I've seen this run on an i5-3317U with intel HD 4000, 8GB RAM and get no more than 23FPS which imo isnt a great gaming experience. Your i3 won't be as good. So it will run but the experience won't be worth it.

I didn't latch onto Far Cry 4 tbh. I played it for about a week and got rid of it. That's not to say it's not good, it's got great reviews.

I have a bad laptop battery. In short, I have a desktop for a laptop. My laptop can go off before NEPA even take light - not a bug, a feature.

The game was DMC (Devil May Cry 2013). The moment was that final battle between Dante and his brother Vergil. For those that have played this part, you know his brother is not easy to beat. I fought that battle more than 10 times, no head. I discovered Vergil's fighting pattern, 5 more deaths into the fight and I started winning.

Just as I was about to land the final blow, I started hearing electric sparks from the socket. Before I could say Jack Robinson, light went out. Damn!. Wetin I go do? Arranged everything again and started the battle all over. But I eventually won sha, so...

Anything painful you care to share?

Another question I have to ask is how do you guys game on laptops without killing your systems?
I game casually on mine, haven't played up to 8 games in total but clocked in at least two hundred hours devoted only to gaming. Six months later the fan's given up, some of the case screws have fallen off due to fluctuating.

First rule: always game in a dust-free environment.
Cooling also is very important. I setup my laptop on an egg crate, then pump on the standing fan.
Summary your laptop is your lady, so, treat her right.

Your i3@2.5Ghz is paying off...I will at some point test a laptop with an AMD mobile APU with an R5/R7 iGPU.
Historically, AMD has much stronger iGPU's than Intel.
