‎My attention has been drawn to a publication in a national newspaper where HRM Oba Riliwanu Akinolu was alleged to have threatened Igbos in Lagos to make them vote for Ambode.

Last Sunday, all honorary Eze Ndigbos in Lagos paid a courtesy call to HRM Oba Akinolu. At the meeting the visitors praised the Oba for his fatherly support for and cooperation with Igbos in. Lagos. They assured him of their continued good neighborliness with other tribes in Lagos and support everything that'll further strengthen that harmony.

Oba Akiolu on his part acknowledged the enviable performance of Governor Fashola and his contribution to the growth of investments in Lagos. He gave the assurance that he is not disturbed or angry with South-East and South- South votes for President Jonathan as perceived by the Eze Ndigbos. The Obas thereafter called on the Igbos chiefs to show appreciation to Lagos State by supporting his candidate Mr. Ambode for continuity of excellence as they have earlier promised.

He assured them of his continued support‎ and assistance where needed and the meeting ended with the traditional breaking of kolas, alligator pepper, and bitter kola and pouring of liberation on the ground. It was within this context that that the tradition of Lagos with regard to the lagoon came up. It was noted that whoever works against the throne and the interest and peaceful co-existence of Lagos would end up in the lagoon as per tradition.

2.Oba Akiolu stated further that the Igbo people have not betrayed the throne. Lagos has also not betrayed the Igbo people. Lagos has done so much to make the Igbos comfortable and to prosper. For this, we expect reciprocal respect and understanding. The Oba of Lagos prays that the Lagoon and the throne will continue to bless and protect all those who reside and visit Lagos.

3. Oba Akiolu is the father of all irrespective of tribe, religion or political persuasion. In Lagos, we have an old traditional proverb that relates to the Lagoon. The Lagoon is unique to Lagos. The proverb stresses the need for unity and understanding when you do business in an environment and in this case when you live and do business in Lagos.

Oba Akiolu prays for peace for the land of Lagos and prosperity for all its inhabitants.

Politics / Oba Of Lagos Deny Threatening Igbos In Lagos by KazeemDiary(m): 3:26pm On Apr 06, 2015
‪#‎ObaofLagos‬

For as much as it is important for the people of Lagos to appeal to men of the print media to desist from pushing headlines that are capable of heating up the Lagos polity in order to promote their brands, we must also make bold to to say that:

No doubt, the Oba of Lagos, Oba Riliwan Akiolu is a progressive minded person who appreciates the growth and development Lagosians has enjoyed for almost 16years of quality leadership but he is not a card carrying member of the APC, and also lacks the jurisdiction to enforce candidates on Lagosians. In other words, any statement credited to him either good or otherwise neither represent the position of the Party and nor should the APC be held responsible.

Going by recent happenings, Lagos State is hastily becoming a "no man's land" with the emergence of 3 Igbos as member house of Representatives in the just concluded elections which is a testimony that the State have successfully accommodated people from all spheres of lives and ethnic.

NB: The said statement is a Yoruba adage that was twisted by the media in order to misinform Lagosians, the Oba never threatened the good people of the Igbo community in Lagos and will never stoop so low to doing that.

Politics / Buharism Is An Ideology by KazeemDiary(m): 6:45pm On Mar 31, 2015
BUHARISM IS AN IDEOLOGY

9JA NOTEBOOK: BUHARISM IS AN IDEOLOGY http://9janotebook..com/2015/03/buharism-is-ideology.html?spref=tw

Not only has it been absorbed in history that “Once upon a time, precisely at the 28 March, 2015 Presidential election, a political party (Peoples Democratic Party) that occupied the office of the President of Nigeria for 4 consecutive tenures (16years), had more State Governors than opposition parties and constituted the majority of members of the country’s National Assembly and House of Representative, lost to a political party (All Progressives Congress) that emerged from a successful merger of three minor political parties in less two years to the general elections.

It is no gain saying that the official declaration of the winner, General Muhammadu Buhari (President Elect) at the sunset of 31 March, 2015 is a true revelation of the peoples mandate, after being misruled for close to two decades. It is on record that General Muhammadu Buhari (President Elect), a man who was appealed to head the Military government that emerged after the 31 December, 1983 military coup that terminated the Shehu Shagari’s inglorious government for a period of 20 months stated during his speech at the prestigious Chatham house, London that he is a converted democrat. In addition, it should be set straight that he had seek the mandate of the people for 4 consecutive time due to his undaunted love for his country and his people.

Furthermore, it is worthy to say that the winner of the most competitive election Nigeria has ever had since independence was won by a man who was consistent in his pursuit to lead his country out of abject poverty, alarming insecurity, infrastructural decay and above all an economy in total shambles, despite looking strong and agile at age 72 and from one of the most troubled States in the country.

Indeed, General Muhammadu Buhari (President Elect) is comparable to Former President Abraham Lincoln of the United States of America, a man who due to his steadfastness and determination was also privileged to achieve his aged aspiration to lead his country to greatness.

Lest we forget the pre elections hurdles that has to do with General Muhammadu Buhari’s eligibility to contest for the office of the president, setbacks that enveloped the electioneering process that has to do with the deliberate withhold of elections result and obvious inflation of votes from the region where his opponent came from, to cap it all was the display of insanity by Mr. Peter Godsday Orubebe (a former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)) which was targeted at disrupting the result collation center of the Independent National Electoral commission (INEC) in Abuja, Nigeria.

Conclusively, I will like us all to have it on record that General Muhammadu Buhari (President Elect) successfully met the conditions to be declared the winner of the 28 March, 2015 Presidential election by having garnered a simple majority of the total votes casted, General Muhammadu Buhari also garnered a minimum of 25% in not less than 2/3 of States where elections were held (24 of 36 States).

