OP, I'm sorry to say this, don't let anyone decieve you, first class is way above you. 2.1 can't not even be guarantee for you. First class is ment for A type of student in which you are not ( its obvious from your current GP). To be a first class, u have to be extremely good and lucky. First class student don't settle for B's. It either A's or nothing.
For you case now, just pray for 2.1 (u might need the help of TB joshua). Because your beggining usually determine how end looks like

bros, pls do u know that the higher ur total unit, the harder ur GP move up, his current GP is 3.0 and the OP is not an A type of student ( its obvious from his current CGPA), pls tell me how is he going to make It(especially in public universities)?? The truth is always bitter, if u are not use to getting A's and B's in ur previous years, then it almost impossible to make them in ur next four semester, there are better chances of u dropping below 3.0 point to you going higher. You will need the help of TB joshua to make 3.5 CGPA (on a 5 point scale). Your grades from the first 2years will always determine ur class of degree at the end of ur study. I'm sorry if that makes u feel bad.
