Omo I'm fed up. Packages I ordered after this particular one has arrived, this particular one hasn't.

Guys I still haven't gotten this order, I'm fed up. Also haven't gotten the next order after that.

The first screenshot is the one I spoke about earlier, I quoted it. The order was made in September.

The second screenshot is the recent order I just made few weeks ago and I expected it to have reached me latest this week and it seems it has been stuck in transit to Ibadan Distribution Center.

Bro I can't understand the reason why you would want to order Redmi note 10 pro from China when it's available in stores here..
To be candid with you. Currently, ordering phones is 50/50.
In order not to waste your time (about 75 days +) and also maybe your money, I'd advice that you get it in a local store.
After weytin these customs use my eyes see, I don't think I'll ever advice anyone to order phones till the issue has been resolved.
But please I'm not imposing anything on anybody o, it's not a must to take what I say, just do you.

The dollar card, how have you been operating it?interns of charges and loading it.

I use Barter by flutter ware, the rates are quite high but it's works well.
I really don't get the question.
How I have been operating it? On the barter app, I created the dollar card for $2, funded it and started using it. The rate per $ for now is around 580+

I don't think Kuda works for international transactions. I think it's just local because I've once tried it and it didn't work.

I had the same issue too. Though I got refunded but the question is who bears all these losses? Any explanation as to why they don't scan the items? Or would they return them back?

Personally, I can't even think of what exactly is going on but I know aliexpress bears the loss. This is because AliExpress standard shipping is handled by aliexpress themselves and it means the seller has to deliver the item to them, then they deliver it to the buyer, with this, the seller is free of any dispute.
If there is a logistics issue with such order, you will speak directly to AliExpress and the seller won't be included.
You will get refund and the seller will also be paid.
When I had my issue, the seller personally asked me to file for a refund and get my money. If he knew he'd be at loss he'd never had told me that lol.

About the items not getting scanned or getting missing (mostly phones) often and often because I know a lot of people have been experiencing it from past and others will still experience it. It's getting too much, it can't be a coincidence. Some particular sets of people are deliberately taking these items and isolating them somewhere for a reason I don't know.

Poco x3 pro from xiaomi authorised store, just like its happening to you. 75 days passed It never came.
You'd eventually have to wait and get your refund, but don't worry, you'll be paid....

Thankfully, it has been approved.
Now I wait for my refund to drop.

For those who might not know, I ordered a phone, Poco x3 pro from Xiaomi Authorised Store and after waiting for 75 days it didn't get to me. Last shipment status was "Received by the delivery company" and "Arrived at destination country".

Thanks to all that have assisted me in one way or the other, I can't tag anyone because I can't remember their names.

I received my refund and it didn't take 24hrs working day.
It's so fast probably because I used an international card (Dollar card).
Something I was expecting around next week. Lol

Buyer will have to wait out the protection period before applying for a refund. This is nüts! Do Nigerian custom have a right to just seize phone? Phones these days amongst banned items? Someone there is just plainly stealing these items and getting away with it

Apparently, we have to wait it out before applying for refunds, it's so stressful. 75 days is quite a long time if we look at it but we don't have a choice.

About the customs, their matter is out of hand, a lot of people have complained about this same issue and it hasn't been resolved. Sometimes it's not even customs that will hold your goods, it's Nipost workers. Some will say they didn't see it while in some cases they will open your package, remove the phone from the box and leave the charger and phone case for you inside the phone box. When you happily collect your package, you will open and won't find the phone..
I think someone here said something like that recently.
It's just insane bro

I guess the buyer may be refunded too. Coincidentally, buyer bought the poco phone too. Do we now conclude we have someone in Nigeria (may be customs) who is actively stealing poco phones from China?

I guess we can concluded that someone or a group of people in the customs are stealing or seizing items that are supposed to be delivered.
But it didn't just start today it has been ongoing for several years.
Any phone ordered now is 50/50.

About the refund, sincerely I was skeptical about it, I doubted if I would be paid because of the "Arrived at destination country" status but I spoke to the seller before that and he told me to seek for a refund and I will be compensated.
So here it is.
The seller is quite helpful.

Nipost will say item is on Transit and you will not receive the item and AE will refund after 75 days.

I'm actually having the same problem now.
Just as you described, I ordered a phone and after it "Arrived at destination country" all tracking sized, since September 16th.
I contacted Nipost via email and they told me they have no record of my package.
Now the seller contacted me to file a dispute and get my refund so I have to wait for the order protection to finish so I can get my refund. I'm fed up, I pray I get my refund.

Priority direct mail can either be Singapore post, swisspost, postnl, aramex, Hongkong post... Am asking the particular one because if the phone was shipped from Hong Kong Banggood usually use Swisspost etc

1. I have read here about some people never getting what they ordered for, including phones. Do people get their money back in such instances or it's gone?

2. Does warranty on product count for anything on AliExpress? Imagine someone bought a phone and after a few weeks or months it started misbehaving. What would happen? I don't want to assume anything.

3. Are there specific items that custom duties are levied on? Or is there a particular price threshold that triggers the payment of duties?

I received notice from AliExpress that my item is at d post office. Also, I have been expecting call from post office but nothing. So I went to Aba post office along ASA road and to my surprise, I learnt that NIPOST WORKERS ARE ON STRIKE. I never knew. The gates are shut.

I had to quickly call my aunt who work at d post office at Uyo and she confirmed that NIPOST WORKERS ARE ON STRIKE.
So she said I should wait till Monday and see how things turn out.

Once it lands they just put it aside and no one cares to question why it's not being scanned or there isn't any record of the amount of packages entering the country at moment? These things aren't monitored?

It is probably lost in transit. Normally when it arrives destination it should go to inward office of exchange, then arrival at sorting center or I have experience were these two didn't show and it arrived at my state hq. If you don't see these the probability of seeing the item is slim

Just called now and a female picked and when I spoke to her about the issue she confidently asked me to go to the post office.
Then I proceeded to ask about the new "Speedaf - Nipost" development hoping to get some sort of clarification or enlightenment she said it's their policy or something, indirectly telling me she doesn't know or she doesn't want to answer.
I just said thanks and cut the call.

Let's bombard speedaf call centers with complaints so this nonsense 'speedaf-nipost' can stop and our items recovered. Nobody knows exactly where our items are. You call speedaf and they tell you to go to nearest post office. You get there only to be told your item isn't with them and the issue is same with everyone. Speedaf should retrieve our items from wherever they dropped it cos it's frustrating already. Nipost is ineffecient right from time hence polluting speedaf with this unholy marriage of late.