Indeed, the emergence of the Peoples General is a welcome development in a troubled country like ours, as we reaffirm our belief in the realization of a new Nigeria, which is clearly stated in the manifesto of his political party.

God bless General Muhammadu Buhari (President Elect), God bless the All Progressives Congress, God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Amen.

A pan-Igbo group, Association for the Defence of Igbo Interest in Lagos, has accused the Peoples Democratic Party of pitting the Igbo against Yoruba so as to gain political advantage.

The group said this during a press conference in Lagos on Wednesday.

The Chairman of ADIIL, Prof. Chris Nwaokobia, said the PDP had labelled the All Progressives Congress as an anti-Igbo party, thereby causing disunity in the state.

He, however, maintained that Igbo people were never discriminated against in the state as they had benefitted from appointments more than any other non-indigenous ethnic group in the state.

Plateau State Governor, Jonah Jang, has described the All Progressives Congress as a party of expediency, saying that it will disappear after the 2015 general elections.

Jang, who spoke in Shendam Local Government Area as part of the ongoing town hall meeting across the local councils, said, “In every election, new parties are formed and after the elections, they will all disappear. The APC will disappear after the elections, because the APC is an emergency party formed because of 2015 general elections.”

A Federal High Court in Abuja has adjourned all the suits challenging the eligibility of presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, till April 22 and 23, 2015. Justice Adeniyi Ademola fixed the date after he dismissed applications by two intended parties to join the suit as defendants. The judge said the adjournment would affect all the pending suits against Buhari in his court.

My take.
Yes, there was a need to give the 'clueless one' a benefit of doubt, knowing fully well that he dares not disqualify GMB in just 3days to the Presidential election.

Could this be another display of cowardice by the President Goodluck Jonathan led government OR a shift of the dooms day in our nation to after GMB's victory at the Saturday polls... ‪#‎Think‬

THERE appears to be palpable fear in the camp of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State as speculations were rife on Monday that six commissioners in Governor Rotimi Amaechi’s cabinet were set to defect to the Peoples Democratic Party on or before Friday.

Amaechi’s deputy, Mr. Tele Ikuru, had defected to the PDP on Sunday with a promise that his supporters would soon join him in his new party.

Though five commissioners were seen to be Amaechi’s die-hard supporters, other commissioners could be well out of the APC and were only waiting for the right time.

The debates, the final lap of the series of debates organised by the NEDG, is holding on March 22, according to the organisers.

But there have been allegations that the group is actually a one-man show run by Raymond Dokpesi, the Chairman of DAAR Communications Limited (owners of Africa Independent Television, AIT), who uses it as a bargaining tool for private gains and political advantage.

War: Poverty & Death.

Nigeria has been bedeviled from independence to military rule and finally to democracy, we don't deserve to witness another war, for war is always accompanied by Poverty and Death.

Therefore, It will be very inhumane and unfair, if the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) damn the consequences of their obvious evil plans not to relinquish power to the victor, when defeated at the March polls, after they have successfully drained our foreign reserve with a rise in our foreign debt, emptied our national treasury and afflicted Nigerians with so much pains in their 16years of misrule.

The ruling party can leave the coast of the country with their loots after the expiration of their tenancy in our prestigious AsoVilla, Abuja, if they are not comfortable with the much anticipated change.

Nigeria belongs to us all, we must shelve our differences and stop these elements from throwing us all into a chaotic situation.

Politics / Phasing Out Card Readers And Pvcs, A Panacea To Anarchy by KazeemDiary(m): 9:02am On Mar 20, 2015
PHASING OUT CARD READERS AND PVCs, A PANACEA TO ANARCHY

I have considered it necessary to shed more light on the interrelationship between the memory Card Readers which is commonly called PVC machines by Nigerians and the electronic smart card which is popularly known as Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), before taking on issues that surrounds its introduction, sustenance and its anticipated untimely extinction.
It is no gain saying that the memory card reader, which is a data input device that reads data from a card-shaped storage medium was proposed and funded by the President Goodluck Jonathan led administration, after a few logical deliberations at the floor of our National Assemblies and with meaningful inputs from technological savvy citizens both at the helms of affairs and the common. The first of the memory card readers were punched card readers, which read punched cards that were used during the first several decades of the computer industry to store information and programs for computer systems.

Modern card readers like the one introduced by the presidency are electronic devices that can read plastic cards embedded with either a barcode, strip, computer chip or another storage medium, which will ultimately drastically reduce the electoral hiccups that has enveloped the sanctity of our electoral institution from the advent of democracy in our nation. No doubt, the introduction of this advance technology is expected to mark the beginning of a new Nigeria, as checkmating the ills that characterizes will be made easy, provided the umpire does not compromise the process.

On the other hand, the smart card which is popularly called a Permanent Voter Cards used for communication with a memory card reader, which is a device used to scan and electronically save printed electronic cards, it must have located it perfect replica on the database before the memory card readers can successfully recognized the electronic smart card at the point of verification, then it can proceed to the identification stage before access can be finally granted to the user.

To the end of the brief information about the interrelationship between the memory card readers and the permanent voter cards, it is very important to also say that all biometric readers to include the memory card readers have a similar architectural design and working principles, by comparing the template stored in memory to the scan obtained during the process of identification. If there is a high enough degree of probability that the template in the memory is compatible with the live scan (the scan belongs to the authorized person), the ID number of that person is sent to a control panel. The control panel then checks the permission level of the user and determines whether access should be allowed. The communication between the reader and the control panel is usually transmitted using the industry standard Wiegand interface.

