Cleared from ENL Terminal, Apapa Port Contact me if u have vehicles to clear from the port They are actually 9 trucks. We're done with this work
|
scholarseyi:See this one below, its $3,506. Please note that exchange rate is now 405/USD. all other variables remains constant. This value is negotiable, but i think this is the least acceptable for a 2010 Lexus if we get it at this rate, then the calculation will be $3,506 X 405 X 0.35 X 1.38 = N685,826.19 Add N300,000 for other charges = (N685,826.19 + N300,000) = N985,829.19 Please note that this cost does not include demurrage incurred, if your vehicle has incurred demurrage, u will pay for that separately

owo4mii:Thanks sir u are right, all of these will also be put into serious considerations but the best we can do is what is humanly possible, besides the theft at the terminal is not as rampant as we make it look like stuff gets stolen from every vehicle that lands terminal, from my observation they mostly take things from vehicles that has stayed longer in the terminal... Anyway i'll do what i have to do when its time sha. Thanks i appreciate. |
@cmoney22222, the best way to avoid that is to clear the vehicle as soon as it lands, we can start by getting valuation before the car lands so that when it lands we'll just punch, pay duty and finish the rest in 2 or 3 days |
Let's Calculate The Total Cost Of Clearing Your Car From Tincan Island Port - UPDATED on This 12th Day of July, 2021 In this thread we will be treating the total cost of clearing cars at the Tincan Island Port via RORO or Containerized. Example of how to calculate the Import Duty of your car, lets say Toyota Corolla 2004. SOLUTION The CIF Value of Toyota Corolla 2004 is $1,886. Please note that this CIF Value is usually in USD and the exchange rate the NCS uses at the moment is N405. The Rate of Duty for Vehicles is currently 35% of CIF Value. So lets convert the CIF Value to Naira, $1886 X 405 = N763,830 Lets get the 35% of N763,830. Which is N763,830 X 0.35 = N267,340.5 Now N267,340.5 is your Import duty which is called the surface value. To get the total amount u are to pay to NCS account including VAT, Surcharge & ETLS, we have to multiply our surface value with a constant value of 1.38 So N267,340.5 X 1.38 = N368,929.89 This is your total import duty Other Charges Includes: Clearing Agent Fee is between N80,000 to N100,000 and its opened for negotiations if the vehicle to clear are more than one. Shipping company Fee, Terminal Charges, Release & Gate + all other miscellaneous payments made to custom officers, budget around N100,000 to N250,000 (Estimate) depending on the vehicle model, the newer the model the higher the cost. This does not include demurrage should the vehicle incur demurrage charges. To know the clearing cost of other vehicles, just ask me for the CIF value of the car and I'll respond with it then u can do the calculation yourself or I can do the calculation and give u the final value in Naira if u want me to. Visit our office at Tincan Island with photocopy of your Bill of Lading / Telex Release lets start the process and clear your car today. Call or WhatsApp me on 0 8 0 2 4 1 0 2 5 5 4 We'll strongly recommend u visit our office in person or send someone to come and see exactly how everything is being done from office to office, once the car has been cleared and released from terminal, we hand it over to u. |

cmoney22222:Inconsistencies in custom valuation and accumulated demurrage (If any) cannot allow me give u exact price to clear it, but budget around N1.2m or thereabout. The best thing is come down with photocopy of your bill of lading, this will enable us get exact valuation for your vehicle and also determine the ship's arrival date. The way i do my job is, i run everything for you, you pay everything we need to pay then balance me my service charge. Grimaldi Line = N80,000 Sallaum Line = N100,000 Every Other thing, you will pay them. Custom valuation is not a stable price thing, it can be negotiated. |

Ayo7:Sorry am just seeing this, the thing is i've stopped giving quotes, if u have bill of lading come let's go for valuation, the value that will come out is what we'll use to calculate the rest, the inquiry is free, u are not paying for that. |

|
obinna37:By the time NERC is done with the regulations at hand now, we just hope people are given a choice to either apply and pay for meter or apply and wait for the free meter, by then, the choice will be yours. But in whichever way, application fee is constant. You will have to pay for that. |
obinna37:The answer to this is already stated in the first post of this thread. |
HenryWilliams:Just follow and do whatever that pleases you. |
Prepaid meters are not like phone and sim card that can be bought anywhere and any how, this one has a process that must be followed, if u must use prepaid meter in Nigeria, u must follow the lengthy processes involved in it (which is about 3 months plus) but if u think the processes are too stressful and lengthy, then u are free to go ahead and fall into wrong hands, which is what most Nigerians have been doing then comes back to call everyone in the business scam. |
NERC Proposed options for metering implementation going forward: 1. To allow the implementation of both the NMMP and MAP metering frameworks to run concurrently 2. To continue with the current MAP framework with meters procured under the NMMP supplied only through MAPs (by being off-takers from the local manufacturers/assemblers) 3. To wind down the MAP framework and allow the DisCos to procure meters directly from local manufacturers/assemblers (or as procured by the WB), and enter into new contracts for the installation and maintenance of such meters. Very soon we all will have the option to choose if we want to pay for our prepaid meters or get the free one from the FG. Work is in progress... Meanwhile you can still apply, we will let u know the outcome. For me personally, I prefer option 1 |
If you've got any question about this, kindly ask and i'll provide answers |
