeholders The Nigeria Customs Service said the VIN Valuation process is set to be fully reinstated in the month of May 2022 assuring that stakeholders will be satisfied with the incorporated ideas and suggestions from their end. The Nigeria Customs Service made this known in a stakeholders' meeting held at Customs headquarters in Abuja. Stakeholders from ANLCA, NAGAFF, Association of Auto Dealers of Nigeria and others were invited to get a first-hand look at the reviewed version of the VIN VALUATION process which incorporates all their observations and reflects discounted values consistent with the make and models of all vehicles in the system. Recall, at the launch of VIN Valuation in February, a good number of stakeholders voiced their displeasure about its objectivity while pointing out that the values used did not accurately factor in annual depreciation as required for used vehicles. Following their complaints, and in line with Article 2 of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement, the Comptroller General of Customs, Col. Hameed Ali (RTD) deemed it necessary to send a delegation comprising two members of management, Assistant Comptroller General of Customs, Hamza Gumi and, Saidu Galadima to engage stakeholders in a town hall meeting in Lagos. This occasion provided stakeholders with the opportunity for airing their grievances and the articulation of possible solutions that will meet the expectations of all parties. The outcome of the town hall meeting held in Lagos led to an approval for a 30-day moratorium by the Comptroller General of Customs. This gave room for a review of the VIN VALUATION protocol, aimed at incorporating all their observations while allowing for the manual release of vehicles in the interim. During the meeting at the Customs Headquarters, Comptrollers Import/Export Musa MBA and Valuation Anthony Udenze stressed the importance of transparency and honesty in declarations made by agents and importers. They appreciated the efforts of the associations in articulating the concerns of their members and stressed the need to inform them of the progress made so far. Meanwhile, Customs National Public Relations Officer, Deputy Comptroller Timi Bomodi also stated that the Service is interested in the enhancement of the user experiences of all its stakeholders and the improvements in the VIN Valuation protocol serve as a testament to that claim. While responding to Bomodi, a representative of one of the associations Mr Kayode Farinto expressed delight as to the final result of the review. He appealed for constant engagement between NCS and stakeholders to reduce the likelihood of conflicts in future. |
Itsrm:All quotes are estimated values based on similar works done before, that doesn't mean your vehicle will or must incure exactly same cost but very similar, it might be higher or lower, when it's lower the agent benefits from it, when it's higher, the agent reaches out to client for interim valuation, however the best way to know exactly what your vehicle will cost is by sending your bill lading let's go for valuation with it, that way we can be sure of exactly what this vehicle will cost us to clear. Going for valuation with bill lading is free, nobody will charge u for that. You can also come let's go together. |

Thanks for that, we are not same but in a place like Nairaland where powers of thread owners are restricted, there is nothing anyone can do about it, any client that wants to deal with any of us will contact us directly irrespective of who and who has posted on our thread. I think this place is more like an open source market, the more reason I've set up my own website where only me has the power to do as I wish to, and some of my works are there, once the e-Valuation issue is put to rest, I'll return with new details on the process then work starts fully based on that. Thanks, I really appreciate |