The Peoples Democratic Party has made their position on their disagreement with the use of the much talked about and funded technology, memory card readers in a few press statements which has eventually raised questions that seems unanswerable by these detractors in the ruling party and its sub-political parties or congresses. After a critical analysis of the number of the TVCs used in year 2011 and the number of casted votes in that year’s election and comparing the present INEC declared numbers of produced PVCs and the large number of the uncollected PVCs in year 2015 with the former, I don’t feel remorse to confidently submit that the large number of uncollected Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in the present PDP led States and those States lost to the APC at the tribunal, are the Temporary Voter Cards (TVCs) used to rig the elections in favour of President Goodluck Jonathan in 2011, which concurrently aided the victory of the PDP in the 2011 general elections.

On this note, reports from our feelers in the President Goodluck Jonathan cabinet has given strong indications that the presidency in conjunction with the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party has concluded every necessary plans to ensure that the incumbent chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Attahiru Jega and the existing 14 Resident Electoral Commissioner (RECs) proceed on the purported terminal leave which will take effect on or before this coming Saturday 21 March, 2015 or before next Saturday.

In addition, the success of these mischievous plans as orchestrated by President Goodluck Jonathan and his political party will witness the emergence of a new leadership of our electoral umpire, there are strong indications that the ushered in INEC leadership will abort the ‘finger print authentication’ during the accreditation phase of the forthcoming general elections and the possibly the relegation of the memory card readers to the trashcans, which will eventually support their evil plans to scuttle the electoral figures, if the people does not coarsely resist the complete phasing out of the card readers and PVCs.

The newly ushered in leadership will eventually request for more time, let's say not more than 60days after May 29, 2015 in order to conduct free, fair and credible elections, which will ultimately lead to an outrage amidst the people and the formation of an national interim government.

If the introducer of an advance technology could turn back to condemn it after being embraced by concerned people, then Nigerians are expected to conclude that something must have gone wrong with the evils attached to the introduced technology by the introducer. Nonetheless, i am afraid that Nigeria will never remain the same, if the ruling party successfully have their way to frustrate the helpless Nigerian masses both before and during the polls, as a predictable anarchy might consume our nation in history.

YES, SOMETHING MUST BE WRONG WITH THE YORUBA NATION.

These same people who have always claimed to be on the frontline of wisdom, supported and voted a known ROGUE who was booted out of office for abuse of office and financial misappropriation cases hung on his neck like Silver coated shackles, Mr. Peter Ayodele Fayose as governor in Ekiti State.

These same people supported and voted in Sen. Iyiola Omisore who has a murder case on his neck like a Gold shackle as Senator from prison but could not win the gubernatorial race in the State of Osun.

These same people are supporting Sen. Teslim Folarin who achieved virtually nothing as a serving Senator and he who also has a murder case on his neck like a Diamond plated shackles.

These same people are routing for a wanted drug trafficker in the United Kingdom, Buruji Kashamu for Senator in a senatorial district in Ogun State.

As a people of the Yoruba nation, we need not mask our faces in attempts to waive our absurdity or justify them but bury our heads in shame.

Even the pro-GEJ supporters in the South-South have not taken their support for the continuity of the failed incumbent administration to the extreme like some of our youths and leaders have done and are doing.

These same people are routing for the continuity of a known clueless man in our most prestigious Aso Villa, Abuja, as against the vice presidential candidacy of their own son, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN).

These same people have eventually surrendered their supposed refuge (Oodua Peoples Congress) to the Peoples Democratic Party, all for their personal gains and self aggrandizement.

I am really perturbed and unhappy, something must be wrong with the Yoruba nation.

The Yoruba nation must retract their errors and save the future of our unborn cities.

CHIEF GANI ADAMS & THE OODUA PEOPLES CONGRESS.

It saddens my heart, that the Chief Gani Adams led Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) can eventually be reduced to a sub-PDP political party as against the fundamentals of the Yoruba dominated group.

Should this be a compensation for the pipeline and waterways surveillance contract awarded to Chief Gani Adams, Alhaji Asari Dokubo , Tompolo and others just few days ago... Rhetorics

Leading an ongoing protest in the Lagos metropolis to request for the removal of Professor Attahiru Jega from office, which seems like a replica of the MASSOB protest in the South-South, denigrates our pride as Yorubas and shameful to us as a people.

I wish we can keep this shame from our children and our unborn cities but pathetically it is not possible, because it has been absorbed in history that some Yoruba leaders to include Chief Gani Adams sold out...
We got it wrong as Yorubas, i cry...

Politics / My Worries About Gen. Muhammadu Buhari by KazeemDiary(m): 2:54pm On Mar 14, 2015
MY WORRIES.

Yes, continuity in government has to do with inheriting both assets and liabilities, but I am worried that the Gen. Muhammadu Buhari led government will inherit decayed assets & monumental liabilities, if the mischievous moves of the PDP to rig President Jonathan back to office fails.

To mention a few.

GMB will inherit the ongoing dastard activities of the dreaded terrorist group, that has ransacked communities and killed thousand of Nigerians.

GMB led government will inherit the alarming rate of unemployment and abject poverty, which has promoted criminality in the past 16years of the PDP rule.

GMB led government will inherit the erratic nature of power supply, which has made notable indigenous and multinational companies leave the country, and also affecting small and medium scale businesses.

GMB led government will inherit a nearly collapsed Banking sector, battered Security Exchange Commission and a Nigerian Stock Exchange in shambles, where the value of stocks is nothing to write about.

GMB led government will inherit decayed refineries and a militants monitored oil pipelines, where rate of production is below 10 on a scale of 100 and an inevitable militants orchestrated monumental post election damages.

GMB led government will inherit decayed educational facilities, after the incumbent administration claimed to have constructed 13 tertiary institutions while existing ones remain underfunded.

GMB led government will inherit dilapidated roads, after the incumbent administration claimed to have constructed over 25,000km of roads across the Nigerian state.

GMB led government will inherit a poor functioning Aviation Industry with decayed airport infrastructures, and where financial misappropriation is the order of the day.

