Hi Alphadoor and azy123 please I'm still battling with ACS.
They just replied my application recommending I change my anzco code to ICT engineer. I applied for developer programmer which is what I'm doing right now but I was an ICT engineer.
Please what do you advice?

Alphadoor: What school You can either request for a local copy ( preferably use your office address). Or you can request a student copy. You can't then make photocopies of it and notarized at any law office or any of the high courts in your environment Futo. I have student's copy. I'll use it. Thanks a lot. Can I send a copy of my RPL to you when I'm done so you can through it? |

Alphadoor: No. You have to upload a certified copy during your application. ACS does not require any hardcopy document. All must be certified and uploaded. Please how do I get a certified copy when transcripts ain't given to individuals |

HI kay, whats the status of your assessment with ACS? Hello Alpha, I'm still writing it. I do it at night because of work. I'll definitely give a feedback after the assement. I should submit it before second week of next month. Thanks a lot for asking. |

Azy123: Ok. I have not seen ACS equate CpmTIA A+ to Diploma. Therefore, You need the RPL to be to maximize your point for experience. And dont forget to use experince prior to your Bsc. so ACS can have 6 years to deduct. Thanks Azy. Please one more thing I don't have pay slips. I've always been paid via bank account. For my experience while in school I have offer letter but can't get reference letters. Please how do I go about this. |

Azy123: Hi KayVutton,
RPL samples. Sent check your mail.
Alphadoor asked a question. When did the acquire the profesional certs. the oldest is the most important not the most recent. you may not need RPL afterall.
see the screenshot attache.
CCIE, MCSD are mentioned on ACS assessment guidelines as equivalent to Australian Diploma and that is enough for a positive assessment. However to maximize your points for experience you will need to check which one you acquired first out of the the 4 Education options below:
1) your B.Sc - RPL needed 2) CCIE 3) MCSD 4) Any other certificate you may have e.g MCTS ( Note that ACS recognised some certificates as equivalent to AQF diploma but for some reasons best know to them they did not put it in thier assesment guidline, and if you send mail to them to ask they will simply refer you to the assessment guiline Sorry I'm just replying. CompTIA A+…..2006 bachelor's........2007 ITIL....................2014 MCSD................2016 Thanks a lot for your time. You and Alphadoor have been too kind. |

Alphadoor: RPL is recognition of prior learning. It requires you to demonstrate your IT competency through two project since you don't have a degree in IT. It's another to skills assessment. It's quite an easy task we have success stories of that path on this thread.
No pof required for RPL.
All certs and degree should be presented for assessment for maximum exploit.
Am sure @zoew @azy123 will be more than happy to assist with tested and trusted RPL report samples Alphadoor please could you send a sample of RPL to me with this email ziglarmercy@gmail.com. Seems @azy123 isn't isn't online at the moment. And please I was working as a student and during NYSC at different IT capacities. I have the offer letters but I don't have payslip. After NYSC and uptill date I've never been paid with payslips but credited directly in my account. Do I need to show my statement to prove it or my offer letters and promotion letters should suffice. Thanks a lot. |

Alphadoor: Bros ee Na play I dey i play na Someone cannot play with you ......
With ACS.. You will need a well packaged reference letter aligning your responsibilities and role as a system analyst. Does the 7yrs include your NYSC.... what year did you graduate, RPL seems like a better choice for you so you can claim work experience. What year did you acquire the certs.
A positive assessment is not far from you.
cc @zoew @azy123 I graduated 2009. Nysc 2010 I've been picking the certifications in the last 10 years. But the most recent is 2years old. Kindly forgive my ignorance. How does the RPL work? I want to do this alongside Canada but this one seems more complicated. I've tried searching for RPL via Google but couldn't find anything informative. Is it an exam? Or like wes or IQas of Canada. I have Eca from IQAs though. Do I need pof? Honestly I've tried doing the research myself but I could not find anything. |

Abby2017: I seriously doubt child birth certificate will be enough as it is not part of CIC's list, though they claim they MAY accept other proves aside listed ones.

fonseca1929: Hi everyone, please can someone tell me how best to send my certificates to WES.i have got degree in Nigeria and recently Msc in uk.Both transcripts will be ready in not more than a month. Also,I got 6.5,8,6.5 and 7.5 in lets.I really need material or advice on listening and reading.Thank you in advance For listening YouTube is all you need. Practice at least 20 test samples and aim above 36. For reading, google ielts reading sample questions. Ieltsbuddy, ieltsliz etc they are so many just google it. The trick in reading is time management and use of keywords to search for answers. Please use Capital letters to answer both test. Success!! |

I intend applying with my common law partner. We are both married traditionally but don't want to get married legally for personal reasons. I need some clarification please.
Will our child's birth certificate be enough to prove we are common law partners? We don't live together hence can't provide rent in both our names.
We both applied for US visa for our honeymoon unfortunately we got rejected and the marriage didn't hold. Will this be a red flag? |
