By the way, please let him know that of all this or all other clearance requirements on resumption to Camp, the only no go area, as per no two way-solution about the trouble is the THUMB PRINT FAILURE! which usually arises from wrong captioning during registration or from registrations done in proxy despite all the warnings before hand

When I wanted to collect my certificate in School (UNILAG), we were also requested to drop our id card and it's only one I have with me.
I had to think of a way not to submit and also get my certificate.So, I asked them what if I don't have any id (like it's lost or stolen), I was told to go do affidavit, which I did and submitted

That was how I got my certificate without submitting ID CARD!

student ID card has really helped in many situations, like Immunity from police, across the border, cinema (free pop corn and drink) etc

I guess this your alternative suggestion is late wrt to Evathyst's present question though because the ID card has been submitted already and a way out of any potential threat during Camp clearance is what she is seeking for her friend or sister now.

Callup letters canot be ready today!! Even schools do print it out on line wich will be Wednessday by the TT.. If things dosnt change it will be Ready by Wed both in school and online..

No you are wrong this time Bro. The official release date for schools even in the latest TT is today just as it was during Batch B 15. It's always 2 days before the online printing by those who paid.

It's a pity that my School has been on Strike (ASUU) after First semester's Exam just began and Naturally, it's the students that keeps most staff members within and around school whether Academic or non-Academic, else I would have confirmed the present state of things relatively today

Please ehn, I'm making this enquiry on behalf of someone. She graduated from OAU, and had since collected her certificate. She was as well mobilised for this upcoming youth service. But the problem is that this person in question doesn't have a valid means of identification;

-She had submitted her OAU I.D card in the course of collecting her certificate.
-She didn't have voters card nor did she have a National I.D card.
-Drivers licence and international passport, she doesn't posses any.


Now, my question is that what other means of identification can this person in question tender in camp so as not be barred from entering?

1. Dtobs etc please you guys from OAU, what was your last resolution about this ID of a thing Because it is gonna be a generalized thing relative to your school across Nigeria oo

2. As logodwhiz suggested, if no meaningful response to 1. Above is forthcoming, do as postulated

3. Any old ID from the under G days would do

4. Atleast almost all schools have now embraced online documentation, so coloured copies of one's final year COURSE FORM should suffice that. Remember that most course forms do carry one's photograph or normal passport with authentication stamp

back on the matter.
as a B'15 corps member, I think I have to steal some clues from the OP. because either I like it or not,by September I will also be saying bye bye to NYSC, and finally five my complete complete kaki to my Mum. yeah, she told me she wants to have it, I don't know why though I will ask her when the time comes.


before service, I made a lot of plans of what to do during service, I thought about starting a business or teaching in other school apart from my ppa and all other stuffs like that.
but the reality is, I wasn't posted to a city or town, I was posted to a village, this affected all my plans negatively. but still I still have option of farming as the rain starts now. so I've just planted some annual crops.


on the issue of saving during NYSC.
I must I need advice on this.
because since I start serving, money is not coming from my parents, uncles, friends or any other relative, I now depend fully on my stipends paid irregularly by NYSC. so up till now I've been able to save 800# lol. its not funny though, but I'm not sure I will be able to safe anything from this 19800 considering the state of the economy.


my plan is to become a full time farmer after service.
I think that's the only thing one can start without much capital. I don't know about others, but job hunting is going to be a pleasure hunt for me when the time comes rather than a pressure hunt.