GMB led government will inherit a low produced Agricultural sector, where over N6B was spent to procure mobile phones for Farmers and another billions was event to provide farmers with fertilizer, this has not reduced the price of food stuffs, instead there is a continual increase.

GMB led government will inherit the ongoing ethnographic and religious sentiments which is capable of pushing our country into extinction, as promoted by the incumbent administration.

GMB led government will inherit a politicized Judicial system and a corrupt Armed forces, a product of the incumbent administration.

GMB led government will inherit a battered image of our heritage before the international community and a weak Naira.

Mark my words, Nigerians will suffer like never before, if President Jonathan is rigged back to office.

9JA NOTEBOOK: SENATOR DAVID MARK LED SENATE AND CONFIRMATION OF ... http://9janotebook..com/2015/03/senator-david-mark-led-senate-and.html?spref=tw

SENATOR DAVID MARK LED SENATE AND CONFIRMATION OF SEN. MUSILIU OBANIKORO MINISTERIAL BID.

It is on record that the ministerial nomination of Senator Musiliu Obanikoro by President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was the first time in the history of Nigeria, when well meaning and non-partisan citizens, some respected members of the ruling party will express their displeasure for a ministerial nomination and so also the major opposition party did nothing than to go haywire by ensuring that a man with pending court cases hanging on his neck like gold plated shackles is not returned as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Unarguably, the evil that men do live after them; this is the case of Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro. An excerpt from the Nigerian archive gives a reminder that Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro was opportuned to have been appointed as Caretaker Committee Chairman of Surulere Local Government on the platform of National Republican Convention where financial corrupt cases were traced to his coffer and abuse of office was the order of the day. Inspite of this, he was later elected as the State Deputy Chairman on the same platform with the hope that self aggrandizement and abuse of office will not repeat itself thereby forgetting that the hood does not make the monk. Sen. Musiliu Olatunde was appointed by Governor Michael Otedola’s administration as a Director, LASBULK (Lagos State Bulk Purchasing Corporation), and member, Lagos State Football Association. He served at different capacity as a Delegate to Local Government Congress, State Congress, and National Convention. He was also the Chairman, Lagos Island Local Government where he was reported to have masterminded the magnanimous conflagration that consumed the Lagos Island City Hall building in order to submerge his financial misappropriation but the said plan was aborted as he was still made to appear before the court of law to answer questions that bothers on abuse of office, in addition Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro as national Executive member, Grassroots Democratic Movement (GDM) under the military government of General Sani Abacha was also a beneficiary of the government that was marred by a monumental financial misappropriation and gross abuse of office.

Senator Musiliu Obanikoro was appointed State Commissioner for Home Affairs and Culture in 1999 and served for four years before he was elected senator for Lagos Central in April 2003, under the Alliance for Democracy (AD). During the election, each political party accused the other of hijacking ballot boxes but was later affirmed to have been orchestrated by Obanikoro. He was unable to achieve anything as a serving senator than the empowerment of his street vultrons. On his pursuits to key into the ruling party for protection from legal actions, he later defected to the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and was later appointed by President Olusegun Obasanjo as a member of the 2004 Amirul-Hajj Committee, as a kickback for his defection to PDP. In July 2006, Engineer Funsho Williams seeking to become PDP candidate for the Lagos State governorship election, was gruesomely murdered, with indications that it could have been orchestrated by either Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro considering his frightening desperation for the PDP governorship ticket for the ruling party in Lagos State, which prompted the Nigeria Police investigating the case to have arrested all gubernatorial aspirants of his party including him, but were all later released after a futile investigation.

In April 2007, Hilda Williams, widow of the murdered Engineer Funsho Williams, had earlier been declared winner of the Lagos PDP gubernatorial primaries, but the PDP National Executive Committee (NEC) led by Ahmadu Ali gave the governorship ticket to Obanikoro. He contested for governor of Lagos State on the PDP controversial ticket, but lost the violence marred election to Babatunde Fashola of the Action Congress. The disunited PDP under Chief Bode George, an ex-convict also lost the Lagos State Senate and all but one House of Representatives and 37 State House of Assembly seats to the Action Congress (AC). President Umaru Yar'Adua appointed Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro as Nigeria High commissioner to Ghana in May 2008, as compensation for his governorship loss to Babatunde Fashola, he was later appointed as Minister for State on Defense by President Goodluck Jonathan as a compensation for his much anticipated defeat by Gov. Babatunde Raji Fashola at the 2011 gubernatorial election after a campaign that was believed to have been characterized by hooliganism and without a spell of strategic plans for the people of Lagos.

It is no gain saying that, Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro’s ministerial position paid off for the ruling party in elections conducted in Ekiti and Osun State respectively, as the Minister for State for Defense was successful in deploying armed forces for the elections in order to achieve hidden interest which was later exposed to the public in a released tape which indicted himself and his co-plotters that orchestrated the Ekiti election rigging. Interestingly, his strategic rigging of Ekiti gubernatorial election produced Ayodele Fayose who is also standing a case in the court of law based on his eligibility to contest the Ekiti Governorship position, having being previously impeached in office for abuse of office and financial misappropriations. Unfortunately for the ruling party, the Osun State governorship election could not go the Ekiti pattern even with the deployment of masked armed men of the State Security Service (SSS) on the orders from Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro. There was coarse resistance from the people of the State who seems not ready to vote a candidate with corrupt and murder cases hanging on his neck like gold shackles. The State and national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), work harder for the reelection of Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola as the Governor of the State of OSun, though the victory was challenged by his opponent, Sen. Iyiola Omisore but was later discarded by the Election petition tribunal that sited in Osun State, Nigeria.

Despite several allegations of his role in the Ekiti State gubernatorial election rigging and the earlier mentioned cases hanging on Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro’s neck like a diamond coated shackles and further clipped to his legs like metal chains, the Sen. David Mark led Nigerian Senate on Wednesday, confirmed Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as the PDP members of the Nigerian Senate allowed Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro to “take a bow and go” without answering questions, in a well rehearsed and staged session, under the pretence of the privilege reserved for former Federal lawmakers. Before Wednesday’s confirmation, It was reported that the Nigerian Senate had deferred the approval of Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro’s nomination as a minister after he was alleged recently in a leaked tape that sparked national outrage, where he confirmed been working on President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan instruction on the Ekiti State governorship election rigging in 2014.

Conclusively, it is no news that Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro was propelled to sponsor a protest which was staged and led by young and unemployed youths carrying placards with bold anti-APC inscriptions in the Lagos metropolis, the protest was aimed at neutralizing the counter position of the major opposition party who were hell bent to stall his confirmation by the Nigerian Senate but unfortunately for Nigerians who registered their displeasure for Sen. Obanikoro’s nomination, the Nigerian Senate proceeded with the confirmation on Wednesday 11 March 2015 and this was immediately followed by a Sen. Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon led All Progressives Congress Senators staged a walkout from the session. Ever since then, the decision of the Sen. David Mark led Senate to confirm the ministerial nomination of Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro by President Goodluck Jonathan has successfully raised the dust to the horizon leaving Nigerians with a lost hope for our ailing democracy and the fear of unknown for our unborn cities.

A country that has no respect for the opinions and views of her people can never grow her democracy, for democracy is all about the people and the people alone.

¬If we vote along strata or class, who will win?
Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, because the population of Nigerians who live below $2 per day is about 115,000,000 and are not expected to live in self denial.

¬If we vote along religious lines, who will win?
Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, because the incumbent president has played numerous religious cards and denigrated the sanctity of our religious homes. In addition, the incumbent president is reported to be a member of the Olumba Olumba.

¬If we vote along ethnicity and our ethnic affiliations with the candidates, who will win?
Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, because the incumbent president is from the minority and has been clannish, in addition he does not have the required support from other ethnic.

¬If we vote competence and track record, who will win?
Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, because the incumbent president has shown a monumental incompetence and does not have an enviable track record.

¬If we vote with the interest of Nigeria at heart, who will win?
Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, because a vote for Gen. Muhammadu Buhari is a vote to secure the future of our heritage...

I am voting Gen. Muhammadu Buhari because I believe that Nigeria can work again, under a GMB & PYO Presidency...

APC ONE MILLION-MAN MATCH; LIKE A WALK TO A NEW NIGERIA

9JA NOTEBOOK: APC ONE MILLION-MAN MATCH http://9janotebook..com/2015/03/apc-one-million-man-match-like-walk-to.html?spref=tw

Not only was Saturday, 7th March 2015 absorbed in our political history, as the first time Nigerians across ethnographies and regions will come together in solidarity to match in affirmation of their undaunted support for a particular Presidential candidate and his political party, but indeed the historical day eventually marked the beginning of the long walk to a new Nigeria.

It is no gain saying that Nigerians who took part in the All Progressives Congress (APC) organized One Million-Man Match held in the Lagos metropolis, felt fulfilled by the unveiling of the APC roadmap to a new Nigeria and the provided side attractions entertainment among others. No doubt the further unveiling of the strategic APC roadmap to a New Nigeria provided a relief that successfully consumed the discomfort that accompanied the long walk. Beyond the former, they were also pleased with the presence of the ranks and files of the All Progressives Congress (APC) like Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Former Governor, Lagos State and National leader, APC), Professor Yemi Osinbajo (APC Vice Presidential candidate), Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola (Governor, State of Osun), Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode (APC Gubernatorial candidate, Lagos State), Sen. Gbenga Ashafa (Incumbent senator and APC Senatorial candidate) and other APC candidates and stalwarts to mention a few, at the long solidarity walk from Ikeja (Lagos State, Central Business District) to the popular Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

Yes, walking under the scorching sun in solidarity for aggrieved set of people or persons is not typical of Nigerians, except when financial kickbacks and other benefits are attached. In whatsoever, the jinx was broken on Saturday, 7th March 2015, history was made by Nigerians who left their comfort zones and took a walk in a 10kilometre average distance. Interestingly, the organizers of the historical “Change walk” made it public that the huge participation of the people was not accompanied by personal gains but self-motivated by their yearnings for a new Nigeria, which ultimately resulted to the display of their undaunted support for the Presidential candidacy of General Muhammadu Buhari and coincidentally embraced as a perfect medium to register their displeasure for the continuity of the President Goodluck Jonathan led administration.

Unarguably, Nigerians are beginning to witness the dynamics of democracy in its bits, particularly with the emergence of uncertainty in the battle for supremacy and power at the centre between the ruling party and the major opposition political party, this has provided a dual major lane for them as against the 16years one lane carrier, considering other lanes are alternative routes. Should the 16year old one lane carrier be rehabilitated, while Nigerians try the newly constructed major alternative route, since there is no harm in trying, or should we as a people take the dilapidated 16year old route, is a question that bothers on Nigerians and the international community.

The One Million Man Match was not just a physical exercise or a fitness walk but a common sense revolution walk as preached by the National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It was a walk to a new Nigeria with a huge number of ordinary Nigerians and people of great consciousness in attendance. Will the success of this solidarity walk transform to victory for the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the forthcoming polls?; is a rhetoric to members of the family who are very optimistic that it will sure do, but has eventually become a nightmare for the People’s Democratic Party who were also reported to have embarked on a 2kilometer walk which took off from the Presidential Villa, Aso rock as led by President Goodluck Jonathan and coordinated by Arch. Namadi Sambo (Vice President), while some has expressed their worries on the positive effects of the APC solidarity long walk on Nigerians who are still undecided, to some of our feelers.

Conclusively, Nigerians are submerged in a deep thought of what their present leaders and those seeking elective positions have for them and their unborn cities, as they patiently await the 2015 general elections that has been rescheduled for March 28 and April 11. No doubt, there are indications that the outcomes of the forthcoming general elections will be contestable in the court of law (Tribunal) and will definitely witness an outburst of crass grievances but we must as a people embrace each other and save the future of our dear nation from a total disintegration and chaos.

I share in the belief of most Nigerians that, whatever the outcome of the general elections may be, our heritage will never remain the same.

Yes, FFK is a true son of his late father whose ancestral descent is the cradle of Yorubaland, the great Ile-Ife, Osun State, as against the otherwise submission of some Yorubas who believe that he is a bastard, because of his distinct characters that are very unlike of the Yorubas.
Well, i would have agreed that FFK is a bastard or not the biological son of Late Reni Fani-Kayode, perhaps if his way of life is not in comformity with that of his late father.

Unarguably, Offsprings are most often a direct replica of the parents; either good or bad.
So, should Femi Fani-Kayode be crucified for his inability to use his 6 brains and behave like a typical Yoruba... I don't think so!

Politics / The Man Called Jimi Kolawole Agbaje, The Brief. by KazeemDiary(m): 1:41pm On Mar 02, 2015
The Man called Jimi Kolawole Agbaje, the brief.

JK as popularly called, is a successful pharmacist and the Lagos State gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), he is believed to be among the pioneer members of the defunct Action Congress before bowing out to denial from the ranks and files of the party's leadership on his aspiration to clinch the gubernatorial ticket for the 2007 election, which later produced Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) as the party's flagbearer.

This led to his untimely exit from his former party to join the Democratic Peoples Alliance (DPA) in his pursuance to realise his aspiration but unfortunately the strength and popularity of his new party couldn't match that of the ruling party.
It should interest Lagosians that JK was reported to have backed out from the race in year 2011 with statements which aligned with his believe that there is no need to contest against a government that has done so much and still doing pretty well in Lagos, while negotiations towards the 2015 elections was in progress between him and the APC. A statement that got him more recognition and sympathy from Lagosians.

Yes, his decision to take part in the 2015 Lagos gubernatorial race was welcomed with both hands, not until he publicly declared his membership of the PDP which generated diversed opinions from Lagosians and his long journeyed supporters.
I have maintained a Fencist position for as long as time, whenever Lagos Gubernatorial candidates are pushed on my desk for discussions because of my personal relationship with this man which has handcuffed my displeasure for the Lagos chapter of his political platform, because an attack on his platform is apparently an attack on JK.

JK is a man that I have loved over time and am not ready to unleash the dragons on him but i have not stopped attacking very corrupt people revolving around him. His recent use of derogatory statements to describe Gen. MUHAMMADU Buhari which is typical of members of the PDP, might push my anger button and ultimately cost him more votes, just as some people who decided to vote him are already switching position due to his poor use of words on the Peoples General.

People say JK means 'Just Kidding' but I still say that he has been able to give the ruling party in Lagos a run for their resources and power, unlike Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro who was a mere barking toothless dog.

Politics / Give Me A President-gcfr. by KazeemDiary(m): 12:28pm On Mar 02, 2015
GIVE ME A PRESIDENT-GCFR.

Give me a President-GCFR that has the capacity to discharge his constitutional responsibilities as a President, as the Grand Commander of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (GCFR) and concurrently as the Commander In Chief (C’in’C) of the Armed Forces; Nigerians don’t deserve a pawn in the hands of terrorist groups, a few cabals and a weakling before the international community.

Give me a President-GCFR with guts, for it takes a President with guts to swim against the tides and whirl wind on the cabals owned ocean, it also takes a President with guts to build ocean surge breakers or blockers for the helpless people against the high flow of corrupt from government officials and individual owned ocean of greed; Nigerians don't deserve a President who grants state pardon to looters and holds members of regressive cabals at a high esteem.

Give me a President-GCFR with Integrity, for it takes a President with integrity to build insurmountable blocks against every member of his kitchen cabinet, State Governors and Ambassadors who intended to be involved in crimes and financial misappropriations, it also take a President with integrity to prosecute government and individuals found guilty of any crime against the Nigerians people; Nigerians don't deserve a President who finds it difficult to distinguish between corruption and stealing and bring corrupt people to face the wrath of the law.

Give me a President-GCFR with financial prudence, for it takes a President with financial prudence to block financial leakages and recklessness in every sector and government parastata, it also take a President with financial prudence to cut government's excessive spending and stop inflation of government's projects. Give me a President with 'balls', for it takes a President with balls to combat the dreaded Boko Haram terrorist group and to encourage our military to quench the insecurity in the country.

Give me a President-GCFR with courage and dignity, for it takes a President with courage and dignity to give Nigeria a credible national and international representations; Nigerians don't deserve a President with low self esteem and poor representations.

Give me a President-GCFR who will love the people, for it takes a President who love the people to build new infrastructures and revive the abandoned social and basic amenities; Nigerians don't deserve a President who has produced low in the areas of infrastructure and basic amenities.

Give me a President-GCFR with sincerity, for it takes a President with sincerity to build correction centers for corrupt people and well equipped rehabilitation centers for people with mental challenges; Nigerians don't deserve a President who have abandoned federal prisons which resulted to multiple jail breaks in few weeks.

Give me a President-GCFR that can make our refineries work at maximum capacity, as against our present membership of OPEC without a functioning refinery. As a Head of State, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari had zero tolerance for corruption, built Oil refineries in PortHarcourt, Warri & Kaduna which were all running at full capacity, and twenty oil depots were built and were functioning; Nigerians deserve full independence in crude oil refining and consumption, we don’t deserve a President who could not make our refineries work after 6years in office.

Give me a President-GCFR that throughout his period as military Head of State, he refused to bow to intense pressure to drag Nigeria into the Organization of Islamic Countries, because he respects Nigeria as a secular state. Nigerians don’t deserve a President who disrespected our constitution by attending the OIC meeting in its bid to seek personal recognitions and a business relationship with the Arab Emirates.

Give me a President-GCFR that has the capacity to crush the Boko Haram terrorist group and its affiliates in the North Eastern Nigeria, as he did to the Maitaseine Islamic Sect insurgency in the Northern on record time as Head of State, while other small terror groups were pushed into extinction; Nigerians don’t deserve a President who waited to save his citizens from terrorists until he seems to be losing re-election to office.

Give me a President-GCFR who as a Minister of Petroleum, neither did he steal the Funds nor did he hire a private jet for N10 billion, he did not loot a dine from the Nigerian Treasury: He can be trusted; Nigerians don’t deserve a President who as a Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, he was inline with his corrupt boss (Dimpreye Alamaseigha) who is a fugitive, as a Governor there are no capital projects credited to his government, and as President he has produced low in office, as a result of corruption at it climax and his cluelessness.

Give me a President-GCFR who as Head Of State, One Dollar was less than one Naira, he resisted the pressure from the international community to devalue the Naira, and Nigeria was not indebted to any country or an international Bank; Nigerians don’t deserve a President under whose watch, the naira has experienced an historical devaluation as One Dollar is equivalent to Two Hundred and Seventeen Naira (N217/Dollar) and the Pounds Sterling is above N310, while our foreign debt has skyrocketed with no meaningful infrastructural developments.

Give me a President-GCFR who as the Head of State, there was zero tolerance for encroachment into our territorial borders by the international community, we were providing both technical and human supports to troubled countries in Africa and its suburbs; Nigerians don’t deserve a President whose under his watch Nigeria was invaded by Chad and her neighbours and we have eventually become a country that seeks technical supports from the international community in order to combat a terrorist group, as a result of the politics that has ravaged the professionalism in our Military.

GIVE ME GENERAL MUHAMMADU BUHARI AS PRESIDENT-GCFR, MAKE ME A PROUD NIGERIAN AGAIN.

Politics / Pdp/fani Kayode; A Factory Of Lies – Tinubu by KazeemDiary(m): 11:59am On Mar 02, 2015
PDP/FANI KAYODE; A FACTORY OF LIES – TINUBU

The PDP campaign continues its descent. This is to be
expected. Because the truth stings them harshly, they
have become a factory of lies. A few days ago, the agent of
character assassination who doubles as the busy hatchet man
of the PDP accused Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of plotting to be
vice president then President through subterfuge.
Clearly, he has exposed the confusion and contradiction
within his party and has veered off from the real debate.
But he cannot avoid the storm of change already unleashed by
the APC.

However, the only subterfuge involved in this entire
episode, is that eating at Fani-kayode’s mind. His
mind is an agent of mayhem and a foreigner to facts. The
last time we looked the APC ticket was a Buhari/Osinbajo
one. That is what is and that is what shall stand.
Fani-Kayode is not as smart as he thinks. If you read
between the lines of his hysteria you see another extreme
sentiment: that of surging desperation. His statement
indicates that even he now realizes that his pay master has
lost to Buhari/Osinbajo. The game is over. The whistle has
blown. What the fantasy man seeks to do is change the
game. He seeks to run against Tinubu in hopes the
outcome will be better. Fani now grasps at straw in the
night wind.

Fani Kayode is on a futile journey to shield the populace
from seeing the failures of his paymasters. His
statement taken in context indicates that his paymasters
will lose the election. They are now worried about what will
happen thereafter. The majority of Nigerians have concluded
that they have done enough damage to our politics, economy
and security; and cannot be tolerated any longer. Rather,
they should be voted out by the people. Their journey
of lies and deception is at its terminal point. It
lied to Nigerians and the international community that
elections had to be shifted first because of the PVC issue
and later it became a security ambush to change the date
thus aborting Nigeria’s date with destiny at the polls.

That FFK is the best a ruling party can do as a spokesman
speaks volumes about the PDP. They are bereft of
talent and character. They are filled with lies and
chicanery. FFK is simply the worst and most outspoken of a
bad lot. However, we welcome his interventions. They
are of such low quality and base character. His utterances
frighten people but not in the way FFK intended.
Instead of scaring the people away from the APC, his
work scares people that someone so unfit is so close to the
seat of power, someone so unhinged is given free rein to
spit bile and call that public discourse. One must wonder
who is unbalanced, the misfit or he who hires him. Keep at
it FFK. Continue!

Most Nigerians are fed up with this government and
desire change. They await eagerly that opportunity at the
polls. They cannot tolerate four more years of a Fani Kayode
of his paymasters and his utterances. That is your agony
Fani Kayode and of course that of the PDP and its gang of
destroyers. You will not be able to persuade majority of
Nigerians who are prepared to use their vote for a positive
change. And if only to shield the populace from your
peculiar brand of abuse of power both you and your boss must
go. The APC is committed to bringing reforms to our
institutions, recovery to our economy and relief to millions
of our citizens who are suffering.

This latest episode shows that Fani Kayode’s hallucinations
are now uncontrollable. Again, unable to
make headway against Buhari and Osinbajo he now wants to run
against Tinubu.

This plot will not work. Tinubu is not scheming to become
president through the back door. He, just like any qualified
Nigerian has the right to walk in through the front door if
he so desires. But he is not on the ticket.

For the job he is hired to do, it is expected that a Fani
Kayode will be blinded to the positive nature of the
Buhari/Osinbajo ticket. If he has failed to read and do some
research on the character of an Osinbajo, let me help him.
Yemi Osinbajo is fiercely independent. A
brilliant mind of great character and and a consummate
reformer and legal crusader. You will not dare speak
of him in this manner. The APC ticket is of people of great
resolve. But because among your own crowd you have people
who will willingly destroy not only our institutions and
country you think so of others. APC is a party with people
of impeccable character. Courageous and patriotic leaders
who are out to rescue our nation. And you, Fani Kayode are
on record to have said so in several interviews.
If FFK cannot recognize that Tinubu is a talent seeker, man
of vision, one who creates opportunities for the best minds
to thrive and serve the public, then he deserves our pity.
Tinubu’s hand is writ large in the brand of good
governance pervading the South West and other parts of
Nigeria. He is a hunter for talents as exemplified in
Babatunde Raji Fashola of Lagos who has redefined
governance.

Talented and hardworking Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun
State. Indefatigable Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State.
Eclectic Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo state. The relentless Comrade
Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State. And until recently,
Kayode Fayemi who served Ekiti well. Yemi Osinbajo
belongs to this tribe of excellent public servants.
The APC still parades other governors who continue to excel
across the country. The likes of Governor Rabiu
Kwankwos in Kano, the tireless Governor Wamakko of
Sokoto State and other governors in Borno,
Rivers, Yobe, Kwara- all of them committed to bringing
change to their people.

Bola Tinubu help build the great platform for change
,wholeheartedly work abd supports the APC ticket because he
believes it is the last best hope to rescue Nigeria from the
disaster FFK and his ilk will want to continue to rule us if
allowed to. I pray Nigerians will not allow them to
misgovern us a day past May 29. If FFK pretends not to know
of Tinubu’s efforts to build and support the
APC, it comes as no surprise . Fani
Kayode tried before to be part of the party but left when he
found out there was no room for his games. Because APC
could not help to free him from EFCC and Aviation fraud he
ran away to the party that blocked the EFCC on his behalf.

On record are Tinubu’s efforts and his contributions to
rebuilding the nation and ensuring its democracy. They
are his patriotic obligation. People like FFK will never
understand this. Patriotism is not part of their personal
constitution. Everything they do has a private beginning and
personal end. They do nothing regarding the public purpose
except lie about it.

I will not dignify FFK’s outrageous lies with any
reply. All I know is that Nigerians know that he is a
peddler of falsehood. And millions of Nigerians are with APC
and its leaders. Tinubu, like millions of APC members is pleased with the
performance of the APC ticket on the campaign trail and
looks forward to greater accomplishments from the Buhari
/Osinbajo team once in office.

Let me restate that Tinubu is a committed democrat and he
has demonstrated that times over. He is one man that has
chosen to serve this country to the best is his
ability. By God’s grace, the support of millions of
Nigerians APC will go on to win the March Presidential
elections and General Buhari and Osinbajo will go ahead to
be sworn in to lead this country to better times.
.Femi Fani Kayode cannot just leave Tinubu alone because
they see him as their political nemesis. But Tinubu will not
be their dart board. If they want to see the culprit behind
their flagging misfortune, they do not need to glare at
Tinubu. They should go home and peer into the nearest
mirror. Therein their trouble lies.
Now that FFK has revealed why his party, the PDP has
consistently persecuted Bola Tinubu through phony code of
conduct tribunal, massive unjustified
attacks against his character and integrity, intimidation
and harassment.

They all have failed. In what is a classic
case of abuse of power, the government you now work for have
accused Tinubu in the past of baseless and unproven
allegations whereas in your party, including yourself there
are wolves feasting on the commonwealth of the people. For a
leadership that cannot define corruption and theft, we are
left with a gang of plunderers. You have openly and secretly
stolen and plundered the wealth of the nation without the
slightest concern about morality and the suffering masses.

The fiction of a thousand Fani Kayodes cannot stop an idea
whose time has come. The APC is committed to upholding and
respecting the tenets of democracy and of bringing a new
government that will usher in a new day for a new Nigeria.
And that is what Fani Kayode and his party cannot handle.
The nation has had enough of their shamelessness. Please
pack up. It is time to go.

Politics / On Oduduwa Republic, Regional Autonomy. by KazeemDiary(m): 12:05am On Mar 01, 2015
On Oduduwa Republic, regional autonomy.

It is shameful to realise that vibrant Yoruba youths and aged who were the frontiers in advocating for regional autonomy, where the circumference will be made stronger while the center will be made less strong, have eventually lost their position on the lane of honour by routing for the continuity of an incumbent failed President Jonathan led administration.

In my opinion, what I expected aggrieved Yoruba youths and aged to advocate for is the 'boycott of the 2015 polls, on their pursuits to actualise the Oduduwa republic dream' which was already gaining great momentum as other geopolitical zones were already sparing up to join the pace setting and most intelligent sets of Nigerian Youths (Yorubas) to push from their zones.

This would have generated more attention, converge logical and ideological discussions on reasons why we should either embrace regional autonomy or go our separate ways as a people and most likely earn us more recognitions from the international community.

Then, we can set the pace for other geopolitical zones in the country but instead they are busy routing for the continuity of a failed administration, believing that it will help them to realise their dream of Oduduwa republic that the ruling party has not given an ear for 16years not to talk more of discussing, don't be deceived by these set of deceitful leaders who will do anything within their reach to protect their personal interests.

Politics / The Pdp's Next Evil Plans. by KazeemDiary(m): 9:23pm On Feb 28, 2015
GiveMeAPresident

The information hovering around our political necleus like bonded electrons in a fuzzy direction, reveals the mischievous move of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to 'ground private aircrafts belonging to APC stalwarts and also to freeze their bank accounts'.

This is a ploy to disable the financial stream of the All Progressives Congress (APC), so as to cause hiccups in the campaign of the party's presidential candidate and other APC contestants...

The rulng party should respect our unhealthy democracy, and abort these evil plans of theirs; everything might be fair in politics but this forthcoming polls is peculiar in our political history.

Whatever the outcomes are, our country will never raimain the same... #Think
